Worth every penny! I was so lucky to fit into Suburban Solutions' schedule for a late June move in DC. The pricing was similar to other companies I received quotes from, but what set them apart was their thorough and upfront communication. Brian Fitzgerald covered every detail in his pre-move emails and texts, and I knew right away I was in good hands. Frankly speaking, I was very stressed leading up to my move - cramming things into boxes, worried about how many boxes I had, and concerned my sofa may not fit into the elevator at my new apartment building. To top it off, my moving day was the hottest day of the summer! Despite all of my concerns, Brian and Cortez made the move look easy. They were on time, communicative, efficient, respectful of my belongings, and pleasant to be around. I was constantly blown away throughout the experience as I watched how intentionally they wrapped furniture, stacked boxes, or asked for my preferences on where something should go. I'd say the stars aligned for a perfect moving day, but I think Brian and Cortez were just that good! I will 100% use again for my future moves.

This was a great experience from the get-go. We called for an estimate and got a callback the same day. Throughout the entire process our questions were answered in a timely manner. The estimate was fair and accurate. We had 4 men with our move and they loaded and unloaded very quickly. They always checked in to see what room things were going to and they treated our possessions gently (no one threw things around). They were respectful and careful. A fantastic moving experience, which is not something I ever expected. Brian was quick and thorough in his estimate and clear in his communications before the day of the move, and even accommodated a late date-change for us. On the day, Shaun, Pedro, Ty, Luis (and one other guy whose name I lost, sorry!) were amazing. They handled everything efficiently and carefully, and they were great to work with. Shaun had great advice for setting everything up to be most advantageous, the guys worked together very well, and the move went as smoothly as I could have hoped and ended up costing on the low end of the very accurate estimate. I could not have asked for better movers ! Lazaro and Darren came professionally dressed, introduced themselves, were well prepared with dollies and other equipment,and worked their tails off for 5 1/2 hours !!! Last night at 7:45 pm I called Brian F. for help moving some items out of a storage unit. I had previously arranged this with ReSupply -Habitat for Humanity's service for items they cannot use in their ReStores. They confirmed the night before, that morning, at 2 pm, at 3 pm, at 3:30 pm and at 3:48 pm they said they weren't coming. This was already after canceling the first day and moving the pick-up out 3 days. Needless to say I was in a sweat. The unit had to be empty the day ReSupply bagged on me. I got a 1 day extension from the storage facility to avoid paying for another full month. So - back to Brian at Suburban Solutions. He answered his personal phone at 7:45pm and was personable and promised they would help. Today (31 Aug 2023) at 1:30 pm, he and 3 fellows showed up as promised at the storage facility and took away some heavy furniture and drove it off to be donated. Above and beyond what I wished for... I am very happy. A+ Brian!

These folks just helped me downsize from a single home to a two bedroom apartment. The estimating and booking process was easy. Four movers showed up on time. All four were courteous and took great care with my possession. I deducted one star because they left five or six items behind that were included in the scope of work.

Steve and his crew deserve 5 stars in terms of their competence, efficiency, and care in handling our furniture. They did a great job. I docked a star because they came an hour late. We were repeat clients. They moved us years ago to Arlington from DC and when we moved back this year to DC we didn't consider other movers. If and when we move again we will certainly hire Suburban Solutions again. Highly recommended.

