I loved the gimmicks: belly dancers, fire dishes and our server brought me 3 samples of wine so I could choose my fave.

My coworker and I stopped in for lunch while attending a show at the convention center. The service was great, especially considering how busy it got as the lunch hour progressed. We shared meatballs, hummus, mussels, and each had a cocktail. I had never had a cocktail like that and while I can't recall exactly what was in it, it was incredibly tasty. We walked out full and hugely pleased with our experience.

I sat at the bar and had the best bartender. He gave good options for drinks and things to eat. We loved our experience there. It was my friends first time and for sure not our last. Seen you soon, thank you for your amazing customer service!!

Had a surprise party for my husband and it was perfect! A little loud but we are old and we came in knowing there was a dj and entertainment so not surprised. My 88 year old mother-in-law even danced a little. Food was spectacular and everyone loved it! Thanks to Sheryl for guiding me thru this. She was so kind and nice.

Came here for dinner while at a dance competition with a group of about 16, we were able to get a large table at 8:15PM on a Saturday so we were grateful. The place was on fire (not literally). Lol I can't even begin to tell you what others ordered on the other side of the table. I can just remember those immediately next to me. We ordered the Saganaki, which was perfectly flambéd (literally on fire this time) and delish! Our part of the table ordered lamb shanks, lamb chops and chicken kebabs; they seemed happy with their orders. I ordered the pork kebabs with feta fries. It was a huge portion (even had leftovers for lunch the next day) and had great flavor. As far as service, the waiter was pretty good, given our large size. The place was packed and the belly dancers came around to dance (on tables) and they really make an effort to get the guests engaged. It was very loud, so hard to have a conversation and the food took a while to come out, which is why I think the waiter brought out multiple mortars with their homemade hummus. It was garlicky and delicious, probably the best hummus I've ever had. Overall, a fun night with great food!

Went to Opa yesterday 2/23/26 after at least 10 years now. Had a gift card that I wanted to use. Ended up getting two Grilled Chicken Artichoke to go meals. They were so delicious! Pricey but so well worth it, I went in the morning before 12PM, was nobody there lol, felt like I was the first customer of the day. Friendly staff greeted me when I walked in, asked how I’m doing. I really appreciate the service! On the other hand the parking 🅿️ is a total ripoff…. For under 1 hour I had to pay $8.45… in the morning on a Monday… total rip off and what is a service fee??? That garage is nuts, hope the management gets rich from what I paid…

Came here for a work dinner and had such a fun time here! Not only was the food good but oh my gosh were we entertained. They had a belly dancer who got people to get on the tables and dance and then they'd throw napkins in the air like confetti. Super cool spot and would recommend for a large group!

First time here and it was such an amazing experience. The vibe was impeccable. The music is fun and happy, it's impossible not to feel joyful. The food had great flavor. Ordered chicken kebabs with a side or wild greens (these needed salt and they were ok, won't get them again). Our waitress was so nice and helpful. The place was PACKED, so the service was a little slow, which is understandable. I will be bringing my Arab mom here (i know it's a Greek place, but the ambiance is similar to my Arab roots), she'll love it.

the spinach and feta hummus was literally one of the best things it was so good. Drinks were yum and the service was good. They let us in even though our full party wasn't there because it was freezing outside lol.

Taverna Opa at Pointe Orlando delivered a lively and memorable dining experience. While you do have to pay for parking in the nearby garage, the evening itself was great for a celebration dinner. We chose the family‑style meal, and it was a feast. The warm pita and fresh dips were a great start, followed with a Greek salad and a generous platter of hot appetizers. Honestly, most of us were already full after this. The main meat platter was just as delicious, with everything tasting fresh and well‑seasoned. Only one of the pork skewers (pork souvlaki) was undercooked from the main meat platter, but there was already a lot of food so we didn't gripe too much about it. Toward the end of our meal, the belly dancers came out and added a fun, engaging energy to the atmosphere, especially for anyone who hasn't seen that style of entertainment before. The only downside was that dessert wasn't included in the family‑style menu. Given the price point, it would've been nice to have at least a small dessert included rather than paying extra. Overall, the food was tasty, the portions plentiful, and the atmosphere lively and enjoyable.

