Great location. There were several restaurants and coffee shops within 3-4 blocks. The beach was about 15-20 min walk. A block to see the ocean and to the walking/bike trail that runs near the beach further down.

We had a great visit at the Sovereign Hotel. The place was spotless. Great space, love the old feel of the place, but it’s in pristine condition. Very safe, walkable area.

Beautiful apartment and in a great spot, close to the beach and lots of amazing restaurants, bars and shopping!

Great unit in vintage building with lots of natural light one block from Ocean Drive. Large comfortable king size bed. Fantastic location walkable to the Pier, Montana St, and many restaurants & shops. We did not have a car on this trip so I can’t speak to parking. The location has a neighborhood feel & fabulous for long walks & exploring the area. We would absolutely stay here again !

The apartment is beautiful just like the pictures,and the neighborhood is safe and private.Very clean apartment but i have the say that the building as soon as you walk in has a very disturbing smell of old furniture, but the airbnb thankfully not.The location is perfect very close to Venice ,30 mins to Hollywood and Beverly.Jennifer is an amazing host very helpful and kind.I had an amazing vacation i loved LA and staying there definitely made it more memorable

I absolutely agree with others previous reviewers, the location is super! Everything you wish for your gateway is there, the restaurants, the stores near, the beach in walking distance. The apartment, even it is a studio type is pretty comfortable for a couple. Kitchen fully equipped and crystal clean. The bed is king size and very comfortable, bathroom is also very clean, the towels fluffy snow white. The building is very old and charming with great updates and nicely renovated. Beautiful exterior and interior. The only thing I would add, the way to the beach is over the highway with the stairs, which did not bother us, we always appreciate the exercise, but with the car it will take few minutes to get there, the parking is available. Thank you Jennifer, we enjoyed our weekend there!

Great location—walked to the beach and to the local restaurants every day. Beautiful courtyard with flowers and fountains. The room was tastefully and artistically decorated. Very comfortable. Will definitely rebook any time we are in Santa Monica!

I’ve stayed at several hotels and Airbnbs in this area and this one is the favorite, unless you’re willing to pay premium. Great location and price. Clean. Beautiful patio that is for the whole building to use and we never saw anyone out there.

This place is amazing — very clean and comfortable, just like the photos. The view from the balcony is great too. Jennifer was super responsive to any questions I had — the service was really excellent! I’ll definitely stay here again next time!

Great location and very clean. It had a ton of kitchen equipment which was helpful when traveling with a small child. The location is unbeatable.

My husband and I absolutely loved the location and the Airbnb. It’s in a perfect area where it’s not too busy and the beach is a 15 min walk away. It was clean and is as described. During our stay, we found out the building is historical building, that’s pretty cool. I definitely recommend this place and will be staying again when we get the chance!

Very true to photos and description. It is an old building but beautifully maintained. The condo is cheerful and updated with a comfortable bed. If light bothers you at night, bring a sleeping mask as the hallway lighting and outside lights cannot be avoided. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place in a great neighborhood, the only downside being mediocre insulation, especially from the neighbors above. 100% recommended if you want to stay in a safe, quiet place in LA!
