We loved it! Saw a bunch of dolphins. The sunset was beautiful. We snorkeled in shallow area way out. Saw some smaller fish and sponges but water was a little cloudy. Some did see a turtle. Was really nice that we could snorkel right from the boat, they provided good, high quality gear and provided a nice fresh water rinse after. Snacks consisted of fresh fruit, veggies and hummus. Best part of the trip were Smalls and Haden who were very nice, helpful, informative, and not like many of the cheesy guides we’ve experienced elsewhere. I would highly recommend with snorkeling optional — up to you.

Jackie was knowledgeable and very personable. She shared many interesting stories and facts about dolphin behavior and the other marine life around the area. Dan was our captain and was very engaging..The dolphins did not disappoint!! We saw several groupings and even a pair jumping straight out of the water to show off!! My mom, sister, and I had the most amazing time hanging out with Brian and Dan today on the guided kayak/snorkel trip. Not only did we see amazing views and wildlife but our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and fun! They were so excited to share tons of info and show their love for the ecosystems surrounding Key West. They scoped out the coolest spots for us to kayak through (literally through!) the mangroves and the snorkeling location was absolutely amazing! We even got to see Dolphins on the way back to town which wasn’t even planned for our excursion. If you are looking for a friendly, family-owned team to take you out on the water in the Keys, whether it’s the snorkel, dolphin tour or sunset cruise, please use Honest Eco! So glad I booked our Dolphin and Subset Cruise with Honest Eco. This is not a party boat outfit - it is a laid back yet so fun experience. Our Captain Dan and Skipper Jackie were awesome! It was obvious from the minute we stepped foot on the comfortable spacious catamaran that safety, our comfort, and providing us with a special experience were important to them. We were a small group of only 10 of us which allowed for a personalized experience. The focus of the sailing was the wildlife followed by a gorgeous sunset. This is a company that cares about and loves these beautiful creatures as evidenced by the way Jackie and Dan talked about them. More than just seeing the dolphins (and we saw plenty), sailing with Dan and Jackie was like sailing with friends. Everything was just perfect!

Within minutes of setting sail we were with a dolphin… gentle and kind energy exactly like the honest eco crew! Always welcoming … whenever I visit key west I never miss an opportunity to be on one of their boats! Sunset sails and snorkel dolphin watching are my go to’s but they now have added a sandbar one too and have always offered private charters. Highly recommend … today was perfect start to finish… and while it’s difficult to top the dolphins I did… a giant loggerhead turtle cruised alongside me while I was snorkeling… talk about amazing! Don’t miss a chance to enjoy an honest eco tour when you visit Key West! Extra shoutout to Captain Andrew and First Mate Sam for their great care today and to Date and Thyme for the tasty organic fruits and veggies💗

We had a wonderful experience with Alexa and Daniel on the Dolphin + Sunset Cruise. Our trip actually started with us at the wrong location—completely our fault—but Alexa was kind enough to call me and help guide us to the correct spot. From the moment we arrived, both Alexa and Daniel were incredibly personable and easy to talk to. They encouraged everyone on board to meet one another and share stories, which made the experience feel even more special. Most importantly, they were extremely knowledgeable—not only about dolphins, but also about Key West and the surrounding area. This is the perfect sunset cruise if you’re looking for a small, relaxed experience rather than a party atmosphere, and simply want to enjoy the natural beauty of Key West. As an added bonus, we saw so many dolphins—including a baby—which made the evening even more memorable!

This sunset/dolphin tour was beautiful and relaxing. We had wonderful/knowledgeable tour guides. We really enjoyed this tour , but we only saw a few dolphins from quite a distance. This was not at all the fault of Honest Eco, it was a very rough day on the water. We also did not have much of a sunset due to clouds, but there again, not something that could have been helped. We did however, really enjoy cruising along on the catamaran and the fresh veggies with hummus was amazing, along with some delicious fresh fruit later on. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the birds we encountered and educated us about dolphins. We learned some very interesting things. We saw some neat sites and beautiful scenery. My daughter was barefoot and cut her heel on the boat. The tour guides were quick reacting with a first aid kit and even offered to return us to shore. We declined and finished the tour. We were very happy that they cared so much for our daughter’s well being. I wish our trip could have been longer so we could have maybe changed our date to a less windy/cloudy day. But overall, it was a very wonderful experience and we are so happy we chose this tour with these great, knowledgable people.

