My husband and I spent an overnight on our way North. I had called directly to book a ground floor unit as my husband had torn ligaments in his knee and steps were a bit of a challenge. I was assured I would be getting a ground floor room with a king bed. When we arrived we were told we were upstairs. When I explained our situation, we were then accommodated in a ground floor unit but the room was much smaller than we had been led to believe and it had a small queen size bed. There was only one bedside table and when I asked for another I was told that the rooms only come with one! We found this quite strange. So only one person has somewhere to put their glasses etc? The lady from reception then came along with a table from reception. We found the wifi to be very poor. It kept dropping out and the signal was really weak which made any attempt at work a waste of time and very frustrating. The room was clean though and fine for an overnight stay

We had a super stay -Sharon made us very welcome and was able to give us suggestions of places to visit. Our room was great, just what we needed!!

Proper, professional service from Sharon - a lovely lady who really cares about her guests Also stayed for 2 nights on the way back north from Napier - service & welcome equally as good. Motel is 10 mins walk from town - Taupo is fabulous in our minds

Thanks for a lovely stay, my daughter and I were very comfortable and it was great to be within walking distance of the Iggy Pop concert and eateries! Room very clean.

Room was clean but very small. There was a sign in the fridge to say fresh milk was available from reception on request. I requested the milk but the lady at reception was quite abrupt made me feel bad for asking for it. Lots of road noise and can hear people talking in the room next door. Probably wouldn’t stat here again.

Making plenty of money, but still charging surcharges like most places around Taupo.... um get with it Taupo. Everyone is paywaving. Just incorporate the costs amd this would be a 5 star for this hotel.

Loved staying at Bella Vista Taupo! Great location just a walk into town, the staff were so accommodating when I thought I’d get there late and the rooms were lovely. Definitely recommend!
