Trees felled and trimmed, shrubs cleared, and all roots ground.
All work carried out according to specification, except where a recommendation from the workmen to alter what was specified in favour of a different way to proceed was accepted. In addition, at the initial inspection of the work to be carried out, it was agreed that the roots of the hedging shrubs could not be removed and that the shrubs could be cut back only to ground level - in the event, the roots, mostly, were able to be removed, but without additional cost! All in all, the workmen were generous in what they thought was required to give satisfaction.
