Taverna Opa at Pointe Orlando delivered a lively and memorable dining experience. While you do have to pay for parking in the nearby garage, the evening itself was great for a celebration dinner.
We chose the family‑style meal, and it was a feast. The warm pita and fresh dips were a great start, followed with a Greek salad and a generous platter of hot appetizers. Honestly, most of us were already full after this. The main meat platter was just as delicious, with everything tasting fresh and well‑seasoned. Only one of the pork skewers (pork souvlaki) was undercooked from the main meat platter, but there was already a lot of food so we didn't gripe too much about it.
Toward the end of our meal, the belly dancers came out and added a fun, engaging energy to the atmosphere, especially for anyone who hasn't seen that style of entertainment before.
The only downside was that dessert wasn't included in the family‑style menu. Given the price point, it would've been nice to have at least a small dessert included rather than paying extra.
Overall, the food was tasty, the portions plentiful, and the atmosphere lively and enjoyable.