While this company was highly recommended by a friend, they will become my highly recommended moving company for anyone in the DMV area. From my first interaction with the owner to the last drop off performed (5 days later), the service was impeccable! This was a very difficult move for my elderly eclectic family member who had to be uprooted from a home she loved. In addition to this strenuous move, my father also downsized and moving into a temporary home. Brian (owner) organized the move into various parts to reduce the stress on my family, which helped a lot and provided his expertise on moving seniors. The day of staff were very hospitable, and took great care in ensuring no damage occurred or items broken. I have plenty of friends and family with horror stories attributed to their moves, but that's not my testimony. I used Suburban Solutions for a recent move and added on packing services. When I tell you the packing service was the best money I've ever spent in my life, I am deadly serious. Good thing I had the presence of mind to pack a suitcase of stuff we'd need (there was one night between the pack and the move) because these dudes came through my house like a very organized hurricane that just blew everything that wasn't nailed down into boxes. They wrapped every piece of china in layers of packing paper and arranged it in some magical way so that not one dish broke. They wrapped my unbreakable Corelle dishes from Target the EXACT SAME WAY. My entire four-bedroom house was packed in 4.5 hours. The move itself took place the next day and again the team was extremely punctual and professional. They took amazing care in bringing everything in and making sure it was placed in the right room. And once again, they got the job done in less time (and for less money) than I was originally quoted. And yes, side note, if you work with Bobby on the initial estimate, he is almost certainly going to tell you that the job is going to take longer, be more difficult, and cost more than it will actually end up being in reality. Don't worry about it, the guys who actually show up to do the job will do better than that! Huge shout out to Fred, Isaiah, Justin, Kurt, Ford, and the rest of the team...you guys were the real MVPs making a stressful time far less so!

Isaiah, the crew chief , and 6 more amazing young men showed up at our house on Wednesday to pack our house and returned Thursday to put everything on the trucks and move our belongings to storage. This move has been very stressful for us and these men made this final part so stressless for us. They were extremely polite and treated our belongings like they were their own. They were respectful and pleasant and it was obvious how well they enjoyed working together. I can't say enough wonderful things about these young men. I look forward to seeing them in a few months when our new house is ready. We have moved many times and this is the first time we used Suburban Solutions. From my first call to them several weeks ago until the trucks pulled away from my house yesterday they have been nothing but fabulous. I highly recommend this moving company and the wonderful people they have working for them.

Could not have been happier with Suburban Solutions. We had a three location moving job (my partner's house, my house, and our new apartment). I can't speak to the moving experience. I can say that the planning team were extremely responsive and set up a call to run a virtual inventory with me. Unfortunately they were unable to accommodate my schedule due to their other commitments, and my lack of flexibility. It was great they were up front about this rather than try to squeeze me in and deliver a less than satisfactory service and they pointed me towards another provider instead. Great service despite there being no business at the end for their troubles. Very much appreciate the help.

We were very pleased with the difficult move that Lamar and his team of 4 had to manage. We have *a lot* of heavy stuff that needed to be moved from a 6th floor apt w/ a small freight elevator to a 3-story walk-up (going up 4 flights as they unloaded truck at basement level). Not only was the team fast, efficient, and strategic about best practices, but they were also friendly, positive, and took excellent care of our things. We would highly recommend Suburban Solutions, especially for difficult moves like ours where brains and braun are critical. Despite the challenges of our move, they stayed really tight with estimate by making on-site decisions, like moving a couch down the stairs vs. waiting for the freight to unload.

We hired them for our move two days ago and they were absolutely great. They came right on time, they were all wearing masks and keeping a COVID-appropriate distance from us, and were all extremely nice and friendly (Jeff, Wayne, Starsky and Vaughndale).. They wrapped up our furniture carefully and moved all our items with care. I also couldn't believe how quick they were! Due to their efficiency it actually ended up being a bit cheaper than the quote. Would absolutely use them again.

I have used Suburban Solution 3 times in 10 years. My most recent move from Laurel MD to Charlotte NC is my last move with the company. Darrel and the Maryland team were very punctual, respectful and faster. They wrap what they could and handle all of my furniture with care. Darrel and the Charlotte team move my pieces to my final destination as surburan and they even reassembled all my pieces. The only issue I had was one of my vases broke during the move but outside of that they all did a good job.