I absolutely loved this place — the atmosphere, the music, the joyful vibe, the staff, the food… everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again and again. I truly love the energy of this place: the lively ambiance, great music, amazing dancers, outstanding service, and very good food. An all-around wonderful experience.

Really great food with a lively atmosphere! The vegetarian options were tasty and had a good variety. I was impressed with the Greek lasagna, alternating layers of Greek cheeses, zucchini and potato with a savory tomato sauce. Very unique dish that I hadn’t even heard of during my trip to Greece a few years ago. The service is great, and especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion. The music and vibes are 100% fun.

Taverna Opa is not where you come if you want really good Greek food. Just like the original in Hollywood Florida, Taverna Opa Orlando is where you come if you want to drink, eat pretty OK Greek appetizers (meze) and party. Attractive crowd...lots of bachelorette parties. The tables are STURDY so MFers can dance on them, after drinking ouzo. The DJ played standard, but fun, music...Wobble baby wobble baby wobble baby wobble! Speaking of music, THIS PLACE IS FUCKING LOUD!! If you have sensory processing disorder, don't come here... your ass will leave in a body bag. Remember, Taverna Opa is not where you come if you want really good Greek food. Belly dancers too. Don't forget the belly dancers, shakin' their sugar for 5s, 10s, and 20s. TOO is not excessively expensive... average prices for this part of Orlando. Did I say that Taverna Opa is not where you come if you want really good Greek food? I'm feeling generous...FIVE STARS!!

We went around 4pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was dead. We left around 7pm and the place was extremely busy. (Also keep in mind that dinner takes quite some time.) We chose to do the family style meal so we could try a little of everything. They start with warm pita bread, homemade hummus, and cold appetizers. There was also a big Greek salad. The dips were all absolutely delicious, especially with the pita bread, which was perfectly soft and had delicious spices on it. I loved the hummus the best. It was chunky and had lots of garlic in it. Different from any kind of hummus you buy in stores. Hot appetizers came out next. My three year old scarfed down the Greek meatballs. I had one bite and thought they had great flavor so I could understand why. There wasn't one thing on this plate either that I didn't like. Finally, the main entree of meats came out. Chicken, pork, and beef skewers and lamb chops. I enjoyed the appetizers more than the main meats, but I did find the lamb chops to be amazing. Since we were celebrating a birthday, at the end of the meal the waiters came out to sing. That's when it got really fun. We were all able to get up on the table and dance and at the end throw napkins and yell "Opa." It was so much fun. They do also have belly dancing and other entertainment, but it doesn't start until 7pm. All in all the food was delicious and service was great so I would definitely come back.

Fast service at 5:00 on a Monday! Place to ourselves. Came for happy hour appetizers and drinks. Food was great and drinks were buy one get one. Disappointed in the feta & Ellie's (olives) which only came with 4 olives. Otherwise would recommend all dishes!

This restaurant was good but there are some cons. First with the ambiance, there are napkins all on the floor because every once and a while they throw napkins in the air. The play music in the background but I can be loud to someone with sensitive ears. With the music the have a belly dancer dancing around the restaurant. The service was good! We had a party of 8 so it was hard to get the servers attention but no big deal. The food was great as well. I had the pork suovlaki, very good. no complaints.

Approved by Greeks! What a blast! Food is far better than avg Greek restaurants in America. The staff make everything fun and exciting. There’s music and a belly dancer nightly making it special and a must see! They always have people dancing on tables in true Greek fashion!

