Excellent Experience. We are temporarily in Albuquerque and ByTheBook was recommended by a local. I requested an oil change. As a matter of course, they also did a full point inspection. I would recommend their courteous, thorough and professional service at a reasonable price.

Took my 2018 RAM to by the book for low boost issue thinking it was my turbo going bad. They were able to diagnose it was a collapsed air filter and tube that was limiting the performance. They were transparent about the cost before starting the repair. While they had it they also did a full multipoint inspection and they asked if I wanted my brakes replaced. Overall great experience, great communication they walked me though the work when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. Lastly the pricing was reasonable for parts and labor.

My husband was traveling back to Texas from Arizona and his truck went into limp mode!! I called these guys and they fit him in first thing the next morning and got him back on the road!!! It was a pleasure doing business with you guys and yall really came through in a situation that could have been a lot more stressful!!! 5 Stars for sure

After 2 misdiagnoses from two other area mechanics, my auto repair journey led me to this shop. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Staff was knowledgeable and inclusive with their knowledge, fixed issues the previous mechanics contributed to, and kept me informed throughout the process. The best part was that the price was right. Is it wrong to say I can't wait for car repairs so I can come back to this place?! My car runs reliably for the first time in weeks so hopefully it's a long while before i experience troubles again, but should repairs need to be made, I'm returning here without hesitation.

The thing i like about this place is that they take pictures and show you where your issue is. Shoutout to Brandon at this location. Great communicator, he explain things to you, update you as you wait, and he's honest. One of the technicians accidentally broke the fitting piece for my air filter; Brandon told me about it, and replaced it for free, not to mention, he also topped off the cumins 6.7 with oil, FREE OF CHARGE. First time being here, I will return for future business.

I had problems with my truck about 3 hours outside of town. I called a bunch of shops no one would help me or they were booked out. But when I called by the book, they understood exactly the urgency of my situation and helped me get back on the road super fast. Brandon and Dallas were super helpful and knowledgeable in fixing my truck. Even though my truck was presenting very odd symptoms, they figured it out and got me back on the road in record time. In a world where customer service seems to be frequently forgotten, these guys have genuinely restored my faith. This is absolutely the best place you can possibly go for your truck not just in Albuquerque but probably in the entire region. The shop space is clean, very modern and nice. The attention to detail is obvious.

Came in for a part replacement. The part was under warranty with my car company. They had no trouble deducting the warranty costs from the bill. We all know how hard it is to get money from insurance and warranty companies, but they made it a breeze.
