5 star service This hotel definitely focused on guest experience. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. There are all so kind and seem to sincerely enjoy having guests. I would say my room was 3.5 star as it was dated and a bit dark. I was there for a business conference. My colleagues had a more updated room where mine was a suite (801) that was like an apartment. Down a little alley way in between buildings. It was older and needs a bit of a refresh for sure. A fresh coat of paint and a new couch (see pic) to start would do the trick. It was very clean and large with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. Separate bedroom and a very very small, almost European size bathroom. Nice plush bathrobe, large sheet bath towels and beautiful L’Occitine toiletries making this very enjoyable for me. If you are a lady that takes time for makeup the bathroom is an issue and so is the lighting. I made it work. There is really no mirrors to see how your outfit looks either. ;-) I slept just fine, it was clean and I like all the extras. For me this what it’s important. I would stay again at this hotel. I have stayed at most of the hotel in NOTL and this one I liked the best so far. It was most comfortable and this is due to the staff for sure. Their General Manager is kind and interested in guest experiences. On the day I checked out I was getting a coffee at the Starbucks attached to the hotel. The General Manager was in line behind me asking me about my stay. The girls had an accident and coffee was all over the floor and counter. Without pause, the GM went behind and started mopping the floors. Clearly a great leader. Kudos to the entire team.

While I didn’t stay at the hotel, the spa is INCREDIBLE. It has to be the best spa in Niagara. My RMT Andrea provided a prenatal massage and she was so patient, kind and thorough I almost fell asleep. The spa had a calming atomosphere, great service before/after the massage & refreshment selection. My robe was quite dirty but I didn’t wear it during the massage so that was the only downside. Aside from that, I’d highly recommend the massages here.

Amazing location. Good service. But the rooms were not cleaned properly. The appliances/furniture were covered in cobwebs and dust; the shower shelf was covered in black mold; and there was a used water bottle left in our room.

Had a wonderful time in Niagara on the Lake with my daughter. She has stayed in multiple locations around NOTL and she agrees that 124 is something special. Beautiful room, clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. In room coffee along with a nice selection of tea for those of us who don’t drink coffee. Luxurious robes and slippers provided in the room. We took advantage of the onsite spa…relaxing and enjoyable at reasonable prices. We were within walking distance of everything we needed. Underground parking was a plus. We ate breakfast at Treadwell and would definitely recommend. Would love to return to 124

Stayed Friday-Sun in a wellness suite. Had two breakfasts and a 4 course dinner at Treadwell as well as a dinner @NOTL. Food and service were excellent. The suite with an outside patio was outstanding. Took advantage of 2 hours in their hydrotherapy spa as well as a couples massage. Staff are incredible. Was a memorable weekend and a great way to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

It was a centrally located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. What we didn't like. We checked in late (7pm) for a one night stay on a Monday night (aug 12), we were tired and wanted something to eat at the hotel's restaurant. The hostess was totally not accommodating and advised that we must have reservations, and that she could make one in 1 hours time. We were disgusted with this type of treatment and chose to visit another restaurant nearby. Considering the high room rates and the reputation the hotel is trying to uphold, we expected that we would be given better service by the hostess. This employee should have situational and emotional intelligence, as they are acting as the fact of the hotel services. Everything else (check in, room, etc) was ok, considering the cost of the room. ☺Cleanliness

Spa is absolutely amazing! The sauna, steam room, pools, cold room and sensory shower is extremely clean and beautiful. I was great to be able to go into the steam room or sauna then cool down in the cold room. The newest addition is their salt scrub in the sensory shower which I HIGHLY recommend!!!! The staff are wonderful and very welcoming, I cannot say enough, thank you for an awesome day!

My wife and I did an overnight stay on a Thursday. Loved that we could receive the midweek special on a premium room. Rooms were beautiful and clean, service was wonderful. We were helped out with any questions we had. We also had a chance to enjoy drinks at the hotel bar which we're tasty. Overalls it was great!

Perfect mixture of swanky and cozy. Over the past couple of decades I've stayed a handful of times. Celebrated a birthday with friends in the 2 bedroom Gollop villa, got engaged in the 1 bedroom villa in the Customs house. Spent the night before my wedding in the Caroline house as well as a couple of spontaneous overnight stays. A lot has changed over the years but the beds have always been comfortable and rooms are luxurious.

Spa Weekend Getaway at Niagara-on-the-Lake I stayed at this hotel with two friends, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are spacious for Niagara-on-the-Lake, equipped with a mini bar, sink, hair dryer, and a generously sized makeup mirror. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa amenities—my favorite was the snow room, contrasted with the refreshing eucalyptus room. The bar also stood out, offering tasteful and colorful cocktails. I recommend asking for the package that includes the water circuit, which comes with three cocktails (or nearly equivalent in value). The included breakfast was generously portioned and delicious. Plus, the hotel’s location is perfect for shopping on foot.

124 on Queen is a beautiful property, right in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake so walkable to shops and dining. Although we didn't use it, there is a large private patio at the back with gas fire pits. Our room was only accessible by stairs but others in the main building can be reached by elevator. ☺Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities

Wonderful Spa Experience August 6 I finally got to try out their Spa Hydrotherapy Circuit. It was a wonderful experience, the hot pool was not too hot, the cold pool was not too cold, even the snow room was enjoyable. I received a hint from another experienced customer who said to leave my flip-flops on and sit on a towel in the snow room. I was able to sit there for quite awhile watching new snow blowing out of the ceiling vent. After I did all of the wet stuff, I went into the sauna to dry off. I ordered a beverage and lunch which was served in a sitting area off the larger pool. I went home feeling super relaxed. I definitely will do the circuit again. Next week I'm going for one of their special facials. My husband & I have also had dinner there. It's a great hotel and spa.

