Do your research! Dr Olaru and his team (Bailey and Nissa) are the best you will find. Hands down! I have been in the dentist and oral surgeons chair many times throughout my life, starting with an accident I had when I was in fourth grade. Since then, I have had 3 front implants, gum grafts, root canals, teeth extractions, caps and much drilling. My mouth needed expert care with someone I could trust to be honest with me about what I needed. I had several consultations prior to going to Mountainside Oral. All of them said they would do whatever I wanted and provided me with an estimate of cost and zero education and consultation about the procedure or my specific concerns. When I first went to visit Dr. Olaru he thoroughly examined my mouth, took extensive pictures and X-rays. He consulted with a highly educated surgeon in California and he took his time to discuss my specific concerns and options. He showed me on a TV screen as he explained everything thoroughly. I knew after our meeting that I wanted him to be the one working in my mouth. My case was complicated and needed special care from someone who had integrity and would provide top quality! For over a year he worked on my mouth and he always made me feel secure and confidant. His entire team has been so nice, I actually liked going in for a visit. They did not hurry the procedure, the concern was longevity, assuring everything was secure and cosmetically uniform! I have 4 prosthetics, upper and lower back quadrant. I can eat anything I want now! They now feel like my own teeth. I am very happy with my entire experience and am so glad I chose Dr. Olaru and his team! Your mouth and teeth are so important to your health and confidence! Mountainside Oral listens to your needs and gives you top quality! Choose Dr. Olaru and you will not be disappointed. Don't waste your time with the surgeons or cooperate cash cows that tell you what you want to hear. When you choose Olaru and his team, you choose the best and they treat you like gold! I would like to provide a higher rating than just 5 stars. Dr. Olaru earns it every time I am in his office. He is the most competent and compassionate Dentist/Oral surgeon I have ever had work on my teeth. My past experience with my first implant was painful and never completed correctly. I moved to CDA area dreading having to find a new dentist. Dr . Orlaru became my choice in dentistry by recommendation. Since that time in 2017 he has fixed and completed my old implant, and provided me with a second implant pain free with the latest procedures and techniques. I have been going to Dr. Olaru since 2017. In 2018 I had gum graft surgery for eight teeth on my lower left side. The most painful part was the blood draw. After the surgery, over the next week, there was only mild discomfort. I called the office on July 4th because a stitch broke. I did not leave a message, but Dr. Olaru called me back from the caller ID. He was in the office and asked me to come by just to be safe. There were no issues at all with the graft and it continues to be a great success; even six years after the surgery. You will not find a more caring and dedicated staff. They truly treat you like family!

Dr. Olaru at Mountainside Oral Care, implantology is one of the most professional, kind, caring persons I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting! I was in despaired having been told by 3 dentists my tooth #28, holding a bridge in place had to be extracted immediately. Instead of talking me into 2 implants, I could not afford, he agreed it was possible to save it! He and his lovely assistant were so kind and very generous with their time. He said he knew a Dr at Northwest Endodontics that was the very Best.. he personally walked me upstairs to introduce me! She is a miracle worker! Devised an intensely complicated surgical procedure and, SAVED the essential tooth! NO PAIN, Short recovery! I’m SO Grateful for his kindness and professionalism!!!

If you’re tired of the “corporate” type dental care businesses and are looking for an alternative, then Mountainside is the place you need!! From the moment you book your appointment and from the receptionist to the Doctor, this staff cares about your health and your experience! I’ve had dental care from some “big” name brands. I ended up spending MORE money and received HORRIBLE care/results with them because they simply don’t care! You will NOT be disappointed with your care and results from Mountainside. I HATE writing business reviews, but I’m really excited to write this one! In today’s world, it is SOOO hard to get this quality of service and care! Not to mention, the prices at Mountainside were far better than the last two “cheaper” corporate dentists that I’ve been to! I really can’t say enough to express my gratitude to this staff. If you are looking for a great oral surgeon, this place and staff are awesome and they have a family type vibe which I loved! Dr. Olaru is a fantastic oral surgeon. He truly does amazing work and best of all he cares about his patients. My experience here went smoothly from start to finish. I wouldn't ever recommend another surgeon!! My 12 year old son needed some specialty work that the general dentist he was seeing couldn’t complete. We had trouble getting anyone to allow us to make an appointment with them because of Medicaid. My son was in some pain and Dr Olaru went out of his way to get him in to see what was going on. He and his staff were very attentive and gave very personal care and attention to us and gave us honest feedback. My husband and I were so impressed with his concern for our son that we decided to pay for him to do it instead of having Medicaid dictate where he went. I highly recommend this office! Refreshing having a dentist take more personal interest in your care!

Claire was absolutely fantastic. Very caring and accommodating. We were visiting the resort on vacation and my wife had a major issue with a previous root canal. I went in to look into getting my wisdom tooth extracted. I had been putting off getting my tooth extracted due to being scared. After waking up in the middle of the night from severe pain I called multiple offices trying to get an appointment as soon as possible. Mountain side worked with me to get previous x-rays and a same day appointment. Once I was seen they promptly made an extraction appointment for the next day. When I arrived for the extraction appointment I was very nervous and scared about the pain. They made me feel very comfortable and kept checking in to make sure I was okay.
