The service here is amazing! They listen to your issues with your vehicle and will do their best to fix it for you at a great rate . I brought in my mini with a concern that I had been to Edmonton Mini multiple times for and they could not fix my issue . They quoted me a new ecm and wiring harness . Which I believed was over kill and wrong . Brought it here and in one hour these technicians figured out that when Edmonton mini replaced my thermostat housing they put the hoses on the wrong ports , causing my coolant temp sensor to report the car was running cold . These fine people fixed it right and my car is back to running amazing .

I had an excellent experience with Auto Germany. I brought my BMW X3 in for servicing and it was done quickly and painlessly. I have to say, Adrian is a one in a million gem! Highly recommend AutoGermany – honest, thorough, and trustworthy BMW specialists. I brought my 2011 BMW X5 35d to AutoGermany for a no-start issue that had me very worried. I was on the verge of scrapping my car cuz no shop seems to know why it's happening. The team did an extremely thorough diagnostic, checking fuel pressure, sensors, air intake, and multiple systems before pinpointing the real issue: a stuck throttle flap that was preventing the engine from starting. They manually confirmed the cause, test-drove the vehicle with a known-good part, and clearly explained the findings and next steps. What really stood out was their communication. Adrian was very patient from the beginning, straightforward, and honest—no fluff, no upselling, just clear explanations of what they would do, what it would cost, and why. The work was top notch, mechanics are very qualified and I am extremely happy with this shop. Prices are not outrageous. Great experience. Really easy to book an appointment, give information and pictures of what you need done. The inspection report they gave was really impressive, lots of high quality pictures and detailed information and over-and-above what I brought it in for. Can tell they have extensive knowledge of European cars, identified a few things I wouldn't have thought to look for. Will bring my MB back.

Adrian and Alex were amazing to deal with. I left my C300 with them to check what needed to be done, and they found all the issues quickly and thoroughly. They sent me a detailed inspection report, clear updates, and an accurate estimate with no hidden costs. Everything was explained professionally and honestly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AUTO GERMANY! A fellow mechanic and coworker recommended auto germany too me. I had my 09 335ix in to them about a year ago to have a race clutch installed and full fluid service after doing a bunch of work to my car. They provided me very fair pricing and good turn around time. They also did a first visit inspection with a nice emailed report providing pictures and severity information. They caught everything I knew about and a few other odds and ends. They never tried to up sell me anything on the report either although nothing was a major issue. I then had my car in again this Dec 2025 to have a used transfer case installed. Again great service and turn around time. Adrian was more than helpful with pricing and any questions regarding service, pricing or parts I had. As a tech and A guy that feels "if you want something done right, you might aswell do it yourself", Auto Germany is the only shop I'd trust any of my vehicles at. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We have an X5 diesel, and a GTI, both now always serviced at AutoGermany. Service is consistently excellent, and will not go anywhere else. Recently had the GTI in for some work on the heater system and install of new rims and winters, all the usual stellar service and quality. Strongly recommend.

Very pleased with AutoGermany! Adrian was nice and very easy to deal with. They got my car in quite quickly, provided a very decent estimate on the cost, called me to let me know some other things that needed fixing and were honest enough to say if you are replacing tires, you don't need the leak fixed. I really appreciated that. They gave me a VERY detailed list of the things that were wrong (plus videos and pictures) as well as the price to get it all fixed. I won't try to take it to a dealer again. This is definitely the place to get your import repaired.

Adrian went above and beyond for my bmw. I took my car in for brake replacement. They did a full visual inspection and suggested couple additional repair work for bushings and boots. My car still has extended coverage from bmw. Since breaks are not covered I asked to replace the brakes and I would reach out to showroom for coverage. As I mentioned that Adrian offered to reach out to the coverage provider to see if they can cover the repair. Even if Adrian couldn’t get the coverage that simple gesture of offering to reach out and try will have glued me to AutoGermany for life. Couple hours later Adrian called back to let me know that all other repairs will be covered (over 1000$ for parts and labour) and I just have to pay for the brakes. I was also able to chat with one of the owners who is also the Mechanic. The whole team is really knowledgeable and their customer service exceeded my expectations through the roof.

