I volunteered for Bridge for a little over a year and they treat their volunteers and patients like royalty, I have never felt so appreciated in my life and never heard a single complaint from the patients I visited. If anyone is looking to volunteer or use them for care, I strongly recommend!

Bridge Hospice has been a great company to provide hospice care to my family in their time of need for our elders as they began to transition to that next journey. We had a family member that needed hospice care so we checked with all the hospices in Lubbock and talked to each one of them individually. After doing that, we decided hands-down that Bridge would be our best choice and they definitely were ,very compassionate people ,First class care we could not have asked for anymore thank you to all the Staff at Bridge Hospice for taking such good care of our family member..

Shout out to Tammie, Steve and Jessica for assisting with the passing of my grandfather. They made this horrible event so smooth and easy on our family. This is a team of people who genuinely care. I can’t thank the entire Bridge team enough for the amazing care and support you have provided my precious grandmother and matriarch of our family! At 101 years old, she’s needed increased care and my family needed guidance to navigate the unknown- end of life care. Like so many things in life, you don’t know what you don’t know. There are so many things to consider and take into account. What I quickly realized is that the right hospice care not only improves a patients quality of life, the right hospice care can EXTEND a patients life! Things like UTI’s and other illness can be detected and treated at home, rather than being left untreated and eventually having to go to a hospital or other facility. That was the most difficult thing- she didn’t like being left in a facility to recover, so we needed a solution to provide care and give her the best quality of life while we still have her. Tammie is an amazing patient advocate and has guided us beautifully throughout the process. From the beginning, just letting us know how things work, what to expect, searching for and negotiating on our behalf a short term facility, and all of the things Bridge provides. Then came the Bridge Care Team! Wow!! I can tell you firsthand, the level of care and responsiveness is second to none. When Emily (Nurse Practitioner) came to the hospital initially, we knew right away that our family had made the right decision. My mother told me over the phone that my grandmother gave Emily the biggest hug and kiss on the cheek, asking if she was going to be back and take care of her. From that moment, the sense of relief and peace of mind that came from seeing how she responded to the care team was exactly the confirmation we needed. ANYTHING we’ve needed, Bridge has provided or guided. From medical equipment to care advice to care excellence, Bridge has been an amazing partner. They operate with a servants heart- caring, compassionate, patient and loving. I can’t recommend Bridge Hospice enough. Tammie, Jaime Emily, Jessica and the entire Bridge team- from the bottom of my heart, thank you. My family thanks you for giving us the gift of the best quality of life for my grandmother during this stage of her life. I’ll be in Lubbock again soon, so I can hug you all and thank you in person! From the moment Bridge stepped in they immediately came to see what we needed, equipment, supplies meds, etc. Our Nurse Staci was amazing and available for any questions or concerns I had in caring for my friend. Also, Lora our CNA was an immense help with every area of providing care, baths and making sure we were fully stocked on supplies to be sure I had what we needed. Chaplain Bert your prayers and encouragement are appreciated. I truly appreciate all the help they provided till the very end. Staci handled all calls and allowed me to say my goodbyes to my friend in peace with nothing to worry about. Thank you Bridge hospice for making this a peaceful and pleasant experience.

I have been volunteering for Bridge Hospice, giving companionship to patients since October, 2023. Visiting with patients has so touched my heart in more ways than one. It is truly the highlight of my day when I get to hear stories of their lives growing up, travels, children, grandchildren and much more. We have prayed together, read the Bible, done devotions, laughed, just sat and talked, held hands and watched tv together. I feel VERY blessed that God has allowed me to volunteer as a companion to patients of Bridge Hospice. I'm so grateful for Bridge Hospice and all they do. May God continue to bless such a wonderful, loving, caring and giving organization. If you would love to volunteer, please consider being a companion to someone, it's so much fun and such a blessing to others. If I could I would do this every day. :) :) :) :)
