D.C Griffin. Knows what she is doing. I have been treated by her for two years now for CCI. In short my top vertebra slips out of place and causes all kinds of terrible issues. She is a very skilled AO, able to adjust treatment as my neck heals and changes after each round of Stem cell treatments. She is an expert in neck problems for certain. I have suffered from chronic migraines, multiple times every week, for more than thirty years. The severity and intensity has increased in the past two years to where I'm in pain every day. November 2024 -> I have had two (2) adjustments from Dr. Griffin thus far. I deeply slept (passed out) after the first one. The back pain I had for three years has almost gone away. I’ve seen Dr. Griffin for over two years. I have a history of cervical instability, a bad habit of cracking my neck, and elongated styloids with a diagnosis of Eagles Syndrome. I had surgery to remove my left styloid process in 2019, but it did not correct the painful episodes I experience. So I continued my search for help to address the pain. I was referred to Precision Chiropractic West by my dentist who is working to correct my bite and TMJD. I met with Dr. Griffin for an initial consultation and before agreeing to treat me, she ordered an MRI to make sure it was safe to adjust my neck because of my surgical history. I gained insightful information from this imaging that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Dr. Griffin provides thorough education on how atlas adjustments help the cervical spine and address ongoing pain in the body. When I first started treatment, I saw her regularly because I didn’t maintain the adjustments. It took my body time to adjust, and I also had to stop my neck-cracking habit. Once I stopped cracking my neck, I maintained her adjustments and I now only see her as needed. I was already in tune with my body when I first met Dr. Griffin, but I am now more educated and in tune with my cervical spine health. I can tell when I need an adjustment or when my muscles are tight and trying to throw me out of alignment. After a manual neck adjustment by a general chiropractor went awry (c1/c2 subluxation), a family member recommended I see Dr. Laurel Griffin who specializes in Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic. A much safer instrument “delivering 6 lbs. of percussive force to perform the adjustment and precisely realigning the atlas vertebra within its normal range of motion.” I was skeptical in the beginning, as I felt “no twisting, popping, or pain.” It seemed too simple and non invasive ……A simple “tap” on my atlas is all I felt. To say it was life changing is an understatement. After only one adjustment, my c1/c2 was realigned and continues to hold. I will never put myself at risk again by going to a general chiropractor when this much safer method is available. Lesson learned. Thankful to have found you Dr. Griffin!!! I suffered from low back pain at a young age, 30s. I was healthy and very active. I had been dealing with it for around 7 years. I tried the regular adjustments at other chiropractic offices and other exercises/stretches to no avail. I avoided epidural injections because I wanted the root issue fixed not a cover-up of symptoms. I self-diagnosed myself with leg length discrepancy.
