I needed to move out on short notice to take advantage of rent incentives on the new place. My first call to J.C. Movers was different They knew my situation were very accommodating until I could secure dates to move out and move in. From there Everett made it happen. Priestly and his crew showed up on time, covered and wrapped each piece of my furniture and moved it along with 20 some boxes of my home items without an issue. The J.C. crew took care moving each piece of furniture and box as if it was their own. Heck I have had family move me in the past but nobody moved me out and in more efficiently than J.C. did. There was NO cussing, or damaged furniture or floors or walls. When I move next, I'm not going to waste time, I will call J.C. first. From the ladies in the office taking my information to Everett coordinating everything to Priestly's crew I can honestly say this was the Best MOVING experience I have ever had. On top of that J.C. We JUST completed our offload in Logan Square with Darryl and Aaron with JC Movers Chicago. They were assigned to us by Zippy Shell for our offload. These 2 guys are literally a dream come true! They worked HARD, after already servicing a very long offload earlier in the day. NOTHING broken. Nothing lost. They were careful with our belongings, and friendly and courteous. We appreciated them so much! We feel very relieved that they were assigned to us. They were truly amazing. Thank you guys! We appreciate you! Enjoy dinner out on us!

Hired them to do a labor only move and man oh man was it worth it!!!! Extremely communicative and thoughtful at every part of the process. Willie and his team showed up and got right to work, helping us during the process, and finished right at the allotted time. Way, way cheaper than other movers that quoted me and worth their weight in gold. If I weren't hiring them to pack me up to leave Chicago I'd hire them to the end. HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!

JC movers did a fantastic job unloading our home after a cross country move. Aaron and Quintin were fantastic and took care of our piano and recording booth with no problems. I had a good time experience with JC movers I booked 2 men for 3 hours and they called me and said they can be there 30 minutes before scheduled time if I would like for them to come early or just keep the original time. I was good with 30 minutes early. We had moved slot of boxes ourselves prior and these guys had the big and heavy prices to move from one home to another I thought they were very nice men who worked really hard. I'm very happy with their service and thankful for their hard work

I used JC Movers in March to pack up our belongings to move long distance. I was so happy with their work that I called them again in August when I was doing the final move out of the house. They were a professional, hard working group of guys who worked quickly. Heavy items were moved without any problems and I had no broken or damaged items, even after driving cross country. Highly recommended group of people!

I was in a bind after the first movers I hired turned out to be pretty inept. They left me with a poorly packed 1/2 full truck with the other half of my things sitting outside, so I called JC Movers (found them via Google). They were extremely helpful and were able to send a crew out to me that same day. The movers were awesome! They had to unpack/re-pack a portion of the truck, but they were able to get everything in, and it was packed much better and was definitely safer for a cross country move. I could not recommend them more highly!

Shandra rocks. Great personality and compassionate during a stress-filled time. The team loaded the containers with great precision so every nook and cranny was filled with my treasures and belongings. Like a game of Jenga, we unloaded with ease. Thanks JC Movers. (Why 4 and not 5? They did not use their time in my favor as breaks of chit-chat seemed to add to my bankbook. I should have said something but chose not to since this is hard work.)

I would use these movers again, or refer anyone to them. The gentlemen who came to do our move, David and I think Daniel, were very pleasant, polite and efficient. The came in and began work right away. They were careful with our furniture and nothing was damaged. They took orders from my husband, who can be a little cranky, with a smile, never questioning him. Being Memorial Day weekend, they were able to fit us in, and even finished the job in a shorter time than we expected. Overall, we had a great experience and were very pleased. We were thankful to have the help, since we are senior citizens.

You will NOT go wrong to hire moving help from this company. Their slogan "moving lives and protecting memories" is right on. We helped our daughter move from a 3rd floor apt in April and called for help at the last minute. We were assured by the CEO Chandra that the two men who were coming had done hundreds of moving jobs of and that they would do a great work. Their price was very fair compared to other companies we had contacted him . Antoine and Fernando showed up right on time and worked quickly and with the utmost care to pack our 17 foot U-Haul perfectly. They far exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend this company

I'm so glad that I didn't let the bad reviews stop me from going with my gut feeling and using JC movers. When I first contacted the company I talked with a man named Everett. He was so wonderful and helpful that I immediately decided to go with the company. Then I decided to look up the reviews and I got worried with my discussion... but I know that sometimes people just like to complain so like I said, I went with my gut feeling. I am so happy that I did! Our experience with JC movers was the ONLY thing that went well for us with the sale and move of our home. We had to store our 4 bedroom home into PODS for a few months until we purchased a new house. We couldn't go with the original movers because the cost would of been too high for what would be 2 different moves. So PODS put me in contact with JC Movers. So first they moved us into PODS and then 2 months later they moved our stuff into our more home. On both occasions I was given a time that they would arrive, and both times they arrived 5/10 minutes early and ready to work. Also people had mentioned things broken or dings in their walls but for me that was not the case. nothing was broken...NOTHING! As for a ding or two in a wall, well can you really possibly move a while house with out having a ding! The other thing that really stood out to me was they guys work ethic when they were in my home. Respectful, courteous and just overall great guys. My husband is a superintendent of a company and is a very hard boss to work for. He expects people to work hard. He was so impressed with these guys. They never sat and took a break, they worked so hard. At one point, while we were waiting for another POD to be delivered, Everett and his guys were busy doing stuff and my husband and I insisted they take a few minutes break! Moving is heavy, hard work and they just kept going!I knew that if the first move didn't go well with JC movers then when we needed to have our stuff moved from PODs into our home we would just go with someone else. They wasn't a second thought in our minds after that first move that we would 100% be using JC movers for the second move. I hope to never move again but if I have to I know I can rest easy that at least one thing will go right because I will always just call Everett and he will take care of us! So Thank you Everett ,Timothy, Xavier and I think his name was DaveLastly, people mentioned (complained) about the price and how expensive it was and them taking too long etc.. I again find that to be untrue! Honestly after how fast and hard these guys worked I went back to read the reviews and I just know now that the reviews are from people that you just probably can never please. I'm just so glad I didn't listen. You shouldn't listen either and give them a call if your planning on Moving!

