Spring broke and could not open my door, I was basically trapped. Called Precision and they had Shane come out the very next day (this was on a Sunday). Problem solved at a great price. 100% satisfied! Would recommend.

Precision arrived during the scheduled period and the tech, Shane, discussed with me the options regarding my malfunctioning garage-door opener. I opted for a new system which was quickly installed. There was no mess and Shane explained clearly to me how the system worked, the guarantee on the system, etc. Besides reliability and good work, I do appreciate that Precision doesn't charge a fee simply to arrive at my house, before any work is done. Other companies charge $150 or more just to drive to a site. I will continue to recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

Our technician Enrique Elvira arrived on time. He did a thorough review of our garage door. There were many issues with the door which he pointed out to me and to which I acknowledged agreement. We agreed that a new motor was required along with replacing rotors and general oiling of moving parts. He completed all but the installation of the motor - it is on order. I was impressed with Enrique's knowledge and efficiency.

Our experience with Precision Garage Door Service was very good. The team (with an apprentice) was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. We were in need of a new garage door opener motor to match our other two openers. Jesse, who was visiting from Salt Lake City, provided various options with quotes on the spot. He was training Dan, a local installer who actually was experienced with garage doors and openers, but who was new to the company. After reviewing our situation, we opted for a new Lift Master chain drive unit that matched our other units. It was noted that one of two existing units were over 24 years old and the other was only 2 years old. It was suggested to replace the older one which we did. All three units are now Internet accessible. I am an engineer and fully believe in functional systems but at a reasonable cost. I will say that the cost was higher than other quotes we rec'd from the local big box stores but these guys did seem to know and understand these systems. They were very pleasant and were able to complete the work within the time they quoted. All three doors, rails, and motors were lubricated and adjusted with new floor rubber seals. The cost was on the med to high side but the quality installation and workmanship and personable technicians made the cost more acceptable. I would recommend Precision to install and manage my garage door systems.

Got my garage door fixed and upgraded the next day after calling for a service repair. Customer service was great, honored their 5 year warranty on parts that were defective which led to this service call. Unfortunately, the garage motor was already worn and needs some updating. I’m glad that Shane, the technician, gave me a brief background of what might happen and provided me available options to fix the problem. Gave me a quote without pressure and gave it a go. The salesperson arrived at our house on time and gave us a complete and reasonable quote for the work that needed to be done. The installation team arrived on time and found that they needed to do more structural work than they had anticipated due to the very old door and some shelving around it that needed to be removed. They went so far above and beyond to make sure that the door was fitted perfectly and even reinforced shelves that they had to modify in order to install the door, and moved one of our lights that would have been in the way of the door. Finally, the installation team was professional and friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently. I would strongly recommend using this company to install or replace your garage door. The only minor complaint that I had was that I had to follow up several times with the salesperson to make sure that our garage door installation was scheduled. We had a short time frame because of travel plans. They were ultimately able to accommodate our schedule.

I can highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service for a few reasons. First of all, they called me back! I needed a new garage door - the metal on the door panels were broken so there was no way to repair it. I got a decent price on the new one from a really, really nice sales guy. A guy from the office called to set up an appointment, but that appointment was missed. By way of making that up, I got a $200 discount which was the easiest money I ever made. The two installers were so polite and moved some heavy stuff that I could not move (and moved it back again!). The garage door was installed in about three hours and the workspace was spotless - no junk leftover and the old door hauled off. I got a very detailed explanation on the new remote - way fancier than my old one. I really appreciated the price, the work ethic, and the great guys this business hires!

