Amazing tour We chose this tour because it provided pick up and drop off at our hotel. Immediately upon meeting Alfonso, our guide, I knew he was someone who truly cared about your tour experience. Alfonso provided interesting historical and current information about the regions. He provided an itinerary at each stop, so we all knew what to expect. Bathroom breaks were at appropriate intervals, cold water was always available, and a surprise treat of fruit was shared. Although mentioned in tour description, Alfonso’s photography moments gave us some nice snapshots of special moments. I highly recommend Grand Adventure Tours, and specifically Alfonso.

Definately do this trip! We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Alfonso was so knowledgeable, our whole trip from Vegas to The Canyon was filled with information and facts about the local area, the history and the people. We left Vegas at approximately 7am after all the pick ups were done from various hotels, what a great service, and we arrived at the Grand Canyon approximately 1.45pm, throughout this time we stopped at the Las Vegas sign for photos, (just before 2 big tour buses pulled up, we were lucky!!) Stopped to grab breakfast, bathroom breaks, visited Boulder City, Hoover Dam, the Joshua Tree Forest stopped at various lookout view points along the way and learned so much from Alfonso, who took loads of amazing pictures of us also! I would 100% recommend this tour, the smaller group made it so much more relaxing and less structured.

Alfonso was an excellent guide, he gave us many lessons of history and geology linking Las Vegas, Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Besides, he knows special places to take incredible pictures. Great great trip to be remembered for all my life.

This tour was excellent! Our guide Alfonso was so knowledgeable and shared stories of the history of Las Vegas, Boulder City, Hoover Dam, Arizona and Nevada, the Grand Canyon and the 12 tribes among other interesting facts and bits of information, it was so captivating! Being part of a smaller group had it's own advantages too, it was a relaxed pace day taking in the sites a d we had loads of time to explore and soak in the amazing views at the Grand Canyon.

Excellent experience! Darryl is so knowledgeable and friendly. I loved that it was a small group, the pace was perfection, and we made iconic stops on our way to The Grand Canyon. Breakfast and lunch were included which was very convenient. Extremely happy with our tour!

More than expected. I picked this trip for our group of 4 because it picked us up at our hotel, included 2 meals, and was a smaller number of people for a lower price than most. I'm giving it 5 stars because it provided that and much more. The 15 passenger van was not full so we could spread out a bit. Alfonso, our driver, provided eloquent history and commentary throughout the day. There was never more than 2 hours between restroom stops and cool water bottles were provided as needed. It was a relaxed atmosphere all day.As an unexpected bonus, Alfonso took pictures of each group on his phone and sent them to us after. To be fully honest I'll also mention the imperfect parts of the trip: There were times Alfonso was hard to hear in the back of the van over the air conditioning when his speaker headset stopped working. It was a VERY long day - 14 hours. It was very hot, but it is in AZ so that should be expected!

The trip was great! It was the perfect mix of riding, exploring, and socializing! Our guide Alphonso was prepared with all of the information and background knowledge of the history of the area and the science behind the formation of the landscape. He explained in easy to understand terms and reiterate and pointed out examples, so that everyone could see what he was talking about. He took lots of photographs of each of us at all of the locations and I am really looking forward to seeing them. We recommended your tour!

Visit to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon West Excellent trip to the Grand Canyon West. Not to be missed if you are in Vegas. 2 hours 15 mins away with the Hoover Dam stop on the way. Paul was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone felt safe. Highly recommend this tour!

Darryl was our tour guide, he was very friendly, informative and organised. The trip ran smoothly, pickup was 6.15am from our hotel - plenty of space on the bus as it only seats around 10 people (also has AC). We got back from the trip around 4pm (traffic depending). We visited the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, had a mcdonalds breakfast on the go then headed to the Hoover dam. Following that, we went to the Grand Canyon to do the skywalk (pass was included in the booking - this was excellent). Lunch was included and it was a delicious sandwich, filled with plenty of filling. I have done a similar trip previously (with another company) and I have to say, Grand Adventures was much better. I would definitely book, and book in advance to secure your place as it is a great trip and good value for money. Fabulous!! Darryl was a great tour guide, driver, and conversationalist. He kept us informed prior to the trip, kept us on track during the trip, but we never felt rushed, or like things were dragging. It was perfectly paced, with helpful, interesting commentary along the way. Timely bathroom breaks about every hour or as needed. I highly recommend this tour to see Hoover Dam and visit the West Rim of the Grand Canyon.

A memorable day trip to Grand Canyon and Hoover dam! This was my third trip to The Grand Canyon and Hoover dam and also the most memorable one. Alfonso was our tour guide and is one of the main reasons for the trip being a memorable one! He was very knowledgeable about the geography as well as the history of those places and we learned a lot while driving to those locations. Alfonso also took some lovely pictures; he is also a skilled photographer! Highly recommended!

Amazing Day! This was my first time visiting Las Vegas and visiting the Grand Canyon was on my bucket list. I am so glad my friend and I decided to go on a small group tour. The folks were amazing and Alphonso was the BEST tour guide/photographer. I learned so much about the land and history of Arizona/Nevada. And we just had a great time. It’s worth the time and money. 10/10 would definitely do it again!

Amazing!! Such an amazing experience!! I appreciated that I could turn my brain off and not have to worry about driving, navigating through the Dam o& Canynon or figuring out what to do for lunch… everything was taken care of so wonderfully by our guide. Alfonso kept us on track, was mindful of our time and he has such a wealth of knowledge to share. He made sure that we knew the history of everything we saw/experienced. He truly went above and beyond to make us feel safe and informed. He’s also an amazing photographer!! He stepped in to make sure our group had lots of great pics to share. It was truly an amazing day.