I used AutoGermany for a pre purchase inspection (PPI) on a used car I was considering buying. They were able to get the car in within a couple days (both Audi dealers were booking over a week out). I spoke with Adrian and he was extremely knowledgeable about the car I was buying (Audi). He was also very pleasant, and nice to talk with. They provided a very thorough inspection and report on the car. It gave me the confidence to commit to purchase an 8 year old car sight unseen. I felt that the price for the PPI was very reasonable (much cheaper than Audi), and the value they provided was excellent. I don't live in Edmonton, but if I did, AutoGermany would absolutely be where I would be getting all my service work done on this car. Thanks Adrian!

Started to use this shop a year ago when I've got my used 2013 Mini S Clubman. Did a oil change and they provided with a detailed inspection that was included in the price. This year I did transmission fluid flush and it shifts noticeably smoother. Again free inspection. Also brought my wife's 2008 E90 328xi for coolant system trouble. Very happy with their service, they do not trying to oversell, they provide you with information, detailed estimate, but final decision is yours. Communication with Adrian is awesome.

Took our GLK 250 here for a Service B. I was quoted 850-950 dollars at Mercedes West. For the same price at AutoGermany, I was able to get the Service B done along with a fuel filter change, and the blind spot sensors diagnosed and fixed. They also completed an inspection with breakdowns and pictures of what will need to be addressed soon. Unless we are doing recall work and require a loaner car, I plan on using this shop for all future repairs. Thank you Alex and Oleg! (shop rate is 165/hr.) Update 31 October 2025: after being contacted about a more pressing repair, and forgoing the original reason I brought on the car, Adrian informed me that the car was likely going to be completed at closing or shortly thereafter. As I was on the phone arranging for a ride, Oleg, the owner saw me at the counter and immediately asked if i had been helped yet. Keep in mind this was near 1500, he had just come out to grab the lunch he ordered, and had spent the last hour and a half or so trying to remove a stuck wheel bearing. The guy had literally been working his ass off, without any food since breakfast, visibly exhausted, likely frustrated and instead of just grabbing his food and going, he offered his help! UNREAL SERVICE!

The guys at AutoGermany are fantastic. I recently had a mysterious intermittent screeching noise coming from the back wheel of my Golf. When I called for advice Adrian patiently talked me through some possible causes and two weeks later I finally brought the car in to get it sorted. While I waited (my choice) comfortably in their lounge, Oleg kept me informed of the layers of investigation, until the culprit (a small stone lodged in the inner workings) was found. Then they gave the car a once over "for winter" before letting me leave. As an older woman with little knowledge of cars, at AutoGermany I never feel patronised or misled. They do a great job of explaining things in lay-terms; actively inviting my questions and responding clearly and kindly. After some awful experiences at Dealer Service depots, I am so glad to have found them. Keep up the great work guys. Thank you!!

Very satisfied experience with AutoGermany. When I got a quote form them, it seemed to me that they absolutely understood what they were going to do, and the estimate is reasonable, which finalized my decision to let them do the work on my Audi. During the repair, they clearly communicated the progress and let me know any potential additional cost. Eventually them overcame the difficulties and tried their best not increasing the cost. Very much appreciated! The job was perfectly done, and the engine is running much more smoother now which makes me regret not fixing it earlier. They also provided a full diagnosis before the repair and reviewed the repair findings with me after the repair. I am fully satisfied with their professionalism, service, communications, and would like them to do future maintenance/repair jobs on my Audi for sure.

First visit to AutoGermany. I was very impressed - had my BMW in for a diagnostic. Adrian and Oleg (service writers) were very thorough with the inspection. Prices was very fair and reasonable given everything they looked at and as a value add - they took care of some basics: topped up the coolant, replaced a brake bleeder screw cap. Inspection report was supported with photos and videos where needed. Shop (counter and waiting area) was super clean. Appreciated the Uber to and from work. These were all aspects that are better than other independent german import service shops I've been to.

