Tim and his team were great. I highly recommend his services. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with another garage floor coating company. In short, this other company tried to rescind their warranty 2 hours into the start of the job while sanding. They left me with no choice but to find another reputable company that operates with integrity and does not try to mislead and take advantage of customers. I explained my situation to Tim, and since my floor was already partially sanded and exposed, I needed to get the job finished asap. Tim, was extremely understanding and accommodating. He was able to move some things around and got the job scheduled for the following week. Tim and his team arrived promptly and did a great job completing the work. I just had my garage floor epoxy coated by Tim and his team from Garage Floor Coating of Chicago and I couldn’t be more pleased. Tim was professional and a wealth of knowledge on the coating, process, and options to get the best result. Garage Floor Coating of Chicago installed a new epoxy floor in my garage in May 2021. I wanted to live with the floor a few months before writing a review. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the job that the company did. Lloyd was responsive, the crew arrived and finished on time, and the floor looks great. I have attempted to clean the floor a few times with generally good results. Although the cleaning method suggested gets 99% of the dirt out, it takes some additional effort to get dirt ground in by the car tires to be completely eliminated. Nevertheless, cleanup is much easier than my previous cement floor and things like oil drips clean right up. I would recommend the company to anyone looking for this type of floor. Hopefully, I still will be happy years from now.

Great company to get your garage floor refinished. They were professional and responsive throughout the entire process. They were also very clean as I had an older epoxy coating on my floor that needed to be sanded and removed. They were even able to repair some old cracks in the concrete curb inside the garage from the house settling after completion. JOB WELL DONE!!!

GFC is the real deal. I held off on my review because I wanted to try out my garage floor for a while first. It is incredible. My dream garage [1350 sq ft] was a real project and many of the contractors involved had a performance that was less than stellar. GFC got my floor done. They came when they said they would and stayed on the job 3+ days in a row until it was done. It looks great, is holding up well and cleans up nicely. If you do not care for lousy service and incompetent management then GFC is for you. I recommend them highly.

Service Date: 08/17/2020 - 08/21/2020 I first contacted Garage Floor Coating of Chicago in May, 2020. They were 1 of 3 companies I contacted about getting my garage floor repaired. My estimates ranged between $2700 to $3400 for my 2 1/2 car garage with this company coming in at $3200. I had significant concrete floor damage from years of salt damage, car detailing chemicals and the previous homeowner using concrete paint which failed to protect the floor. After speaking with David over the phone for about an hour regarding the process, my concerns and the subsequent texts with ample technical data he provided me with, I was more than satisfied that Garage Floor Coating of Chicago was the way to go. I should note, David sent me multiple recent past customers (within the last 6 months) contact information, to which I reached out to a couple people who informed me I would not be disappointed. On the day of install, I met with the 2 gentleman who would complete the work. They were on-time, professional, efficient and communicated everything that would take place over the week (floor grinding, epoxy application, etc). The door connecting my garage to the house was taped off to prevent dust from entering my home. This was a concern that was taken care of without asking. My floor was leveled out and repaired better than I had expected. The work was completed in less than 5 days and I was able to move back into my garage in less than a week, which included cure/drying time. My experience was amazing. I had no hassles or issues with communication between David or the installers throughout the whole process. The floor is absolutely beautiful and I can't express how awesome everything turned out. The before and after photos I took do not give the finished product its due justice. It was wonderful to work with a no hassle, no baloney company. I was given an extremely competitive quote for my 2-car garage. A start date was set and adhered to. Then a crew of 4 came for three days in a row for 3 hours at a time. This gave each step plenty to time to set up. This is hard, dirty, smelly, work. Its best to pay to have this done. Garage Floor Coating of Chicago is the way to go.

I got the vintage mica galaxy and the floor is iridescent so it looks different from different angles. very cool feature. the sales guy david was very helpful and explained how their system was better. the installation guys were very friendly and Tim explained how to keep my floor new. very happy with my experience

I started off this process like many others - thinking of it as a DIY project but soon realized I would be over my skis. I did much research and got several quotes and decided GFCC was the best fit for the task. The entire Team was great to work with from start to finish. I originally called David in the winter for a quote, but was unable to proceed until the spring, which was accommodated with ease. The onsite crew was very professional, left the site clean each day and did a great job...they really paid attention to detail. These guys were great! They didn’t try and rush the job. Over three days they stripped my floor to bare concrete, cleaned it and laid the base coat. They patched chipped concrete at the apron and leveled it for proper drainage out the garage. I love my floor.

My garage floor had large areas of spalling and also had a crack running from one side to the other and is 23 years old. Garage Floor Coatings of Chicago came in and made it like new again. They also offered a copper flake accent that I did not see from other companies. They came out, did the work and made the floor look better than it ever was. Also, there were some touch-up required in some small areas and they came right out and took care of it. The best thing I can say about a company is they stand behind their work and are responsive to the concerns of the customer. This was a great start to a garage makeover project. An excellent result all the way around. I am glad I chose them.

I was very pleased with the services provided by Garage Floor Coatings of Chicago. I had my concrete steps and landing leading up to my front door coated. They were extremely professional throughout the process and the communication was top notch. My project was a smaller one for them and yet I never felt like I was receiving anything but the highest level of service. When I am ready to coat my garage floor they will be my first call. There was an issue with the topcoat that I found a week after completion. A small area was not 100 percent covered. They were extremely professional and quick to get out and get it repaired. No questions, no hassle, just great customer service. Any company can be good when things go right, but real customer service is demonstrated when there is problems or issues. These guys demonstrated that they know what it takes to provide a great product and fantastic service.

I had my garage floor coated 7 months ago. I hesitated for a few months after my initial quote because it isn't cheap, but, once I pulled the trigger, I do feel it was worth it. It looks great and, more importantly, is very durable. I was anxious to see how it would perform over the winter with exposure to slush and road salt, and am pleased to say it wasn't phased in the least and cleans up well. I worked with David Rak, and he was knowledgeable, responsive, and patient with all my questions and concerns. I am very concerned with quality and GFCC didn't disappoint in that area. I am considering having them coat my concrete patio next.