I didn't actually use their services, but they were definitely very responsive and helpful after a horrendous experience with another moving company (A-Anytime Movers; I gave them a nasty 1-star review). Long story short, they were supposed to come in the morning but they mistakenly booked me for an afternoon slot. I tried calling them multiple times, but it kept going to voicemail and I never got a response from them until it was too late ... absolutely unacceptable. Suburban Solutions was one of the 10 companies I received a quote from in my initial search for movers. They weren't the cheapest, but I felt it was a reasonable and competitive rate to move the contents of a small 1 bedroom apt into a storage unit ($135/hr with 2-hr minimum + $105 truck fee). The cool thing is that if you go over the minimum, they round-up the rate by the nearest MINUTE, not quarter-hour or half-hour like almost all other moving companies. Thus, you don't have to deal with movers running the clock a several minutes just so they can round-up a quarter/half-hour. Plus, their quote was the most detailed and organized one I had ever received, and I felt it was a nice touch that the manager Brian emailed/texted his direct phone number instead of hiding behind some generic company phone line that nobody answers like Anytime Movers. On moving day when Anytime Movers failed to show up, Suburban Solutions was the first company I contacted to see if they had any last-minute availability. Unfortunately they didn't have any, but Brian was kind enough to text me and give me a pointer on how to find help. I really appreciated that. Although I didn't use the service he recommended, I was miraculously able to find another company that showed up within 30 minutes and completed my move successfully. I picked Anytime Movers because they had the cheapest rate, but now I completely regret that. It's obvious they have to cut corners somewhere. I really don't understand how they have so many 5-star reviews on Yelp and Google. Their manager tried to pay for the partial cost of my move with the other company, but I declined. I wasn't going to get paid off not to write a negative review. I will definitely contact Suburban Solutions if I have to move again.

They moved me this morning, and my team of three was just fantastic. Moving me from Silver Spring to Columbia took 3.25 hours, and that includes travel time, which meant they came in under the estimate. It was so hot and humid, and not once did they seem to slow down because of it. They also did not flinch when my condo management didn't have the elevators ready for move out, which probably slowed the process down for a bit. For Covid they all wore masks the entire time. I would highly recommend them to anyone (and have actually already told a few people about them).

Had a move a couple weeks ago with this company and it was excellent. Dara and Darrel came on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They were even able to get large furniture out of a small space without causing the slightest bit of damage to the home or the furniture. They made a very stressful day less stressful. They also did junk removal so I didn't have to use a separate company for this. From the jump, i knew that Suburban Solutions was the company to go with for our HHG move. Brian Fitzgerald, the owner, was very communicative, honest, and understanding to our needs. I underestimated the amount of things we had in our home and thought one 26ft and 3 guys would be enough. He said a 26ft and a 16ft would be more accurate... Boy was he right. His quote was spot on with no hidden fees or gimmicks like the horror stories I have read on other companies. They men that showed were all awesome, courteous, professional, and super fast. I only have fantastic things to say about Suburban Solutions. I would highly recommend their moving services. The pre-move communication was excellent. Not only were they flexible with time/moving date, but they were willing to offer various pricing options to accommodate my move. (Their pricing options were significantly lower than other moving companies.) On the day of the move, they estimated an arrival time of 10:00 - 10:30 am and I received a text message at exactly 10:00 am giving me a 20 minute ETA. They were swift and careful with move-out and move-in. The moving team (Sean and Isaiah) were personable, professional, and great to work with.

After our first moving company cancelled due to the pandemic, we were worried we would have to move with just two pair of hands and a truck. But Suburban Solutions stepped up and did a fantastic job! Communication was clear from the time I asked for a quote and I got several check-in calls prior to the day of the move to make sure they had the right addresses, inventory list, and other details. The movers were on time and worked very efficiently, and finished moving everything in record time despite having to hoist furniture and heavy boxes up several flights of stairs. I wish I could give them 6 stars! Lamar and Tyler went above and beyond, their energy and positive attitude was infectious and they moved everything so quickly (even with 3+ floors in our house). They wrapped EVERYTHING. We're still unpacking but everything seems to be fine with very minimal damages to anything. Lamar especially kept everyone spirits up throughout the day and that alone made the move so much easier because he kept everyone motivated! Moving is never fun, but these guys made it so easy and were SO kind and helpful- I'd dare to say we had fun moving. Amazing job, would definitely hire again!

