Gholke built our pool late last year and we could not have been happier. Starting the build process as first time pool people was incredibly overwhelming, we went through half a dozen builders before sending an inquiry to Gholke one Saturday morning via their website. I had a call from Wes first thing Monday morning. He came out not long after that, listened to what we wanted and was completely honest and transparent about what we were up against. He drew it up and sent it with the quote and then we got to work on the adjustments and all the “what if we did this..” he adjusted all of it with grace and lent his expertise every step of the way. Once we got design nailed he handled ALL the paperwork and permitting process and then came the big dig! Matt and the whole build team are a dream! They are in constant communication, checking daily on it and all kinds of updates about who is coming, what part of the build we are in and keeping everything moving along as scheduled. We waited and waited for something to go wrong but it never happened, it was the smoothest and most enjoyable process start to finish. I’d build 100 pools with Gholke based on this experience. Pool was complete ahead of schedule (thanks TX weather for behaving) and we are swimming happily this year. Gholke comes every week to clean and maintain, they call beforehand and always send the report of how it’s all going and making sure that it’s always sparking clean. We feel so blessed to have found Wes, Matt and the entire Gholke team! They are always a call away if we need them and answer any wild question that might come up!

Let me start by saying this review will be coming out in paperback next month and I'm not a pool repair guy, nor do I play one on TV. There's where the problem starts. The big freeze this year played havoc on my pool equipment. Filter cartridge housing and ENTIRE pump motor/front strainer housing-froze/cracked/busted. Having gone through a lot of health issues over the last few years, money isn't in abundance. I thought between YouTube and a very tiny, slight hint of mechanical skill, I could do it. Please see the start of this review. It's thoughts like that and guys like me that keep pool repair companies in business. I started at the other pool store, Les.. you know the rest. The best advice they've ever given was to call Gohlke. I listened for once and THERE'S where the problem ends! EVERY interaction I've had with Gohlke from the retail shop ordering parts to calling and arranging a service call when I proved I'm really not a repair guy, to fitting me in before the heat wave this weekend has been a textbook example of customer service and showing you care about the people who walk through your door. All of that isn't even the best part, this morning their repair guy, Travis, called and said he was 20 minutes out. I'm not even sure where to start with this guy. Friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, honest and overall the finest representative of a company I've ever dealt with. The cost of the repair, considering they fit me in, the amount of work Travis had to do to fix my "repair" job and it being pool opening season was way less than expected and more than fair. In addition, Travis, after hearing about my health, reminded me of something I need to keep in mind, whether my glass is half empty or full, I'm still drinking from the glass. I cannot say enough good things about this company and Travis!! They have earned my business, PLEASE give them an opportunity to earn yours.. You'll be glad you did..

Paul Gray was my pool technician on 3/16/26. He did a fantastic job servicing my pool. The pool because of the earlier wind storm had an abundance of leaves. He was patient with cleaning the skimmer, the cleaner bag and scooping out the bottom of the pool. Properly added the appropriate chemicals, took pictures, tidied up his tools and departed. Great job by Paul and Gohlke Pools! It's hard to find young people with that kind of work ethic. He's a keeper! Jim Parker

During the recent winter freeze our pool pump stopped working. I called Gohlke Pools and they were the only ones open. Although they couldn’t send anyone as it wasn’t safe to drive, Josh who was on the call shared information on how to winterize the pool to avoid damage. That video was super helpful. Then a lead technician showed up after a week (I believe his name was Calvin?) to look at the damage and quoted a price for the fix. The technician was also very helpful in making sure none of the other pool equipments are damaged due to winter freeze. Gohlke then sent a technician to fix the pool pump. However, our the pool pump is old and hence after the fix we started hearing a loud noise. They again sent a lead technician (Travis) to ensure it’s nothing to do with the fix. What it appeared that the pool pump has gotten old and the bearings have started to wear off. As a the pool pump was old we decided to get a new one. Josh was able to give a credit for the repair they did on the old pump to the new one with no questions asked. The work done by Daniel was also top notch. Throughout this whole process right from helping during winter freeze to ensuring all the equipments are working as expected to making sure the right pool pump is installed, they did a great job. Albert with Gohlke Pools got my equipment up and running after the freeze. He was extremely busy but still got to me as quickly as possible. I will continue to use Gohlke Pools for all of my service needs. We’ve been using them for years, and our family has always been very happy with their work.

We recently hired Gohlke Pools to remodel our patio and add on an outdoor kitchen. An important feature of the kitchen was a large pizza oven I ordered that from delivery to installation added a lot of complexity to our project. Bill, our project manager, handled every challenge I threw at him with patience and grace. There was some minor damage to the oven during shipping and before they installed it Bill spent a week hunting down replacement tile to repair the damage so I’d never know the difference. The oven looks perfect! Every member of every crew they had at our house were very skilled professionals but I must give a special thanks to their stonemasons, Jesus and Osvaldo. The fireplace they created for us is gorgeous. We couldn’t be happier with our new patio and I can’t recommend Gohlke Pools enough.

Gohlke did a great job building us an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and remodeling our large patio including resurfacing the concrete. Always on schedule, all over the worker were a class act. Bill supervising the job was a real pro and great to deal with. Placing a 3000 pound oven was a challenge and they made it look easy. Real attention to detail. This is a great company!
