I really never have had a bad experience with him. I have been going to him for about 18 years now. I was first on the cream and then went to the pellets. Have only been on the pellets for the last 2 years and wish I would have put my fears aside and done it sooner. He will not pressure you to do anything you don't want to do. When I lived in Denver, I went to Dr. Bruice for HRT. Excellent experience. I especially appreciated that he took the time to talk to me about my symptoms and dialed in the right prescription for me. A doctor, Bruce Kenton office I receive three services. My original service was for and still is for hormonal help (life saver). Dr Bruice is amazing, especially for peri-menopausal women who need real solutions. Even if you have a likable primary doctor, I say, don’t waste your time with them, they are not experts for issues like these, the likelihood they will provide meaningful help if low. Instead, go to Dr B, he knows all things hormonal. I was mildly hypothyroid, my primary doctor didn’t determine this, but Dr B did find this and now I’m on a very low dose of meds and I feel a million times better. He is also treating my peri menopausal symptoms and helping me with other related issues. Highly recommend Dr Bruice!

When we met Dr Bruice, we had just retired and found ourselves without the energy to do all the things we looked forward to doing. Dr Bruice is attentive and very good at his profession. He has extensive experience and knowledge with male and female hormones and testosterone maintenance. He also is excellent with the incision for the biological hormones. I tried a med spa nurse practitioner and the incision hit my sciatic nerve which caused me 4 months of pain. Why not have a surgeon with 20 plus years of hormone experience for the same price as a med spa.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Bruice and his knowledge of bioidentical hormones (all forms - creams, pellets, patches, injections, micronized pills, etc) and his willingness to help patients find REAL relief based on what fits them best. I’m a 48-year-old female who has been diagnosed with ME/CFS, PEM, autoimmune disorder, mitochondrial disorder, and the list goes on and on. I’ve been suffering for 7+ years and the more doctors I saw, the more meds I was prescribed, and the worse I felt. I have always been a healthy, fit human. But around 40, something big changed for me. I have sensed for a long time it was hormonal but despite being tested by doctors, everyone said I was fine in that dept. But I just knew that part of my issues had to be hormonal. I started researching hormones and the more I read, the more I wanted to find a doctor who knew bioidentical hormones. Dr. Bruice is a certified OBGYN. I think you get better care with him because he’s not with insurance and he’s not in the pockets of big pharma. He’s looking out for the best options for his patients and he KNOWS hormones. This is so key to getting it right for each person. I’ve been working with Dr. Bruice for six months. I started feeling huge relief in just weeks of working with him and I’ve continued to tweak as needed. I started sleeping through the night right away. Hot flushes disappeared. My cognitive function came back in life changing ways. My chronic joint pain went away within a month. My energy came back, although still working to increase this. Libido - whoa, didn’t know that was still alive. Lost so much weight - especially around my middle. My chronically red face all the sudden went away and my skin was glowing and more youthful than ever. My dry skin was no more. My hair was shiny. I felt more calm, less sad, more at peace. Working with Dr. Bruice has been the easiest medical experience I’ve ever had and yet it’s also given me the biggest relief. I’m off all my other pharma meds, and I finally see ME again. I thought I was gone forever. Other doctors wrote me off, said I was a woman and was supposed to feel fat, sick and nearly dead. Dr. Bruice healed me, from the inside out. Doctors don’t study hormones in school - so most doctors will not be able to help you, even if they want to. But Dr. Bruice learned from the wise ones before him and has been working and honing his craft for 25 years. This cannot be underestimated. I’m sure I’m the biggest pain in his ass, because I’m relentless about my health. But he is patient, smart and works with me to continue to dial everything in. I’m so grateful for Dr. Bruice. He has changed my life. BTW, I have now read over a dozen books on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and have extensively studied peptides and GLP-1s as well. I’ve never had issues with overeating or emotional eating and was wary of the GLP-1s that Dr. Bruice said could help with weight. But I was having so much success with Dr. Bruice and my hormones that I got curious about the GLP-1s and started researching peptides and how these meds work. I was blown away by what I found and was willing to give it a try. Because I didn’t need an appetite suppressant, Dr. Bruice let me adjust my dose lower as needed, instead of what is normally recommended. And the pounds have just melted off. This peptide, on top of balanced hormones, has literally just given my body the signal it needed to metabolize food the way it was meant to. And in three months, I’ve lost 40 lbs and 10 inches around my waist. Clothes fit my body now. I feel good. So good. I cannot recommend the GLP-1s enough on top of the hormones. For me it has been more cost effective because I take smaller doses so it stretches out the meds and thus the price.

Needing a boost of testosterone in your life can be an awkward thing to discuss, but Dr Bruice not only makes it an enjoyable experience but gets results! Dr Bruice is also amazingly responsive via email which I found to be a great help & comfort in a time when getting responses from providers is difficult if not impossible. His office assistant Dezi is also a delight and incredibly accommodating & responsive as well! All the stars!!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Bruice for about 9 years now and he has improved the quality of our lives tenfold. He starts out by balancing your hormones, determined by lab work, always stressing to contact him by email if we have any problems or questions. I have always felt that he is interested in making sure that he addresses any problem or concern you have. My Journey to Becoming a Patient: I met Dr. Bruice over two years ago, following a hysterectomy at 40 after enduring over 20 years of a debilitating condition. When I say debilitating, I mean it – my quality of life had been reduced to just 20%. While the surgery addressed the disease itself, the hormonal patch my surgeon prescribed (which I was told I’d need for most of my life) was inadequate for someone my age. Not only did it irritate my skin, but I also suffered from night sweats, mood swings, fatigue, dietary changes, muscle soreness, and joint pain. When I sought further help, I was disheartened to hear from my surgeon that insurance wouldn't cover a stronger dose, and there weren’t any viable alternatives. Frustrated but determined, I began my search for the best hormone replacement specialist in the city, and that’s when I found Dr. Bruice. He takes the time to listen, empathize, and provide thoughtful solutions, adjusting treatments as needed. Dr Bruice is Top Notch. i no longer hot flashes. My mood is stabilized, I get more sleep and have more energy now. My symptoms were very bad prior to his care. I highly recommend going to him !