These guys are great! They do a thorough inspection and send photos of any areas of concern. They provide timelines indicating when upcoming issues specific to your vehicle should be dealt with. If only there was an option for 10 starts… Auto Germany are exceptional👌 I have taken my car there a couple of times and every visit, they took time to investigate and resolved the issues. They always made sure that I left satisfied. On my last visit in April, I do not remember how many times I had to call them, ( of course several times) and each time I reached out, they would book me in as soon as possible. I was insisting that something was wrong with the car after I had changed to summer tires, rushed and ordered for brand new tires ( which was not necessary). The mechanic was very professional and advised that I didn’t need the new tires. I like the fact that they care for their customers not to spend so much buying/replacing unnecessarily. Multiple occasions I have taken my car to Auto Germany, they have consistently provided expert advice, carried out repairs with precision, and maintained a high standard of customer care. I recommend Auto Germany to anyone seeking reliable, honest, and top-quality automotive services.

Great experienced Sprinter mechanics for a fair price! We brought our Sprinter in on a Monday morning while traveling through Canada and they made time for us immediately. We came in with a very specific problem and not only did they find that problem and explained what it was but they also did a very thorough check of the rest of our vehicle. The report was thorough and honest and we quickly decided what to repair and what not to do, and in a day and a half everything was done on our Sprinter in a very professional way. Would come again, highly recommend! Adrian was immensely helpful and we really enjoyed his level of knowledge, communication skills and professionalism! The owner/mechanics did a fantastic job!

Hi My name is Jake. These guys are smart with repairs. They let you know how much before the work is done and they include photos of the damaged parts and replaced parts. They also keep in touch with how repairs are going with fast response times. I wouldn’t let any other shop touch my bmw. As far as I’m concerned though out of all my cars mustangs, 240s, civics, Id take them all there.

Great shop with great service. Best in the city if you own a german car. I’d recommend Autogermany to anyone.

I brought in my 2022 Thor Sanctuary camper van built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. The van has a lot of aftermarket equipment including a secondary high amp alternator that is not in the Mercedes supply chain and there is limited information online regarding the secondary belt. I had contacted the manufacturer of the van to get part numbers and support however Adrian was able to get the parts sourced and my van fixed before Thor support even replied by email. I also appreciated the included inspection report that Adrian took time to go over outlining information on my vehicle. Much better service than the dealership. Thank you to the AutoGermany team.

I took my beloved Mini Cooper, Winston, to Auto Germany to diagnose some issues with the engine. The mechanics at Auto Germany truly went above and beyond to figure out the problem (including spending several hours on the vehicle that they didn't even charge me for). They also provided lots of photos, videos, and both verbal and written explanations of the problems they found. Adrian was super professional and knowledgable. And this shop provides complementary Ubers for vehicle drop off and pick up! If you have a Mini Cooper, I highly recommend Auto Germany. 👍🏻👍🏻

We have been taking our Audi q7 tdi and our bmw 135i here for about 2/3 years now and we are super happy with the outcome everytime The whole team at AutoGermany are great and both cars are running excellent we have done regular services and some major services here they truly take care of us for sure never mind 5 star it’s a total 7star

I had been having some issues with my Mercedes ML350 for the last 6 months. Took it into the Mercedes Dealer twice with no luck of them finding any issues. Took it into AutoGermany for a service and they found the issues in a day. They kept me updated on the progress and costs associated with the repairs. Had an oil leak in a few spots and needed to change the belt and tensioner, (parts needed to be ordered) so they advised me that they didn't want to change the belt until the oil leak was fixed. They didn't want to compromise the new belt. Stand up guys throughout. I will not be taking my Mercedes anywhere else.

Highly professional and attentive. I had a minor issue with some work performed, which was promptly and thoroughly addressed. In a world of mediocre at best shops, this one is a clear winner. The check engine light in my fiancés Mini Cooper came on recently, DAYS before we had a road trip in it planned. My first thought: oh god this is going to be ten grand. She took it to Auto Germany (recommended to her by her sister) and was presented with all the things that needed doing and a gauge of urgency and we were able to pick options within our budget Their customer service was exceptional and we are now relaxing on our little vacation! Very pleased with how she was treated and her mini is running amazing now!

