I adopted my adult dog know he would need a lot of love, patience, and work. He came from a bad background, having reactivity to new people and other dogs. I was able to make good, steady progress with his reactivity towards new people over the years. However, his reactivity towards other dogs has been extremely challenging and persistent, and I had reached a plateau with his progress, even after working with other trainers. I am thrilled with the results I am seeing from working with Luis! We’ve had three sessions, and in this short time, his barking and lurching at other dogs has greatly reduced and he also calms quickly now. I feel hopeful for the first time that it may be possible to eliminate this behavior with consistent work. I can’t recommend Luis enough to anyone navigating behavior issues with their dog. I just wish I had found him sooner!

Luis is great with our dog. He always comes home so obedient. We board him there when on vacation, he gets groomed there and goes daycare.

Luis has brought my level of satisfaction in having a dog up into the stratosphere. If you love your unruly puppy dog like I did, and then you work with Luis, the level of bonding and confidence that both you and your dog gain will have you flying high. I love that I’m no longer being pulled around by my dog. Now He happily marches alongside me. And even when he’s having his free time to sniff and play he’s much more well behaved just of his own free will. Luis’s method gets the dog to choose for itself and make the right choice. My dog is much more happy and confident and my life is so much easier. Just be warned it takes a lot of dedication to do his training methods. And if you have spoiling tendencies like I do, Luis does not have much patience for that. He wants the dog to get your messages clearly because that’s what’s easiest on the dog. The training is mostly for the dog owner so be prepared to put in the work. I have boarded and trained with Luis for a long time and I know for certain he genuinely cares so much for these dogs.

Luis is extremely educated and knows exactly how to handle our rescue boxer who has been working through some behavioral issues. He provides great knowledge to ensure you understand what is being taught as well as your dog for ultimate success! He recently came for an at home visit to help correct our dogs issues with people at the door & our dog understood on the first try! Seriously recommend for any dog training needs but from our case he is great correcting dogs with behavioral issues.