I loved my tour to the Grand Canyon! It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and everything was very well organized. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing experience with Grand Adventures — truly a tour to remember! We were part of a small group of 8 people and got picked up from our hotel early in the morning. The excitement started right away and never stopped throughout the entire journey. Our first stop was at the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, followed by breakfast at McDonald's to fuel up for the adventure. On the way to the breathtaking Hoover Dam, we stopped in Boulder City, where our knowledgeable guide Alfonso shared fascinating historical insights that made the Hoover Dam visit even more meaningful. We also explored the beautiful Joshua Tree Forest before reaching the Grand Canyon. Later in the trip, they also provided tasty sandwiches, which were a great bonus and kept everyone energized. The highlight was arriving at Eagle Point — absolutely stunning views! The Skywalk experience was truly the cherry on top. Alfonso deserves special recognition for his incredible photography skills — he captured moments we’ll treasure forever. Huge thanks to Grand Adventures for making our dream trip come true in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic day out with Darryl to the Grand Canyon via the Hoover Dam. We were picked up at the hotel door and shared the vehicle with another lovely couple from Florida so we felt very spoilt. Stopped for a photo at the Vegas sign and got a McDonald's breakfast .Visited the dam then the Joshua trees and the Canyon. Darryl was chatty.friendly and informative. He provided a nice picnic lunch and bottled water .The vehicle was extremely comfortable and travelling in a small group meant there were no delays. The beautiful weather was a bonus.We would highly recommend this company. Well worth the money.

We booked trips to the Grand Canyon (South Rim) and Death Valley with Darryl from Grand Adventures, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Darryl managed to secure a private van just for the four of us, which made the trips even more comfortable and personal. It was also the perfect way to get rid of a jet lag 🙂 Darryl is an incredible guide: very chill, yet extremely knowledgeable. He provides the perfect balance of interesting information, well-timed stops, and enough freedom to explore and discover things on your own. Everything felt relaxed, well-organized, and never rushed. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Grand Adventures - and Darryl in particular - to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

WHAT A JOKE! My wife and I flew from Nebraska to Las Vegas in September with our main purpose to visit the Grand Canyon. The day before our excursion, which would occur on September 22nd, we had still not heard about our final pick-up time the next morning. We attempted to contact the company several times by phone and by email that day and early in the morning the day of the excursion. We heard nothing until 40 minutes before we were supposed to be picked up with an email that stated -“Your booking has been canceled due to the current disease outbreak in your destination”. This was obviously hard to believe especially since later we found out that other excursions from this company had in fact happened! The only good thing I can say about this company is that we did receive a refund quickly. If all of this wasn’t bad enough after we contacted the company again we were told that we would be contacted by the owner of the company. As the weeks passed and we were assured, several times, he would in fact get in touch with us, nothing happened!! We just passed 8 weeks yesterday and we have yet to hear from someone of authority as promised!! To say we are extremely disappointed is an understatement! I hope you don’t treat all of your customers like this!!!

We booked the sunset tour and Alfonso was our tour guide. He was fantastic , very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interest facts along the way. He is also a very good photographer, and was kind enough to take pictures of us and share them after, he went above and beyond what we expected. The highlight is clearly the Grand Canyon, but you also get to see Hoover Dam and a stop off in Seligman Arizona to see the historic route 66, we really enjoyed this part too and Alfonso took some cool photographs. The south rim is incredible and the point we accessed is believed to be best place for views, and what a view it was. Well worth the journey. The trip is long, but if you prepared it's a very enjoyable day, and the journey is broken up so there were plenty of opportunities for a comfort break. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip, it was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday and we would highly recommend if you are thinking of booking a Grand Canyon trip.

My husband and I visited the Grand Canyon 20 years ago, and while in Las Vegas celebrating our wedding anniversary, we decided to go again. After a lot of research, we chose Grand Adventure Tours for the package they offered—and they did not disappoint! We were in a small group of five, which made the experience feel intimate and personal. Our tour guide, Alfonso, was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, energetic, and full of enthusiasm from start to finish. He took us to every spot listed on the tour—and even added a few extra special stops along the way. His knowledge of the area, along with the fascinating facts he shared, really brought the entire experience to life. At each stop, Alfonso made sure to take both individual and group photos, always knowing the best angles and scenic spots. Though the tour was originally scheduled to end at 6:00 p.m., we returned over an hour later—not because of traffic, but because Alfonso genuinely wanted to give us the fullest experience possible. This was a truly unforgettable day, and we now have so many beautiful memories (and photos!) to look back on. Thank you, Alfonso—you were fantastic!

After spending a little while researching the best Grand Canyon tours to do in vegas, grand adventure tours came up time and time again. Having recently had my tour, both me and my partner can confirm this is the best Grand Canyon tour you will ever do and is worth every penny. Our tour guide made the experience sensational, continuously going the extra mile and we feel very lucky to have had him as he made our experience. Alphonso was so knowledgable and told us so much information, he also had the answer to every question we asked and we really learnt a lot throughout. He took pictures of us the whole way through and has an incredible eye for photography. The aspects this tour covers is amazing, no tour like it. Very nice trip! I took the skywalk tour, and I love it! The guide are a reel nice guy. With this tours you have time to admire how the nature is beautiful, powerful and big! I never feel rushed by the guide to came back! If your want a Memorial Day, take this tour! The tour start early and it’s great because when you’re arrived in canyon you are alone and not in a big crowd, the feeling is great! I recommand it!