I used Suburban Solutions to move from Rockville to Gaithersburg today and they were great! Josh, James, Dara, and Eddie were pleasant and very efficient. I some furniture in a loft room that I thought would be really hard to move down, but they handled it in seconds. As far as I can tell, nothing was damaged. I'm a satisfied customer. I needed some junk removed and from start to finish they were great. I made contact with them on Saturday and Sunday they were there to pickup my junk and they even called and asked if they could come early because they had finished up a previous job early. Great move today with Josh and James of Suburban. I rarely write reviews, let alone on same day as the service. I had a simple part 2 of a move to move out some extra furniture to clear apartment at Palisades Apt in Bethesda MD. The sales guy Brian was solid and prompt with a simple bid with clear numbers. At first I wanted stuff to be donated to Wider Circle. The ops person gave me an email over weekend to confirm Monday 10am-12pm slots. I think her name was Andrea. Last minute I had a change because Wider Circle was closed due to virus for donations. Brian handled it well by providing a solution and cost was actually a bit lower. The guys showed up Mon 10am on-time. They were smooth, polite, fast and got the job done. My stress is now reduced and I can check off that last box. Thanks guys!

After hearing about experiences my parents had with movers from other companies, I was very worried about how the day would go. Your team did an excellent job. My numerous wooden furniture items (curio cabinets, buffets, china cabinets, secretary desks, etc) were very well taken care of. They took great care on the hardwood floors and helped us ensure all furniture pieces had felt pads on the bottom that we wanted This was a partial move from Linthicum to Fulton, MD with a 3-man crew and a full 20-ft truck and took 3.5 hours. Worth every penny to just sit there and watch. Suburban Solutions was recommended by our realtor. They were easy to get a hold of with a phone call and followed up with detailed information via email. Brian answered my numerous questions promptly. I had the movers do a few extra things - moving beds around rooms, bringing a treadmill up from the basement, etc. Again, no task was too big/small. Thank you very much.

Update on 2/25/2020: I called them again for a move. We were moving just across the lake to a 3BR so my Mom could move up from St. Mary's Co. and live with us. Once again, they knew what questions to ask before the move, and they were in touch leading up to the date. They arrived in good time this morning and got the entire move done in only three hours! They took great care with our stuff, yet kept going at a good pace. Joshua, James, and Marshall were totally professional, courteous, and responsive. They asked questions, took direction, and thought of things I hadn't. They wrapped up the furniture and unwrapped it at the new place. They made sure to leave no trash behind. And even though I wasn't completely packed up, they helped me get things ready to go. Now that my son and I are moved, we're going to book Suburban Solutions to remove large trash items from our old place, and then to move my Mom next month. So, basically, call them and then you can pretty much relax. Great value and top quality! I will call them first from now on! Whether it's 1,000 yards or 1,000 miles, moving is still a pain. While my move was a short distance, and I could handle the boxes and small stuff myself, I really needed some help with the furniture. I looked on Yelp! to find the better-rated companies. I settled on Suburban Solutions because they answered my call promptly, made the process of ordering super easy, and were very courteous and clear on the phone. The two young men they sent were prompt, neat, courteous and really knew their stuff. They got my move finished in less than the two hours allotted; in fact they were done in less than 90 minutes! I am extremely happy with the job they did. They took great care with each piece. They were careful to put everything where I wanted it and even set up the bed exactly the way I needed. I had already packed my belongings without the help of my guys on my moving day. But, the guys came on time and was very quick with loading and unloading the moving truck. It was a very efficient move!

My family used Suburban Solutions for an interstate move this Summer and the moving teams that we had were amazing! We moved between 3 bedroom houses and filled up a 17ft box truck. Brian gave us a flat rate quote so that it wouldn't matter how long it took to load or unload. It was so helpful to have 6 people show up for loading up the truck, especially with the rain forecast on our move-out day. The teams seemed to handle our belongings well, even while moving quickly, and we have not found any damage after unpacking most of the boxes. There is one unopened box that sounds like it has a broken glassware, but it's likely due to our packing. At the destination there was a local team of only 3, so unloading took a little longer. But, even with it being the dead of Summer they didn't cut corners and made sure everything was set up according to our preferences. The crew leader Eric was really friendly, was attentive to our requests and questions, and even took a little time to let our 4yr old son take some pictures with the truck. Thanks to the whole Suburban Solutions team!