We were installing a car lift in our garage with a 10-foot ceiling and needed a side-mount garage door opener, along with a high-lift track modification to raise the door about 2.5 feet higher and maximize overhead space. The team from Precision Garage Door (San Luis Obispo, CA) showed up on the first day with the motor and had it mounted and fully installed within four hours. They ordered the parts for the high-lift track conversion, and about two weeks later, came back and knocked out that phase of the project in just a few hours. We messaged Precision on Sunday because our garage door was not able to open or close. On Thursday (the first day WE were available), James came to the house exactly when he said he would. He assessed the garage and was able to salvage the door but had to replace a bunch of the old rails and other pieces from the shoddy install from previous owners. Technician Malcolm Stuebing, arrived at my home on time to install my garage door opener. He briefed me on three different door openers but had only one of them available on his truck. Not wanting to loose the appointment time for him to return to the shop get another opener, I chose the one he had available on his truck to be installed.The installation went well but he should have had all three available to choose from.

We had a problem with our door closing partway and then reopening. We called Precision Garage Door Service and they had a technician out to our house this afternoon. Koleton inspected our door and found the far right cable was frayed. He replaced both cables and the door works better now.

They always overcharge and do a lousy job. They don't check for broken hinges. They spray oil on the rollers and think that is OK. Zack reached out to me. He said that is not the way they do business. He said that they would use this as a learning opportunity. He also said that he would refund the money that I was charged.

I have used precision twice now the 1st is when our spring broke and the technician arrived on time, provided a great explanation of needed garage repairs and provided 3 options for repair which I liked. James did a great job of door repair/upgrade. The door mechanism is working much better and is quieter and more secure. The only issue remaining is connecting the door to car link, the manual instructions aren’t clear and in trying to connect another vehicle the configuration was erased, i have reached out to James, for steps to get connected. James is local to SLO County and very helpful and knowledgeable to get the job done right.

The service provided by Koleton Park was excellent. He took time to examine the problem I was having with my damaged garage door and then came up with a repair that keeps it functional for now until I can afford to have it replaced. Another technician had previously told me that I just had to replace it, and did not even attempt any repair action. Koleton even returned the next day to reinforce the repair by adding some extra bracing to the damaged section of the door and adjusting the sensors so that the motor would operate more reliably, all the while explaining in detail everything he was doing. Our garage door wouldn't open on a Sunday and we needed our door fixed ASAP. We weren't happy with the previous door company we had gone with to service our door. We saw Precision is open 24/7 and had great reviews so we decided to give them a try. Abel our technician showed up on time and even earlier than the window they gave me. Called and let me know he was on his way. Abel broke down the problem and explained what was needed to get my door back in business. He also suggested a safer way to fixing the problem so we wouldn't be in this situation again. He was fast and very detailed in his work. My wife and I were very pleased with Precision. Our garage door is so much quieter too after all the work Abel did. We would recommend Abel and Precision Door all the time.

As the garage door is quite old, I requested some information about a new garage door. Preston provided a handout that had a number of differing garage door styles. WOW, just WOW! HONEST PROFESSIONAL EFFICIENT COURTEOUS So, I was told I needed a new Garage Door Opener. I reached out to Precision Garage Door based on some referrals from people I know in the area as I have only been here 3+ yrs. A young man named Koleton Park arrived on time and Listened to me tell him "why" I needed a new opener. He then told me he has already identified my issue and that I did NOT need an opener but just a bolt reinstalled that was missing. He quickly advised he could replace it and make a small adjustment to insure it was all good for a $64.00 service charge. Which I gladly accepted. Honesty is the ONLY POLICY I look for in a Business. I then asked if he had time to give me an estimate at a rental property I had close by for a new opener since I was prepared to buy one. He gladly said yes and followed me there. Upon inspection he advised new track would need to be installed as the existing layout would not work and gave me the estimate. I will be installing that opener at my rental property. Technician Abel Ramirez was professional and polite. He did a fantastic job installing our new garage door opener.

I was very pleased with Precision, called them around 9:30 am and a service technician was able to come out that same night about 6:30 pm. Technician figured out what happened and was able to fix door so that it worked properly. He advised me of what was going on and explained several options to think about for the future. I will definitely be calling them in the future once I make a decision.

Very good, old unit went out, the installer gave me a few options on a new one, picked one out and he had the new one installed in about 1 1/2 hours. Very easy, works well.