Business is extremely clean and tidy, super impressed the moment I walked in. Staff is very knowledgeable and communication is top notch. On my very first visit Alex was able to diagnose and fix my X3 for less than half the price of the dealership (which they misdiagnosed by the way) . Very knowledgeable with a genuine appreciation for customer service. Highly recommended!! Update!!!! Asked if Alex could install a starter for my 2013 X3 and he had an option for around $1000 (depending on vehicle) Can access through Pandora app includes security notifications from car Call Alex for details definitely worth the price 2024 update!!! Alex and Oleg have moved away from hands on service. Oleg is now front end and Akex will be soon. I trust these guys because of the awesome service I had over the years. Now it's become more about money, I get it, but, my oil change cost me $280 and quote for changing my wiper blades was $140 I realized things have changed. I've sent my family here based on my experience with them and all have experienced the same thing. I get inflation but a 35% rate increase is hard to swallow. This is my forever car, I want to take care of it, but I don't want to go into debt to do so. After the rad service I have scheduled I will look for alternatives

A very professional organization. I just wanted to thank Oleg and his team for a wonderful job done on the maintenance servicing of my A4 Allroad. The professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail was much appreciated. I was using another shop the past two years when my warranty expired. At first it seemed fine as I was only getting oil changes and minor maintenance. However, I felt a need for change on my last visit due to the lack of care of the other shop when major issues needed to be addressed. I will definitely be returning to Autogermany for all my servicing needs in the future.

I’m extremely satisfied with the service I’ve been receiving at AutoGermany. Authentic, professional, trustworthy. Love the new location. No complaints. Like to see they’re open on Saturdays to better accommodation for long distance customers.

A little late on the review. After calling and talking to just about every independent shop and the two Mercades dealerships in the city, I spoke with both Alex and Oleg on two occasions. Their attitude, willingness to listen to my questions and not give me a rush yeah yeah we'll take care of it answer won me over. My first time they had quoted me a standard rate for a B service. When the bill came it was less as they didn't feel they needed to change some of the air filters in the vehicle. I would have never known any different. Second time I went there they had a new advisor. She was excellent. Felt like in all of my years it was the best automotive service experience I've had. Would always service with them for any German car that I own going forward. Very nice and clean reception/waiting area with top refreshments available.

I've had a couple vehicles inspected here and could not help noticing they go above and beyond customer service wise and technicality wise. They know their stuff, trusted and appreciated!

They have helped me many times with my Mini Cooper and Volkswagen, they have always been very thorough and honest and always offer my choices in parts including oem and aftermarket. 10/10 experience every time, thank you Autogermany. PS. Love your new shop, wow, congratulations!!

I brought my Audi which had both a check engine and EPC light showing in the cluster. The codes meant engine misfire on 2 separate cylinders causing a sluggish performance on power and bad idling. Prior to bringing my car to Auto Germany, other mechanics were wanting to remove the intake manifold which would cost much more money. Oleg from AutoGermany suggested we first start outside the engine and look at the solenoid variable valve intake which opens and close the flaps for air intake inside the manifold....The solenoid replaced and the codes disappeared and the cars performance was restored. Additionally, they're super friendly, professional and offer excellent customer service.

I needed somewhere to take my 05 M3 and I am always very hesitant to go to a new shop as I have been burned by a couple in the past with previous vehicles. So did some research and decided to give them a chance and so far they have been really great to deal with. I look forward to bringing my car to them in the spring to get a bunch of work done (clutch, smg parts). They will also cover an uber from the shop to wherever you may need to go. To Ric Rod below, unless it's food nobody seems to impress you, maybe you should just stay in and that way the world won't wrong you. Honestly it is simply unparalleled service. None of the pretentiousness you get at the luxury dealerships and the best service I have ever experienced. They have end to end systems and operate with cutting edge (for automotive) software, which make their service incredible. The systems give you end to end transparency into exactly what is going on, and inform your along the way. There are Ubers to and from the location facilitated by the shop. Honestly way better than MB. I’ve only been once but no issues at all. Great service and very knowledgeable. New permanent shop and will try to convince others to try them.

