We had a really positive experience with Simplify Structures. The price was very reasonable, and the admin staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout. The work involved removing a structural wall between our kitchen and dining room, and they provided all the necessary structural calculations and drawings. Dan, who carried out the work for us, was professional, knowledgeable, and approachable during his visit. This was my first time dealing with a structural engineer, and he took the time to clearly explain the process and what was required. He also responded promptly to emails whenever I had questions, which was greatly appreciated. Building Control signed off the work without any issues. Wonderful company to work with. We got some calcs done for an RSJ to remove a load bearing wall between the dining room and the kitchen. This was one of the only companies that accommodated our needs and was excellent value for money! Daniel who did the site visit was great, very professional and provided us with the calcs in a timely fashion.

Very good service. Our architect came up with a scheme that is very open plan and warned us a pillar might be required for support. He used Simplify to design the structure and they came up with a design that kept the open plan. Unfortunately our builder failed to follow the structural design which wasn't discovered until completion when it became evident the structure had suffered movement of ceiling joists. Simplify were instructed to report on the structure and formulate a fix. Our new builder commented that the fix was well thought out and gave him an easy fix with minimal disruption for us. Well done Robert.