Captain Libby & Naturalist, Charlie were an incredible team…so fun and knowledgable about the area and local species! They served delicious organic veggies, hummus & fruit, plus had filtered water available. We had a lovely time and saw many dolphins, including a mama & baby. We also watched dolphins jump as a cruise was leaving port. SO very special!! Loved having a smaller, intimate group, not like some of the large, loud boats we saw. There’s nothing that could have been better about the trip! We went on a dolphin/ snorkeling trip with Captain Jessie and Charlie. Both were so knowledgeable and fun. They truly made the trip special. Jess worked really hard to find dolphins and boy did she deliver! We saw several pods throughout the entire trip. We even had the opportunity to watch a calf learning from mom. The snorkeling was great as well. Charlie went out with us and his excitement was contagious. He pointed out what to look for and identified them for us. On the way back we were lucky to also catch the sunset. It was a great experience all around. Thanks to Jess and Charlie!!!

Suncerely Splendid Snorkeling soirée! Was a fabulous day with Kristen and Sam on the boat. Saw countless dolphins! Had a great time snorkeling—saw so many fish and vibrant reef. Sam and Jesse were incredible hosts! They took us snorkeling and were extremely patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and fun. Fantastic dolphin watching and snorkeling tour! Patrick and Sam were friendly, professional and made sure we had a great time. We went on the 2 pm tour, saw several pods of dolphins up close, did some nice snorkeling and then returned to the harbor to watch a fantastic sunset. Sunset trip with dolphins Wanted to have a trip out and to see the sunset away from the crowds by the harbour, we also had an added benefit of seeing some wildlife.We turned up early, no need to turn up before 15 minutes before departure so wandered around the harbour which has some nice shops and bars.The boat departed on time with 8 of us on board.I can’t recall the name of the skipper but his assistant was Heather. (We were on the Weds 12 Nov trip).We did see several dolphins on the trip, it was good that they didn’t chase or harass them so we could get a better view. The skipper took us sailing for a while and throughout the trip we had facts around the animals and key west including the two Air BNB floating rooms out at sea.Food (nice fruit) and water was provided and you could use the coolers to put your own drinks in if you wished.It ended coming back in along the harbour side past everyone looking at the sunset which was quite funny.Well worth the cost paid, excellent staff.Thank you

Lots of dolphins plus sunset sail! Great vibe if you don’t want a booze cruise but like a nice sail! Started with tons of dolphin watching with good info about them. Then put up the sails, enjoyed some fresh fruit and veggies they cut up for us, and cruised with light music till sunset. Just water to drink, but you can BYOB and they had ice for that. Seems like it could be nice to drink exactly what you want and cheaper to bring your own. Got to lie out on the netting at the front of the catamaran and they also had good seating for our 80+ year old parents. Definitely enjoyed it and would recommend.

The 4 S’s…snorkel, sail, sandbar and sunset! We had the best time on our tour. We had 3 adults, 1 toddler (3yrs) and 1 infant (9.5 months). We all wanted to do different things on the water and this tour checked all of our boxes! We got to snorkel, go to a sandbar, sail and see a beautiful sunset! Amazing Sunset Experience, Key West style! What a fun day. Both Captain Andrew and Heather were amazing, accommodating and even located some dolphins which we watched play in the water. Snacks were amazing and plentiful and Heather took some amazing photos of us at Sunset. Riding into the sunset….. Andrew and Kailyn were amazing! They provided fresh fruit (cut aboard), veggies, and water. Very knowledgeable and attentive to everyone. Unforgetable snorkelling experience Amazing boat trip in a very relaxed athmosphere. The crew took us to a great snorkelling spot and we saw many sharks, stingrays, and tropical fishes among others. Snorkeling in windy overcast conditions is normally a let down but the crew local knowledge brought a great time and plenty to see! Went on the Honest Eco sunset cruise and dolphin sighting excursion this evening. Could not have been more perfect. Captain Smalls and first mate Ryan did a great job. The trip was everything we hoped for. We were not interested in a loud "booze cruise". This fit the bill. Small boat, entertaining and informative crew. We saw lots of playful dolphins, had delicious fruit, and witnessed a truly magnificent sunset. Highly recommend.