We had the most wonderful time celebrating my husbands birthday. Your hotel is a "gem" in Niagara on the lake. The room was perfect (we were upgraded, thank you), pristine. The staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 24 hours, but will certainly return for a longer stay and utilize all this hotel has to offer. Again thank you for memorable stay.

Such a fabulous hotel! This was our first time staying at this hotel and it is now one of my favorite hotels ever!!The staff is just wonderful, the rooms are spacious. So well designed. The entire hotel has an amazing smell!! The small bar was a perfect place to end the evening for a glass of wine. I took advantage of the spa and had a massage. Another positive experience !! Our only downside was we decided to have Sunday brunch sitting on the beautiful outside patio. The food was nothing special , the service was painfully slow and brunch should not take over two hours for eggs and toast to arrive!! We had wanted to take advantage of the many activities but by the time we finished we had to think about leaving for the drive home . I would not repeat that part of our stay but we will most definitely return to this hotel. Another perk is underground parking. And a connected Starbucks. There’s such a peaceful, relaxing coastal feel to this property .

Charming This is a lovely place to stay. Location is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room in the Gate House was very nice, very clean and most important quiet. Lots of stairs..no elevator. Beds were comfortable. Shower was so..so. Difficult to turn off rain shower head. We ate dinner at Nolt which was very good. There is parking by and behind the Gate House. The front desk is on Queen Street. Niagara on the Lake is charming and unique so glad we visited.

Amazing Amazing hotel. Staff are excellent and the rooms fabulous. Loved it ....The only feedback i can give is that the poor barmaid in the bar was run ragged as not enough staff to cover a full restaurant. Service was slow but she did an amazing job trying to cope

I so hate my honesty. Travelled the world. We’ve had the great fortune of incredible hotels. Since the pandemic hotels seem to think they can stop investing and leave me with crappy towels, dirty upholstery, or even worse, plastic upholstered furniture. No way. I’m so done with Marriott and some other brands. I will only stay in Accor properties eg. Sofitel. We’ve tried most of Niagara’s vintage inns which are BARELY passable post pandemic ie. dirty and old. The exception being Langdon Hall which @ $1000 a night, should be. So….. going to Treadwell for dinner and wanted to enjoy their fabulous wine list=a hotel stay ! I thought omg ! Where???. So I recalled seeing well dressed people around this tiny doorway on the main strip in NOTL. The Q hotel. I booked. Arrival: i was a tad cranky. Larissa checked us in and she managed my spoiled , privileged little bossy self, beautifully. The room, actually, the entire property, was flawlessly clean. A must for me. Great room. The towels, linen, furniture, etc. was a dream. AS IT SHOULD BE !!! So @ $500 was worth it. Thank you so much for keeping your property in 10/10 condition. It was more than worth it.

An Exquisite Blend of Business and Pleasure I recently arranged accommodations for a fairly large group of work colleagues at the sophisticated 124 on Queen hotel and spa. Our purpose was to establish a convenient base for a full day of meetings. Recognizing the advantageous location and the sizeable number of attendees, we opted to arrive the night before and relish a delightful meal at Treadwells. This choice not only set the stage for an enjoyable evening but also provided an ideal opportunity for everyone to reconnect. The culinary experience at Treadwells exceeded expectations, with exceptional food and wine offerings. The staff's impeccable service added an extra layer of satisfaction, ensuring our gathering was seamless. The rooms at the hotel proved to be both spacious and comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. Moreover, the meeting room setup was flawlessly executed, facilitating our work agenda seamlessly. If there's one drawback to our stay, it's that we couldn't prolong our time at this exquisite establishment. The desire to linger a bit longer is a testament to the overall excellence of our experience at 124 on Queen.

Amazing stay Couples stay mid week. Can’t say enough about the quality of the inn and the great staff that help you. The underground parking is a nice touch for being in NOTL. The room was spacious and had everything we wanted and the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The 2 restaurants are really good and that is rare to have both places a 10 out of 10. Great location at the edge of the shopping district and close to dozens of quality wineries. We went to the SPA and it was really nice, I have never been to a Spa before and I am not a big fan but I am sure Spa people love this place. The snow room was kind of neat and unusual. It would have been nice to not have one pool over 100 and the other pool under 80 but that’s just me. We would definitely go back.

The spa is my favourite The spa at 124 on Queen is amazing! I am local to Niagara on the Lake and have been to every spa in old town. This one is the best by far! The staff are so helpful and kind and the services are worth the price tag. Complementary water, tea, coffee and cookies is a plus in the relaxation room. Their new hydro therapy is the best one in the area by far. In particular, Erin and Dawn are wonderful estheticians. I brought a friend of mine 6 months ago and got pedicures with them and just went back last week. After only meeting us that one time in august they remembered us and the tidbits about our lives we had shared the last time. And of course they gave amazing pedicures. This spa is my favourite ‘me time’ spot!

My favorite hotel in NOTL Fabulous location, amazingly helpful and kind staff, beyond clean, incredibly roomy and comfortable - I have stayed in NOTL before at the Vintage Hotels but I think I'll be returning here every time now. Beth was our bartender at the hotel bar and wasn't just nice, she was accommodating, kind, helpful and fun to a bunch of crazy Buffalo Bills fans that needed room to pace and watch the game and drinks to calm the nerves. Give her a paid day off or a raise from me!
