Excellent Private Tour with Custom Tour We booked with Custom Tour for our last minute getaway to Tulum. We wanted to see Chichen Itzá, Ek Balam, do some shopping, have a great lunch, and do a tequila tasting. We were hoping for a great tour, and boy did we get it! Excellent!!!As soon as we booked online, we had constant communication with the owner Rod. He kept us informed if there were any change. After we arrived at the resort we received an email letting us know what time the pick up was and who our guide was. Our guide was Limbert, who was awesome! This guy was super knowledgeable with everything in the area, especially with the Mayan culture. We actually learned a lot, this wasn’t the typical tour guide that had to look up information or tried to rush us. Everything we asked, Limbert was able to tell us why or give us a reason. I can’t say enough about Limbert, super friendly, clean vehicle, air condition, cold bottle water and cold fresh face towels!! Not if, but when we come back with family we will definitely book with them again!

Chichen Itza The tour was great, the best price and communication, I was picked up on time an arrived 30 minutes before the opening and were the first people to enter. The guide Limbert was very knowledgeable and took me all ove the site which too almost 2 hours. Overall the best experience, the car was also very nice and modern.

My favorite tour An amazing experience. Wonderful experience for our whole family. Couldn’t recommend this company enough. Everything was perfect and the restaurant was also very good. Everyone enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear cenotes, cliff jumping and zip lining. 10/10

Tulum adeventure! wWe had the most fantastic day with Kat from custom tours today! The weather was dismal and it rained with thunderstorms but Kat marched on with us in tow…through the beautiful Tulum ruins! We walked, we heard stories from Kat, we waddled through the rain drops and still managed to have an fun and adventurous visit of the ruins by the beautiful Caribbean sea!Then we headed off to see the Ven a la Luz sculpture by Dan Hopper. It was in a small outdoor park by itself with a few other sculptures by up and coming local artistes. It was breathtaking!! Definitely glad we got this in! Even better, was the beautiful Haagan Daas ice cream shop in the sculpture park! It was such a refreshing treat after Tulum!Then we headed off to an exhilarating time zip lining, kayaking and then cliff diving at an open air cenote! The rain made it even more adventurous and we had such a great couple of hours!By this time, we were absolutely famished! So the walk through the Mayan village was welcoming as we headed for a nutritious and delicious Mayan buffet style lunch prepared by the local Mayan families that live and work there. The handmade soft corn tortillas were to die for as well as the local dishes like phuc chuc (pork chops), pibil (pulled meat) and relenos (black beans)….we polished these off with freshly made churros and marquisitas! The hibiscus tea was so soothing to cleanse our palates with before the final treat of a hot Mayan chocolate drink!Well nourished and eager to continue our adventures, we next headed to Akumal beach. It was a little crowded but after a quick change into our swimsuits, Kat and our local guide took us deeper into the ocean so we could snorkel and sea better. So many turtles!!! Our family thoroughly enjoyed swimming and filming with the sea turtles…it was such a fun experience! Kat followed us around with her underwater goPro snapping away as we were busy making memories!So sad to say goodbye but we are finally exhausted enough to want to get home for a hot shower and warm, fresh clothes!Hilberto was kind enough to drive us around and wait for us patiently as we engaged in our activities and always greeted us back with refreshingly cold bottles of water, which were much appreciated! He too was highly knowledgeable and took great care of us all.Kat is an exceptional and experienced guide and has a great sense of humour and adventure so for us, was the perfect package in a tour guide! We couldnt have done so much in one day had it not been for her planning and guiding!Thank you to Rod for helping me organize this with his prompt and courteous replies and all via email!Money alone cannot buy you the adventures and experiences that we did with Custom Tours with so much peace of minf and ease of booking! Fantastic day trip to Chichen Itza My partner and I took a tour to Chichen Itza with Limbert and had an amazing time! Limbert was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything! Including history, culture, iconography, scripts/languages… After an extremely informative and entertaining tour of Chichen Itza, we stopped and had a fantastic meal with fresh tortillas at a local restaurant in Valladolid. Was an excellent experience.
