Such a cool experience! We saw manitees, swam through a cave, and enjoyed the springs! Chad was a super fun guide!!

I was with Amanda McGill and her companion in today’s kayaking adventure. From the onset, she curtly demanded single kayaks or she was going to ask for her money back. The guide promptly put her and her companion in singles, though he suggested doubles, as they are easier to maneuver. Our family chose doubles and were in good spirits for the full trip. Life is a series of choices and if you are significantly overweight (100+ lbs, Amanda) and do not choose exercise in your lifestyle, this may not be for you. One does need an average amount of strength to paddle. You set yourself up for failure in this adventure. Berating, swearing, and screaming at the guide during a semi-difficult section of the tour shifted blame and is not taking accountability for your own actions. You chose to be in a single kayak. It felt scattered because you consistently lagged in the group behind us. The equipment was not oversized for doubles, but for a single, ill-prepared rider it may have seemed that way. Perhaps you should treat other human beings with kindness and respect. Also, make time for the gym in your schedule.

First…. I would like to take a minute to respond to a recent review posted by Amanda McGill…. Because I was a member of her group and witnessed it first hand. Our tour guide, Christian, (who was amazing by the way), STRONGLY recommended that they ride tandem, that it would make the trip much more enjoyable…. And there may times that a single will struggle with the wind / tide…. But two ppl can manage it. That is when Amanda, VERY RUDELY snapped at him demanding they be allowed to go single or he better immediately refund their money…. Christian handled this abrupt rudeness with poise and professionalism, attempting to make them happy and set them up to ride single. Amanda then proceeded to struggle for most of the trip, and Christian had to frequently the rest of the group to wait for her/ them to catch up. Later, as we were returning, we a hit a spot that had a bit of more current, mixed with some strong wind…. Making it more of a challenge to get through that spot…. But those of us kayaking tandem, got through without problems…. Amanda, on the other hand, could not get through…. Christian immediately turned around to assist her, in which she hurled a slew of obscenities, and profane insults at Christian…. All within earshot of my children…. Moral of the story…. Listen to your tour guide Amanda…. They probably know best…. I really wanted to ask you the same thing I ask my kids when they do something dumb and it results in some sort of pain or discomfort, “Did you learn something?” But judging by your misleading review, I take that as a no. Now…. To my review…. Christian was amazing. He was sociable…. Told us about the area, the local wildlife, etc…. Everything about the tour, other than Amanda, was great!!!

Avoid this tour! Worst experience ever. The service was unprofessional from the moment we arrived. The guide ignored us, tried to switch our booked individual kayaks to a tandem, and eventually gave us heavy, oversized equipment that was nearly impossible to paddle. There was no actual "guiding" involved—no history, no facts, and the group was left scattered. On the way back, the guide's poor planning left us fighting a heavy tide and wind. His attempt to tow me was dangerous and unstable, and I felt so unsafe that I ended up walking back over hot concrete in bare feet (as he told us not to bring shoes). Save your money and go with a company that actually cares about safety and customer service.

This was an incredible experience and Christian was an amazing guide and an awesome person in general. Would come back. Thanks for the memorable experience

My family of 8, including my 3 small children (ages 2, 3 & 6), went Clear Kayaking with Chad and Christian and had the BEST time. They are passionate about the river and its wildlife, as well as providing you the best experience. 10/10 would recommend! Did I mention how funny Chad is? My kids LOVED him!!

What an amazing kayaking experience at Cape cove. It was my first time on a solo kayak so I was quite nervous. Huge shout out to Michael at Cape cove! He did an awesome job of explaining and demonstrating everything to us and he also gave us a lot of information about the local wildlife. It was a bonus that a dolphin was swimming right by our kayaks! 100% recommend it for the location and the price.

This is a hidden gem for wildlife lovers. Got to see a dolphin, pelican and a cormorant. Michael was super helpful and gave a lot of insights about the area and the marine life. Will recommend this to everyone looking for a great kayak experience.