The guys at JC Movers did a great job helping me move some items from my basement to a storage facility. The moving team was on time and were courteous. The items were heavy and the guys seemed very experienced handling such heavy loads. The price was fair compared to the other moving companies I researched. It was a good experience and I will use JC for future moving labor help.

We had a wonderful experience with JC Movers. I called them less than one week before we needed their services and asked if we could use them for a move on Thanksgiving Day. I know!! We are evil people. But, guess what they said, "we'll make it work!" My husband and I are so thankful for their help in getting us moved in to our new place. We moved cross-country, so as if that was not stressful enough, we also had to find people to help us on Thanksgiving Day. They made it work, and did not even hesitate to accommodate us. The movers were on-time, hard-workers and they finished a one-bedroom move in one hour and 10 minutes. My husband and I helped them, but only because we offered. They did not ask us to help once. Also, they carried all of the heavy items themselves. We are in temporary housing until June so we will definitely be calling them again to do our next move for us. Also, they were very reasonably priced and since that was the case, we ended up tipping our movers very well. All in all, a great experience and we'd definitely use them again!

Used them for a move in early September and they did great. I was moving cross country, we drove the truck and just needed the uhaul unloaded. The day before, one of the movers got in touch with me, asking about how much stuff that needed to be unloaded, biggest piece, etc. I was honest with him, we had a 16 foot truck that was packed to the gills. The 2 unloaders showed up on time the following morning (reeking of pot, but not my business), and when we opened the back of the truck they seemed taken aback by how full it was, going as far as taking pictures of it. They stood around for a little bit talking about how they were going to go about unpacking it, that's when I started getting worried. I had booked them for a minimum of 2 hours, with it being an additional charge per hour after that. The way they were acting, I was worried that they were going to intentionally work slow so that they could get more money out of it, and they did indeed start slow. Much to my surprise, they were actually really hard workers. Once they got moving, they unpacked the truck really quickly and were very polite when we directed them where to put things. They ended up finishing well before the allotted 2 hours, I was impressed to say the least. I'd definitely recommend them.

Three guys, lead by Xavier, loaded all my worldly possessions, (including a piano and an upright bass), on a 26 foot truck yesterday. They were professional, courteous, and resourceful. I would highly recommend them!

I thought these guys were great. I initially had Antoine and Vic come out and load a piano and sofa. They were pretty late showing up ( 4 stars instead of 5) but once they showed up, they moved my heavy and bulky items and took good care to wrap everything and get it protected. Once I saw them move the big stuff I decided to have them help me unload. Andre, Morris & (forgive me I can't remember the third guys name) came out and unloaded my two pods in less than two hours. To top it off we were having trouble figuring out how to arrange a big sectional in our new family room. These guys came took one look and figured out a nice arrangement and moved the furniture around for us. Great crews, highly recommended.

One problem was that the movers arrived 30 minutes late; but with that said, they got the move done in less time than expected, were very lively and provided thorough explanation of every part of the process. I will absolutely be using again. Thanks!

The two gentlemen that JC Movers sent to my home to help unload furniture, boxes, etc. from a 26' Penske moving truck were terrific! Their names are Priestly and Timothy. They followed my instructions to "the letter of the law." They were extremely careful with our possessions and made sure that the walls were not scraped or even touched during the major moving of materials. They completed the entire task within the allotted time and were very pleasant, friendly and smiled as they worked. I highly recommend these two professional movers when needing moving services.

The two guys (can't remember their names) that came to my place to load up my things one evening and then unload them the next were excellent. Extremely nice. Very careful with the large items and walls. Only criticism would be for them to have blue shoe protectors when moving things so the floors and carpet don't get dirty from their boots; not that it happened much. Would definitely use them again. A great 3-man crew arrived at our house on time - they were professional, efficient, and handled everything with care. We were amazed at how they fit everything into our 16 foot container. What a relief. A really good experience overall and we would recommend them to anyone.

From my first emails until the job was complete, I was very satisfied. I was referred over by another company to have 2 men load/unload our trailor. Both days the men showed up right on time. All of them were friendly and quick. Our couch had to be hoisted over a tall balcony, they covered it and did not damage the building or the couch in doing so. We were expecting them to be done around 2 hours and they had finished early. All together we had a pleasant experience.

Great service at a reasonable price. Two very pleasant young men arrived on time and moved everything around our home we asked them to. JC Movers were contracted by myself for a corporate move in 2012. The moving crew showed up to the site on time, were very professional, and most of all helpful and within the budgetary guidelines. Once instructions were given to the team-leader...the crew went to work and executed our move in a very timely fashion. They even cleaned up the now empty unit that our company was moving from. I recently used J. C. Movers & Lumper Services to unload a moving truck after a 14 hour drive. Everett was very accommodating when I pushed the time back by 2 hours on the day of the move and he also sent additional help with short notice at my request.