I’ve been seeing Dr Bruice for 16 years now and I’ve been very happy with him as a doctor and the results I get from the hormone replacement cream he has prescribed for me. He cares about how I feel and I really believe he wants me to have the greatest quality of life. I am 64 years old and I honestly think that being on this hormone cream has helped me in so many ways. I have remained lean and trim, I have great muscle mass and no bone issues, I have not had any hot flashes or night sweats since I started and I’m not an emotional mess like it was before. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

Dr Bruice has been a great experience over the last few years. I find him to be very communicative and informative. He is current on new technology and medications. He will often discuss what is new in his field on topics he has researched well. He will only suggest treatments that are industry accepted and tested. The only regret I have about seeing Dr Bruice is that I didn’t do this sooner. So often the message from our insurance doctors is “yep, you’re getting older..it’s part of it” or here’s an estrogen patch. No tests or evaluation or goal of really making you feel great cause “they aren’t medically indicated”-translation-you’re not sick enough for insurance to cover tests and treatment…tired and chubby and not sleeping is “normal” at your age. If you aren’t ready to just give in to aging and live life exhausted and you want to feel better than “not sick”..make the appointment and see doctor Bruice. Stop letting insurance companies decide what is “good enough” in your 50s and beyond. The science is there and you deserve it. I have energy, a balanced mood, and I’m my normal weight (which is about 60lbs lighter than I was after the pandemic years)

So far I've only seen Dr Bruice once, but I had a great experience and the treatment has been a total game changer. A couple weeks after my visit I saw a massive change in a number of areas, but for me the biggest wins were getting rid of the brain fog and lack of motivation - I'd been dealing with this and more for years and just couldn't shake it.

I have been seeing Dr. Bruice for my hormone balance and replacement for over 10 years. Because of his care and expertise, I am able to live my best life free of many of the miserable side effects of menopause and hormone imbalance. My husband has seen how much more emotionally and physically stabilized I've become and even insisted I continue under Dr. Bruice's care, even after our insurance dropped him. Go see Dr. Bruice! I wasn’t feeling like myself. I couldn’t sleep. Brain fog. Weight gain. Agitation. No libido. Not anymore! All of these things have been resolved. All of them. We need to normalize talking about menopause, what it does to our bodies/brain and how it makes us feel. Dr. Bruice listened to me and dialed in the correct hormones which helped me feel like myself again. Going to pellets has been transformational. I am back! Thank you, Dr. Bruice.

After being referred by a friend, I visited Dr. Bruice 8 months ago. At first I was hesitant since the office doesn't take insurance and it isn't a cheap visit(s). HOWEVER.... best money I have spent in a decade!!!! And I have since learned that most insurance companies don't cover most hormone treatments. My pre-menopausal symptoms have subsided with the hormone lotion and I have lost 20 (maybe 25 lbs) since my visit. I can't thank Dr. Bruice enough for his help and I am 100% believer in his service! I will refer any friend to his office.

I hope this review encourages other people to give Dr. Bruice the opportunity to help them - like similar reviews posted by his patients did for me. Roughly 5 month after I started working with Dr. Bruice I have lost the many extra pounds I gained and am feeling healthy and energized again. I have referred countless friends (male and female) to him as everyone has been asking what I did to look this well. I shy away from calling any doctor a miracle worker - as I believe the individual has to contribute their part to make the most of the treatment prescribed by a doctor. However, I will state that Dr. Bruice has been the most effective, empathetic and result driven practitioner I have met in recent years.

I came to Dr. Bruice after 2 years of working with doctors trying to figure out why I was so lethargic, chronically sleeping, gaining weight despite having no appetite and working out. Dr. Bruice was the first doctor to listen to me and treat me based on my symptoms, not generic broad tests.

After a chemo radiation treatment I was feeling all the side effects of sudden menopause. Not fun at all! I was looking for HRT with creams since my liver had done a lot of work during the cancer treatment. I asked around and a blessed soul took the time to refer me to Dr Bruice. Oh how I wish I'd seen Dr. Bruice sooner! I suffered for 7 years from terrible menopause symptoms, spent so much money on herbal remedies that did no good. Then I tried the conventional route with a patch from my gyno that gave me terrible side effects (which were permanent!). Finally going the bio identical route w/ Dr. Bruice has given me relief w/ no side effects. Just a word to the wise: the cream can be harmful to your pets so it's best to go with the pellets.

Dr. Bruice is absolutely amazing! Before going to see him, I suffered from terrible hot flashes and profuse sweating. I was unable to sleep through the night for almost a year. A few days after my first visit, all of those awful symptoms were completely gone. My only regret is not seeing him sooner. He is a great doctor who actually listens and cares. I could not be happier! Life changing!