The company also booked a musician, Jack Wolf, who played some original songs in addition to covers; loved Willin' by Little Feat. My family of four had a spectacular afternoon with the Honest Eco team aboard the catamaran. Our group saw a large pod of dolphins and had a blast watching them frolic in the serene waters off of Key West. Next, we had a chance to snorkel which was honestly not quite as great as I had hoped. The area had some sunk structures with lobsters, but it wasn't the most beautiful area for diving. Still, they equipped us well and we made the most of what we had. The crew was really exceptional. Christine was our host and worked hard to share information and make sure everyone was having a great time. They fed us with fresh veggies and fruit and had water in reusable containers at the ready. The highlight for me was the cruise into port at sunset. While the masses crowded onto Mallory Square we coasted through and enjoyed the spectacular view from the water. It was breathtaking! I highly recommend d an excursion with Honest Eco. Cheers!

Did a 4 hour snorkel and dolphin watch with Captain Eric and First Mate Brian on Squid. They are fantastic. Incredibly friendly, fun, and so knowledgeable about everything about the boat (electric, I believe the only electric boat tour company in Key West!) but also about the reefs, snorkeling, dolphins-they know them by markings and have names! No plastic, all of the food served was on real plates, no plastic cups or silverware. This company lives up to their name....hyper focused on being environmentally friendly and providing a fabulous time!!! We saw a bunch of dolphins, tons of fish and other sea life. Brian snorkeled with us and pointed to everything he saw to make sure no one missed a lobster, fish, conch, you name it! Loved to hear about Captain Eric's 30+ years working on boats in Key West and elsewhere was incredible to hear about. 5 stars! Would love to come back and try Blu Q, one of Honest Eco's other boats that does sunset sails and snorkel/kayak trips. Will definitely be back!

What a wonderful, unique and special experience. The highlight of my Key West trip. The team was so knowledgeable in their field, kind, and enthusiastic about dolphins and what they do. I got to see dolphins up close like I never had before. The boat was clean, felt comfy and spacious and it was just such a treat to ride back at sunset. I learned so much about dolphins, got to snorkel and see things I never had before, and felt truly cared for the entire time. I would love to do this again and highly recommend :)

If you want an awesome experience while in key west I highly recommend! It’s a 4 hour experience, we did the 2-6 timing and saw dolphins up close. Our guides gave us many information about the wildlife and key west’s oceanic life. We then snorkeled and actually got to see sea turtles, rays, eels, many fish etc. On the ride back we got to enjoy the sunset! Would do this again.

We had an amazing time on our boat trip. Both the captain Kyle and 1st mate Brian were extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. They explained everything in a fun and interesting way and answered all of our questions. We saw a lot of different fish and other sea life while snorkeling and finished off the trip with dolphins and a beautiful sunset. The snacks of fruit and veggies were a nice touch as well. Highly recommend this trip!

We did 2 trips. They do smaller groups. The staff is awesome! They educate you on the area and snorkel with you to help spot wildlife. We did the dolphin watch and snorkel trip. Saw several dolphin and a couple swam right next to the boat. When snorkeling we saw a nurse shark, tarpon, lobster and many species of fish. The 2nd trip was the snorkel and sunset sail. We saw some of the same wildlife snorkeling. On the way back they raise the sails and we had a beautiful sunset cruise back.