I needed to move my daughter's stuff from a storage unit to an apartment, both in DC. Found Brian and suburban solutions on Yelp and would not only use their services again but also highly recommend them. Brian was most flexible with date as the storage cube key was misplaced by usps so we had to reschedule until it was found. His rates were the best, most reasonable of the quotes we received. Dara arrived on time and did a great job of emptying the cube and moving cartons into her apartment. By the time I woke up at home in California my daughter's move was well on its way without a single sos call to me from her. Many thanks Brian and Dara. We ll be back with more moves.

Steve and Danny arrived to their designated location at the time they said they would. Greeted us with a smile and a positive attitude. When they arrived at my friend's apartment, they wrapped and packaged everything in a fast and professional manner. I would recommend using their services to friends and family. 5/5 will call them up again for future moving services.

They were friendly, fast, and careful with my belongings. Nothing was broken and we were able to move everything in less than the estimated time frame. I really appreciated all the care they took especially with my few "fragile" items, and a few boxes that needed to be placed at the front of my storage locker for easy access. These guys are top-notch. Scheduling with HQ (the owner Brian) was seamless and super easy. I couldn't have been happier with Suburban Solutions. We had a very large local move in Baltimore of a 4,500 sq foot home. First, scheduling online and then working directly with Brian to schedule was extremely quick & simple. They had no problem accommodating our schedule (which we booked ~ 3 weeks out). Second, their estimate was extremely close to what the final bill was. Their pricing was very competitive. Finally, the movers themselves were fantastic. Lead by Steve and supported by Eddie, Josh, Dre, Cayden, Daia, DJ, Armostrong & Hutch over the two days. They were extremely polite, hard working, respectful of our property, and very upbeat and positive the entire time. Can't go wrong with these guys.

We used Suburban Solutions to move things from one location into two locations. The crew we had, led by Josh, did a great job. The guys were super friendly. They were very careful with our furniture and moved at a speedy rate, which we appreciated since we pay by the hour. They also brought a third man, even though we had only contracted for two guys. If you use them, ask for Josh's crew!!!

Pros: - Overall, the men did a good job on my move. - Movers were very nice and helpful with whatever I needed. - They worked diligently and in a time-efficient manner, which is important because you're charged by the hour. - Handled miscommunication nicely. Cons: - I'm not a fan of people using my bathroom without asking me (and one of the guys did that). - One of my tables was scratched and kind of peeled on the surface, but I forgot to report the scratch within the alotted 10-days mentioned in their policy, so I didn't ask for any compensation. - There were 3 pieces of furniture that they forgot to take the plastic off of when we were finishing up the unloading process in the new residence. I could tell they were exhausted and ready to dip. - Minor miscommunication about garment packing. I asked the movers a week in advance to bring garment boxes for them to pack. On moving day, they showed up without garment boxes. Movers claimed they weren't informed to bring garment boxes. I showed them documentation/emails between me and Suburban Solutions in which I requested garment boxes, and they replied saying they would bring them. So, I don't know why they didn't have the garment boxes. BUT what I appreciated is that the movers still took care of wardrobe without problem. They asked if i had large trash bags, which I did, and that they would turn them into garment bags. Miscommunication is no fun but it happens sometimes. What makes or breaks the deal for me is how the company handles the miscommunication.

Brian and Dre were AWESOME! Not only did Suburban accommodate my changing schedule, but when the guys showed up via Uber just to make my move happen, I knew they were all about customer satisfaction! Not only did Brian and Dre unpack my POD faster than expected, they went above and beyond by asking if I needed anything else since I was under the 2 hour minimum. Most people would've just called lunch, but not these guys. They're true professionals!

