This visit was my third. I have always found this place clean and well staffed, even on my first 'surprise' visit for a tour. They evaluate dogs for size and safety for day care and have an excellent facility for that. Today's visit was for grooming. My pup needed TLC due to uneven hair after surgery shaves and trimming burrs after walks outdoors. The groomer did a wonderful job considering what she had to work with and followed my request for areas to skip. I must add that I literally drive past a similar business to reach this place because I find this one to be the superior of the two.

Bunny loves to go to daycare here.i drop her off and she is so happy to go with the staff that she forgets to say goodbye to me. They also offer grooming and i have had them clip her nails. My vet wanted to sedate her, but the groomers here did it without issues. I only wish they had a live video feed in the outdoor area, so I could check in on her.

We love sending our dog here for daycare! They are so accommodating, and always happy to come out to the car to get our dog or bring her back if my wife has our newborn in the car. They confirm reservations quickly through the app, and we love the groomers as well!

Dog Mountain is the best, paws down! It's always clean in the store and smells fresh. The front staff is friendly and helpful. The groomers do a good job. Overall we're very happy with everything.

My 8-month-old puppy, Willow, had an amazing first day here! The facility is exceptionally clean, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They kept me updated with the cutest progress pictures, and I could tell Willow was having the best time. She came home so happy and tired that she slept most of the day (with a few potty breaks in between!). This is definitely the only place I’ll trust for Willow’s care. Thank you for making her first experience so great.

We live in Alaska. This past summer, we traveled down to Georgia and ended up with several months of medical issues and hospital stays. I called Dog Mountain Pet Resort out of the blue, hoping we could get our Lab Kirby in for boarding while my husband was in the hospital; the response was a compassionate and enthusiastic "Yes! Bring him over. We got this. You focus on your family." And they did exactly that. What a relief to know that our boy was in such good and kind hands while we muddled our way through complicated medical issues. The staff is beyond amazing, and Kirby came home happy and tired out each stay. Cannot say enough good things about this place!

They kept my Great Pyrenees while I was visiting relatives in town, and the general manager has a great Pyrenees of her own and she just loved mine. The staff sent photos every day and before he came home, I got a grooming that was better than ones he’s ever had at home. They are so good. I might just have to move to Georgia to be close to here.🤣

Dog Mountain has been a great addition to the Hamilton Mill area! They have a friendly staff, a super clean facility, and great additional services. What we appreciate the most is how accommodating they are. We have been doing some renovations to our home, and they have been able to take our dogs in for daycare - even same day (first thing in the morning) on a few occasions. We have also done some training with Mel, and she is AWESOME. She has made us feel more confident with our shy puppy, who has also been going to daycare once a week to help build her confidence. Their grooming team is also very communicative, and although we have only had baths/nail trims, we have been happy with the services provided. There are a handful reviews about cost, but knowing that they are being well-cared for is worth it!

I took my dog, Dutch, in for a grooming appointment. I noted that the staff had several check in’s, as it was a holiday weekend, but they still made a point to acknowledge every guest. The grooming staff was extremely kind and very excited for my oversized creature( he’s very large even for a Newfoundland). They even sent me pictures throughout the day. They did an amazing job detangling his coat! I cannot recommend this place enough.

My dog Chewy stayed here while the rest of the family went on vacation and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing everything was. There was a 6hr time difference so each morning I woke up with 5-6 pictures of him out walking around. I got the gold package and honestly I’ll do it again. He wasn’t smelly after or extra clingy it’s clear he was given the attention that he needed. I am always worried when I have to board him but he came back to me just as happy and healthy as when I dropped him off. It obvious he was well cared for.

Such a wonderful experience. They love your fur babies and treat them like family. Couldn’t be more happier.

We LOVE dog mountain! They take such good care of our pup and she loves their pool! We also highly recommend their dog trainer on staff Mel! She was familiar with our Maggie from doggy daycare and was able to come to our house and help give us tools to help with her on leash reactivity! It’s been 2 months and Maggie is doing so much better already. We can’t thank Mel enough for her help! 🩷🩷

I had an absolutely amazing and unexpected experience, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Anie, the General Manager at Dog Mountain in Hamilton Mill. On Saturday, March 21st, just minutes before closing time, I called to ask about any possible information regarding my lost dog. Without hesitation, Anie jumped into action--just three minutes before 6 PM. Even though she was wrapping up her day, she didn't think twice. She immediately remembered seeing a picture of a Shih Tzu that had been posted the day before. She quickly checked the Ring community again and reached out to the author of the post. Her quick thinking, genuine care, and incredible dedication helped lead us back to our dog--and for that, I'm beyond grateful.