Nothing but good to say about these guys. My van broke down on a long weekend so I had it towed here without any warning. Oleg called with the diagnosis, recommended path forward, and did everything he could to minimize unnecessary repairs. He was quick and responsive, honest, and put my needs first without any up-sell. Tried this shop for the first time since moving to Edmonton. I was looking for a good independent shop for my older model BMW (2003 e39). I brought it in for a hard start and misfire, but also asked for an oil change, and a 'state of the vehicle' inspection, since I had deferred a lot of maintenance. The shop provided a detailed 'vehicle health check' that prioritized issues as 'Urgent', 'Requires future attention', and 'Good', (Red, Yellow, Green), in addition to my primary complaint. Estimates provided, based on the work recommended, and all delivered via email and text message. On the basis of that report (and accompanying pictures) I chose to also fix some critical brake issues that I didn't know I had - and before finding out 'the hard way' that they were broken. Some things I'll be able to fix myself, and others, I can plan and budget to have the shop complete in the future. Overall, cost was very reasonable compared to other independent BMW specialists I've used in the past.

Auto Germany truly goes above and beyond! I’ve always maintained that no company is perfect and mistakes can happen. What separates the good companies from the great it how they handle the mistakes that inadvertently happen. Over the past three years, I’ve taken my vehicle to Oleg and Alex and have always been treated first class. Recently, a day after AutoGermany did an oil change for me, I was on a road trip to Saskatchewan with my wife and kids. Unfortunately, there was a fairly significant oil leak that occurred that led to low oil pressure and the need to shut the car down about and hour and a half out of town. I called Oleg and he accepted responsibility for the mishap, then kicked into gear to take care of us. He called a cab, booked a tow truck and set up a rental vehicle for us. They covered the cost for it all!!! Then when I returned to pick up my vehicle 4 days later, they surprised me with brand new brakes on the front tires as an additional sorry!!! Was the mistake an inconvenience? Sure. But the way that Oleg and his team took care of us more than overwhelmed any inconvenience we experienced. Simply said, you should take your business to AutoGermany. Side note…don’t expect free brakes after each oil change! Ha!!!

Despite the scarcity of the part required, AutoGermany searched far and wide to locate it. The installation was exactly as quoted, and very successful - my SLK32 runs beautifully again

This place is excellent!! I dealt with a worker named olage , very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. Had to come into Edmonton from 3 hours away, because no one could figure out the issue, but within a couple hours they figured out what was wrong. Fixed the issue with my bmw x5 in a timely fashion , reasonable rates. Very honest place! Would recommend these mechanics to anyone. Thank you!

2018 Golf Alltrack I had called in for an oil leak fearing the worst due to its nature but but was quickly put at ease over the phone. they got me in right away and begun to diagnose the problem. a written estimate and work forms were all sent via email. I was able to authorize the selected jobs from the estimate and saw exactly what was needed between parts and labour, there were no hidden costs, it was very handy. They also identified an issue with the suspension which I was aware of but hadn't gotten around to taking care of. I authorized the work and assumed I would see my car in a week or so. That was not the case I had it back that day and all was corrected for far less then I was expecting. I will never go to the dealer again. These guys are the real deal, they love cars and it shows.

Won’t take my vehicle anywhere else, quality staff and shop

This shop is very professional about BMW. I brought my car there because of white smoke from the exhaust. They dignosed the cause and advised me to go to dealer to for a free warranty replacement of the oil feed line. After the replacement, the dealer wanted to charge me extra to further exam the car, but AutoGermany reassured me that I don't need to spend extra on that and if the issue continues after a few days driving, I can send them the videos. The issue basically completely disappeared on the 2nd day! Because of their good advice and professional service and disgnosis, I don't need to spend extra to fix the problem. They are really professional and honest. I would recommend them to anyone who drives a BMW!

Awesome people

They replaced the clutch on my Mini Cooper which was no small job. The level of detail put into the estimate made me comfortable that they had considered all parts that might need replacing on my nearly 20 year old car. Also, they spent a lot of effort to show us all the parts afterwards and show us what needed replacing. They also suggested things we should look out for in regards to future repairs that might come up based on the age of car and relevant to the engine design.