Josh, Dara and Devin were awesome. I needed to move out of a condo (up and down a small elevator), stop to do a trade of beds and then move into another condo that was not easy to get into. All three men were very professional, easy to work with and got the job done! They also wrapped all of my furniture up to ensure nothing was affected during the move. Turned out perfect. Thank you!!

I have been working with Suburban Solutions since 2010 - and exclusively for my commercial moving projects. However, I recently needed to downsize my parents from their home which they've lived in for 40 years. So, I asked Suburban Solutions to assist us with our residential downsizing/moving needs. I could not have been more impressed with their advice, their staff and their leadership throughout this project. Brian Fitzgerald was both our adviser and program manager from beginning to end as we planned, scheduled and executed each day of a three-phased downsizing/moving effort. Brian guided us on how to plan for and stage each moving day - and he always answered my calls as we progressed through our move. Basically, Brian was a force-of-reason during a very challenging and somewhat emotional journey as we moved my parents from their home into a senior living community. The moving team - and in particular Steve (who goes by Mike), Nick, Robert, Dada, Josh and especially Marshall (who was with us during all three phases of our move) were outstanding. Their was nothing that they couldn't figure out. These guys moved items from the home into a storage unit and onto a senior living community with ease. They were very careful, they never complained and they always responded to our change requests while expressing gratitude for the opportunity to support us. I moved yesterday with Suburban Solutions and the experience was - well - perfect. I mean, perfect. I had a crew of Josh, Steve, Rey, John, and Nick - who showed up on time and got set up. We did a thorough walk-through to confirm everything and before I knew it the team was hauling, disassembling, transporting... I mean, they were ON IT. The team was professional, courteous, and friendly, careful, quick, and strong. All in uniform. Kind of like how you would picture they should be in your dream move - but better. Seriously. They got everything loaded up in no time flat and kept the property in great condition (no nicks, wall scuffs, etc.). they got right over to the new place and got right to work unloading. Here's the funny thing - they seemed to memorize exactly which lamps, books, games, desks belonged to each of my kids or which rooms (like, "Sir, you didn't mark these boxes of clothes, but I remember them being your daughters, so I'll get it over there"). and got them to the right destinations (I'm not sure I could have memorized that). So unloading was a breeze and we actually had the house livable by the end of the day. So ... you've been on a dozen review sites and read a million reviews. Just hire these guys. If I could give them six stars, I would. Just talk to Brian at the front office and get going. You'll be glad you did.

Andrew, Isaiah, and Evan (Havertown) were complete professionals and moved everything from PA to NJ safely, efficiently and timely. They were very nice and assembled everything correctly and without any problems. I would highly recommend these guys as they made moving heavy furniture and glass look seamless. Absolutely the best and would use them again if I ever move.

Great company! Everything was done seamless and on time. There was a few hiccups but due to furniture size. Did lose a $200 AC unit in the process and was only comped $40 for it. Overall the men were nice and very satisfied.

I could be more impressed with the service I received from Suburban Solutions. The owner Brian, was courteous on the phone and very prompt with his responses. The team he sent to pack and bring a van of a few of my late fathers belongings from MD to Upstate NY were terrific. Nick and John were extremely accommodating and the ultimate professionals. When they realized they needed a bigger vehicle for our things they figured it out with minimal cost to us and still on time. I work in the real estate industry where most services are through referrals and word of mouth. I found Suburban Solutions on Yelp and could not be happier. I highly recommend them for competitive pricing and great service.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, Suburban Solutions moved my son 3 times in 4 months! Sad but true. Two of the times there was a crisis that was out of our control - condo falling through as their moving truck sat on the loading dock, storage unit being closed - you name it! There name is very appropriate as they provided a logical "solution" each and every time. They are used to this stuff, and last minute changes and deal with it every day and handle it matter of factly. Their response rate is swift and Brian and Mike are awesome and my son and I both enjoyed dealing with them immensely. Jeff and the moving team moved my son each and every time and did a superb and efficient job. We look forward to working with you again on the next move - hopefully it will be awhile!