If you're looking for a unique dinning experience Taverna Opa Orlando, is the place to go! :) Taverna Opa Orlando, was the best experience I've ever experienced at a restaurant, it was so much fun!. :) The night me and my Mom, went there was a belly dancer named Julianna. Ms. Julianna, brought me, and my Mom up with her to show us some belly dancing moves. Taverna Opa, also, brings the Greek culture to life by dancing on tables, and tossing napkins on the tables. Now on to the food, we order two appetizers, and two entrees. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server was very attentive. We are already planning our next trip back. :)

Good food, EXCELLENT atmosphere. Absolutely will return. Friends who'd been here before brought us here for a night out. I've never had Greek food before so we ordered the family style meal so we could just take what we wanted. There was WAY more food than we could all eat and we have some pretty big eaters. The food was amazing. I only tried one thing I really didn't care for. Not exactly sure what all I ate, but it was tasty. The atmosphere though is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Be prepared, it's loud, boisterous and interactive 😉. The belly dancer even got my 70 yr old husband to dance with her (my kids were SHOCKED). They are all very sweet and, unlike a lot of places like this, they interacted with everybody. If they saw kids up and dancing, they went and danced with them. If they saw old people shimmying with the music, they gave them attention as well. They didn't just cater to the 18-30 crowd. It was also very family friendly. I felt like I'd happened into a Greek wedding reception. Don't come if you intend to eat and run. It's not a quick bite. I'd budget at least 2-3 hours for the experience. Also, I'd check into reservations esp on the weekends. It's a very busy restaurant. 100% will return! ** Also, as I said before, it is LOUD and boisterous. While it's loads of fun for most people, if you have sensory issues it may not be the place for you. I'd spend a bit of time in the front of the resaurant first before being seated to see if you can handle it before being seated. They dance on the tables and toss napkins everywhere so if this would bother you...

A Big Fat Greek Great Experience!! Don't miss it!! As a Greek-American I couldn't wait to write this review raving about the food and experience. We had the lamb chops, spinach pie, meatballs, calamari, artichoke chicken, chicken souvlaki. The loukoumades and the ekmek kataifi for dessert. All 100% authentic and excellent. The music, the the dancing. It definitely felt like I was in Greece. Will be back

You definitely don’t want to miss this experience! Our family visited this amazing restaurant while on vacation in Orlando. The food was excellent! The hummus and Tzatziki appetizers were made in house and were fantastic! All the food was! Our server Katherine was the icing on the cake. She was attentive, considerate of the young children in our party and gave great recommendations.

Fun place for the entire family The octopus is served with onions and capers. Only complaint was it was a very small portion for an appetizer to share. The flaming cheese comes with pita slices. They set the cheese on fire table side. Unfortunately the cheese was crusted hard so you have to eat it fairly fast. The meat platter for two could actually feed 3. I didn’t care for the sausage but everything else was good. The belly dancers perform through the entire restaurant and many people got up on the tables to dance. Most places at The Pointe are 21 and over so having a place to bring young kids is nice

Food, resturant, and entertainment were GREAT. NOT easily accesable with a walker. Very good spot to celebrate. Unfortunately the location is on the 2nd floor and we found it difficult to locate the elevators. Escalators not compatable. Once we located elevator in back near garage enterance we were able to make our way to the resturant. ALSO the staff was friendly and attentative. They should install signage to help guide those of us with mobility cahllenges to the elevator and enterance on the 2nd floor.

Great for a casual night out Great for a casual night out, good fun bar. Yes it is in the middle of a tourist area but we did not feel as if we were in a tourist trap. Bar staff took time to talk and interface with us. Max is great and was a pleasure to meet. Went more than once, on a quiet afternoon spent a long time talking with the managers. Will be going back on our next visit, especially at happy hour!

Flavorful, fun, welcoming dinner. My wife and I had a great time here. The entertainment is interactive and very friendly. The wait staff uses teamwork to take care of you. The food was really good I had the 1/2 marinated chicken and my wife had the shrimp and rice dish both were really good and nicely presented. The lemon potatoes were the best we ever had.