The power steering on my Audi S4 failed a couple of weeks ago and I was extremely happy to discover AutoGermany close to my work place. The guys at autogermany did an excellent job with my vehicle a few months ago. Excellent communication along every step of the way and the job was done in a timely fashion. I will be bringing my vehicle here for servicing going forward.

Recently I was forced off the road and into the ditch by an oncoming careless driver, to avoid a head on collision, and certain death. My car sustained damages to the undercarriage components, steering rack, front struts, etc. A 4 wheel alignment was needed also. Since I was previously happy with AutoGermany's work, I let Alex proceed with the work needed to bring my car back to road worthy condition , I highly recommend AutoGermany to work on my cars, and you should also! It's not hard to give this place a five-star rating. Their communication skills are superb, and the interface they use to deliver and confirm service and quotes is next level. My Mini Cooper has never been in better shape. They might not want this advertised, but they'll call you an Uber back and forth to drop off and retrieve your vehicle. It's a service that makes them the clear choice for me, especially living near West Edmonton. Keep doing the good work, AutoGermany!

Taking the car in for service/repairs was always the most pointless experience for me at the dealership because I never really got a true sense of what was done from the litany of things on paper and from talking to service advisors. Auto Germany was recommended to me by someone I trust. So, when I took my car there for the first time, I went in without reservations. Nevertheless, now going through all these reviews, I can confirm they accurately reflect the experience with Auto Germany. I recently brought my 2011 BMW 328xi to AutoGermany for an oil change and inspection. I have been looking for an alternative to the BMW dealerships because I came to feel that the attention and value of service received at the dealership was not what it would be at an independently owned, more personalized service shop. I came across AutoGermany and based on the reviews I decided to give them a try. I am extremely happy that I did. I just wish I had discovered them sooner. The service was amazing, and Alex was great and very thorough in his explanation to me of what issues need attention based off the inspection performed. As well, they provided a Vehicle Condition Report which not only listed items that need attention but also included photos of the areas of concern, as well as visual/written explanations of why it is important to address the concerns. All in all, I am beyond impressed with AutoGermany and I look forward to taking my vehicle to them going forward for all of my repair and service needs.

I just purchased my first Audi. it was a private sale and I wanted my car to get a once over to know what I should address urgently, and what may need to be addressed in the future. The team here communicates 100x better than any other mechanic I've ever been to, calling multiple times to discuss what was found in addition to a comprehensive and handy inspection report sent to me via email while they still had my car. Excellent service on my vehicle

Service was great! They were very accommodating and the engine runs well now.

Great company to deal with. Their quotes were reasonable and they have a pretty sweet setup. When they diagnose your vehicle they email you the breakdown of what needs repair, or needs repair soon. They even have images and videos of the part that's malfunctioning or broken. No pressure but honest diagnostics. Their software also allows you to approve what you want them to fix and gives the total cost. Such a great experience. Easy to communicate through text, email and phone. Shout out to Alex and Oleg, great team. Will definitely bring all my cars for them to look after. Thanks!

If you’re looking for a place to take your German baby, look no further. Oleg and Alex are honest, knowledgeable, understanding, detailed, and fairly priced! They utilize technology, taking pictures of their diagnosis to make sure you understand what’s going on with your vehicle and text electronic quotes so you know exactly how much the work will be. Excellent service. I finally found a mechanic that I can trust. I wish I knew them before. They did a very good job on my Mercedes Gl450.

I was on my Alberta vacation in the last week of Sept and my alternator warning light came on when I was 150 km east of Edmonton. My battery was dying fast in my Mercedes Passenger Sprinter. I called these professionals and within two hours of opening on a Thursday morning they had the replacement alternator on the way from Toronto on overnight service. In addition they were gracious to book me in the following afternoon. It was all fixed. I could not drive prior to that more than 100 km before having to stop at a house and charge my battery for three hours. My target of travelling back to the Okanagan valley was achieved the next day after repair. Excellent performance. Normal dealer routes were a disappointment due to parts lead time and mechanic availability. I highly recommend this pair of first class professionals. Whenever back in Edmonton, they will be my “ go to “ provider no matter which vehicle I am using. A million thanks. They went over and above the call of duty and the labor cost was reasonable.