I could not have been more impressed with this company and the three individuals with whom I had the pleasure of working. First of all, my wife and I (who live in the San Diego area) were arranging for a moving service for my daughter (who lives in the DC area). That fact alone can be a challenge! But the process was smooth as silk, thanks to excellent communication from Brian (via yelp message and email). He assessed our needs, asked the right questions, and in a professional, friendly, straight-forward way set us up for a stress-free move. Everything he sent gave me the impression that the company is VERY customer-oriented and wants "all the cards on the table;" we were extremely comfortable going into the transaction. On the day of the move (after flying to DC area), Brian let me know that the crew was on their way to the storage facility. Joshua and James, the moving crew, texted me to let me know where they were every step of the way. When they arrived at the facility, they hit the ground running! They expertly checked out the situation, then started wrapping and lifting. Both guys were friendly and professional (and FAST!). This is one of those rare companies that make you wonder how everyone is motivated to perform at such a high level. Brian was our contact and his responsiveness is amazing. We had a two man crew come in BEFORE our move to help bring down boxes from the attic which we had wanted to sort through for years. These guys did it in two hours AND hauled a big truck load away. What should have been a chore was instead a huge relief. Fast, efficient... DONE. And super courteous to boot. On the big day, we had a five man crew take charge of a four-bedroom house and to say it was astonishing is an understatement. They talk with you, work out a system and move with all due care and efficiency. Each one was great and, by the end, we were grateful we had been in such good hands. A-plus guys, incredible work ethic, and the quote was pretty much spot on, something all the dudes really huffed to make happen. So much so, they deserve mentioning by name: Steve, Eric, Wayne, Eddie and James-- super great guy and truck maneuverer extraordinaire. He's got mad skills. I still don't understand how it all got done in one day. On top of which, I collected estimates from various movers and these guys came in lowest. Moving is hard. Amid all the hassle that comes with it, these guys made it that much easier. HIGHLY recommend.

I worked with Suburban Solutions for our move from PA to NJ in November 2018. We were moving from a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath to a 4 bedroom 4 bath home. I got around 4 quotes for the moving job. Suburban Solutions was the most competitive price. In addition, we had an extra person for the move (4 guys vs 3 guys from the other quotes). The 5 Stars are for the quote being accurate (no hidden fees), the work completed and the politeness and professionalism of the crew. This was considered a long distance move (over 50 miles). I have not gone through ALL the boxes yet and I'm not sure when we'll be 100% moved in but so far nothing was broken. I did spring for the extra insurance just in case. Hoping to have a majority of the unpacking completed in the next two weeks. If there are any issues, I'll update the review but very happy with their work.

A belated review (given that I've finally unpacked everything and I know if anything was damaged!) Edmond, Kris, and Andre worked on our move from Center City into storage in May 2018. Tyree, Dave, and Andre worked on our move from storage into Manayunk in July 2018. Both times, my experience was positive. They were polite and careful with my stuff. Nothing was broken. The move was efficient and quick and I did not get the sense that they were taking their time to stretch out the billable hours. An important thing to check if you're shopping for movers - ask if the billable time includes travel time from their location to yours. Suburban does not charge for that time, but charges a slightly higher rate once they do arrive. It's a tradeoff depending on where you live.

I recently used Suburban Solutions to move from Catonsville back into Baltimore City. From the initial quote onwards, Suburban was incredibly easy to work with, up front about all costs and aspects of the move, and professional. The two individuals (led by Wayne) that Suburban sent were extremely friendly and kept in touch with me at each stage of the move. As a young single woman moving alone, I had absolutely no concerns about my own safety or the safety of my belongings throughout the whole move. All of my items were moved efficiently and quickly with no damage to any object. In fact, a couch I had did not fit into the new apartment. The crew actually took the time to review my options with me and then rewrapped and moved the entire couch and cushions back to another spot. Pricing and associated costs were transparent and in line with other similar companies, with no hidden costs. My price was true to the quote that I initially received. I would definitely use Suburban again for another move in the area.