This is an awesome experience and well worth the cost. We were only in Key West for a day and all in my group agreed it was the best use of our time. Brady and Jacqueline were so fun and personable! We saw dolphins right away and had a great snorkeling experience then saw the sunset before docking. We also appreciated the small group size (12 total). They had fresh fruit and veggies and wetsuits and dry blankets for after snorkeling, very accommodating!

Wonderful experience! We found dolphins within 15 minutes!! Fresh food was so good! Our captain and host were amazing! Snorkeled for the first time and had a blast! Ended the trip with a beautiful sunset! This is a must while you’re in the keys!

We were excited to learn that this is an electric boat. Had a wonderful trip out on the ocean. Saw lots of fish and corals. Beautiful sunset and good company. I highly recommend this experience!

We highly recommend this excursion! We did snorkeling on a different day with another outfit that felt like a giant group, little personal attention, and little info. or education about what we were seeing. This eco tour outing was much better! As it turned out, there was only one other couple in addition to my husband and I and there was 4 staff that day ... so a great ratio! Also, it's obvious that they really care about the ocean and sea life and shared lots of info. about the dolphins and other things we were seeing. The boat was great too! It's an electric boat, so quieter, and was also spacious, comfortable and offered shade and sun. It was nice having a bathroom on board, and also a fresh water shower hose for after snorkeling. They served delicious, healthy snacks and water as well. We even got to watch the sunset on our way back in! The snorkeling was fun ... and Jesse and Rachel came in with us and pointed things out. We did see various corals, sponges and fish ... but we didn't find the visibility or the interest level of oceanlife as good as other Caribbean & Mexican places that we've snorkeled in. Not sure if that was just our day, or if the Keys snorkeling isn't as good as some of these other places. Overall, we loved our day out and highly recommend this ... especially over more commercialized options in Key West.

This experience was amazing. Janet and Bella were incredible. Shared their love and passion for the area and were so fun to be around. On this trip we watched dolphins, and went snorkeling. Saw amazing fish and coral. Delicious healthy snacks. And we were able to catch the sunset on our way back to the marina. It was incredible.

I'm so glad i decided to take the dolphin watching/snorkeling tour with Brady and Bella. Brady is the Captain and Bella is the first mate. These two really make you feel comfortable and welcome. Bella was fantastic!! So kind and full of knowledge about the ecosystem, marine life, geology and so much more. I feel as if I could have talked to her and Brady for hours. They are both so passionate about conservation and sharing their knowledge about marine biology. You can really tell that they wake up every day and love what they do! There aren't a lot of people that put that much heart into their work. These folks truly do!! My husband and I had never been snorkeling and it was a wonderful experience. We saw a few moray eels, a Lion fish, schools of grouper, snapper fish, along with sponges, and coral. It was an amazing experience that I would do over and over again! I'm so thankful I decided to check out this trip! It was beautiful and peaceful. I can't rave enough about Brady and Bella. We even were able to watch the sunset on our afternoon trip. Hats off to this crew!!

My first time snorkeling and I was so apprehensive. I made it! I enjoyed it so much! We had only 6 people plus the captain and first mate. We had a geographical lesson o. Florida keys, some history, fresh organic apples for a snack, we chased dolphins (in a very safe way to not disturb them), we have fresh veggies, we arrived at our estimation to snorkel, they provided everything for that including wet suites, we searched for fish and other friends in the ocean. Brady, took underwater photos of everything we found so we could just experience everything for our selves. As we each located things we shared with each other. We saw a stingray, a triggerfish, several lobsters, moray eels, giant sponges and many tropical fish. The boat is totally run by solar, quick and very spacious. After snorkeling we enjoyed a fresh fruit platter and they provided towels and blankets. You could also hose off all of the salt water if needed. We rested on the way home and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. I also saw a larger stingray jumping out of the water headed back. What a treat! I was looking for a getaway day in nature. My husband booked it and it was the best!
