Went on a walking tour in Chester with Gareth, he is very friendly and approachable, and he shares his knowledge of both food and local heritage with genuine passion and positivity. I highly recommend this experience!

I have just celebrated my 50th Birthday and wanted to have a day out with friends in Liverpool to continue with the celebrations but doing something a bit different. I found Walking Food Tours on instagram and booked. I can highly recommend going on the food and drink tour - what a fantastic experience Gareth was a brilliant host, friendly, informative and upbeat. We ventured to excellent venues in areas we wouldn’t have gone to and had plenty of tasty delicious food and drinks, we did not go hungry! Will definitely go back to the places we visited and we will book again as they do other tours with different venues! A great way to spend the day and value for money too.

Me, my husband and our teenage son had a brilliant time with Gareth in Manchester on Saturday. Despite working in the city, Gareth took us to unique places I'd never been to and had great and interesting facts along the way. We all enjoyed each of the locations and the different dishes Gareth selected. I can't recommend it highly enough and we are already planning our second tour in Chester!

We had a really wonderful afternoon on our Liverpool food tour. The venues were fantastic, delicious food and Paul, our guide, was very knowledgeable. Gareth communicated about the tour before and even gave us tips for Liverpool after our tour too. An absolutely amazing tour which we 100% recommend.

What a great time! Had a lovely tour of Shrewsbury- with our host / tour guide, Heather. She was friendly and funny and very informative…. Pointing out many places of interest and giving us historical & interesting facts along the way. The food and drink stops were really good too! My favourite was Tanners, the wine merchants, and also the Gin tasting. Had plenty to eat & drink - and was a really fun way of visiting a town I had never been to before.

Thanks for a fab evening Gareth⁩ Boyd and Heather Hiley⁩. You did it again …. Scrummy food, great company and interesting places with intriguing histories. Already looking forward to the next one

We really enjoyed our food tour of Liverpool with Mikey. It was great to try some places we might otherwise have walked past, and we left thoroughly stuffed with some amazing foods. We especially enjoyed the restaurants where staff took the time to tell us more about their food and drink and talk us through what we were sampling. Mikey shared some interesting facts about the city's history as well as recommending many more places we could try. We're already planning our next visit so we can get started on the list!