My family & I were visiting from Nebraska. This was by FAR the highlight of our trip to Florida! Chad made this experience so fun for the kids & the adults! We just finished our 8th Chadillac Adventure at Shell Key! We have done 2 tours at Weeki, 3 at Shell Key, 1 at the Chass, 1 boat tour to honeymoon island and caladesi, and another boat tour to three rooker. Whether it’s kayaking in the Springs or boating to a sandbar, you will not be disappointed. Our family looks forward to Chadillac Adventures every time we are down in Florida. And yes we will be back to do another! If you are looking for more than a “cookie cutter” tour, you should book with Chad. His tours are FUN! You explore, you get in the water, you learn a little something about the spot you are adventuring, you get to actually experience Florida the way you should be! Cant wait for the next one!

Chad made our bachelorette trip so special! He was with us the whole time and honestly felt like part of the group because he is so easy to talk to and just a great guy to be around. Even with the March winds kicking up, he knew exactly where to take us so we could relax at a protected sandbar. He was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were having a blast. Christian is the best guide

My kids and I had an amazing time at Chadillac Adventure! Easy registration direction and friendly workers to make you feel good even as beginners and new to the area. Definitely will be back to enjoy many more times with them.

We went to three sisters springs and got to swim though an under water cave. Our guide Garrett took us to find manatees, showed us an alligators and took us to “the crack” it was refreshing swimming in the crystal clear and blue water. Garret was an awesome guide and really showed us a good time, it was neat chatting with him as we paddled and we learned a lot from him. If we’re ever back down that way we’d love to do it again.

Had a great time kayaking the Weeki Wachee River with Chadillac Adventures today. The river is absolutely beautiful and the whole trip was smooth and well organized. Chad made the experience even better—he was fun, easygoing, and made the whole trip a blast. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great way to enjoy the river!

Chad was a wonderful tour guide who showed us a beautiful area of Florida. He was knowledgeable on the area and provided lots of entertainment! This is our 2nd time with him and we will be back for more!

I ran across Chad the owner today on Weeki Wachee River with a group of people in clear kayaks. I passed him twice with their kayaks ran up on the bank and were standing in the river. The one time they were standing next to the sign that says no swimming stay in your vessel. a woman on the tour was pulling on the tree branches to get up the bank. They also had alcohol which isn’t allowed on Weeki. I was disappointed to see someone allowing tourists to think it’s ok to not follow the rules that are in place to protect Weeki. If we don’t protect it won’t be around for the future. Also if you get a ticket for alcohol or beaching your vessel is the owner responsible for paying for it or the tour group?

Had a great time on the 3 hour boat tour. Chad brought our family to an awesome sandbar. It felt like our own private getaway as there weren’t many people or boats around. Had a great time hunting for shells and looking for fish. It was the perfect way to enjoy Florida sand and water. The boat ride was fun and exciting! Just the right amount of speed and splash! It was interesting to hear about the some of the “famous” people who live there and some of the history of the sandbar. Chad is a great tour guide and is great at keeping things interesting. 100% go with Chadillac Adventures to explore Clearwater Beach!

Our kayak experience was wonderful. It was adventurous as we paddled through the various routes available to us. Goose was very helpful and personable, making us feel very comfortable and welcomed. He suggested many routes we could take…we went on all of them. Since we arrived early, everyone assisted us with friendly welcomes. In addition to Goose, the young man who worked in the kitchen was rather knowledgeable and accommodating too. We would definitely embark on this adventure again. Thank you.

My daughter and I had a great time, we were able to go see Honeymoon Island and Caladesi. We were able to hop off the boat and wander, collecting shells and take in the beauty of the area. We were also able to see many dolphins and he even was able to get them to play in the wake from the boat! Definitely a highlight of our tip!

Booked a last minute adventure with Chadillac Adventures and couldn’t have been more impressed. Paddle boarding, snorkeling, up-close dolphin viewing and a sweet sand bar. Thanks for the memories!
