The steps didn't worry us as we are all fit and enjoyed having a little bit of exercise every day. The breakfasts were simple and fresh and they catered to some dietary needs also. Would definitely stay here again.

Magical This was the best villa experience. We stayed in villa 10, yes there are a lot of stairs but it is so worth it for the incredible views and sense of privacy when you are at the top. The plunge pool was amazing and great to cool down in after waking up the stairs ! I could have spent hours just chilling on the balcony which had plenty of comfy daybeds to read and relax on. I appreciated the fridge being filled with reasonably priced drinks. During our stay we were offered free cocktails due to construction taking place, honestly the construction was not a bother at all, we hardly heard any noise and certainly nothing in the evenings. The location is excellent, you can view all the surf breaks from the villa (binoculars would be good !). A short walk to Coconut Beach which is great for younger kids and also easy access to hire Sups and surfboards to go to the smaller breaks (playgrounds/lacerations). If wanting to surf Shipwrecks better to walk to Eddy’s surf shop and hire from there and take a surf taxi (very easy and worth the $) Nusa Lembongan is great if you like surfing, swimming and viewing fish and coral. There were a number of restaurants in walking distance, many of the beachfront restaurants are somewhat expensive by Bali standards, more similar to Australian prices. Expect many things to be a bit more expensive than the main island because there are so much more costs involved with bringing things over from Bali, even fuel etc, considering this the prices are more than reasonable. Our favourite restaurant was the B Fresh Juice Bar which is very close to the villas and has excellent smoothie bowls and fresh food.

Upon the recommendation of Bulan from The Lembongan Traveller, we opted to stay at Lembongan Island Beach Villas, and we're so glad we did. The comfortable and well-appointed villa and communal pool area (with its phenomenal view) provided a cozy retreat after a day of island adventures. Highly recommend!

Amazing views, amazing staff, a lot of stairs We stayed 4 nights in Villa 10 as a family of five. The views are amazing however the 150+ steep stairs are not for the faint hearted so select a lower unit if you don’t fancy stairs :) The staff at LIBV are fantastic and the prices for food, drink and mini-bar are very reasonable. The views from Villa 10, the large balcony and private pool meant it was a great little sanctuary to rest and relax. We were met from the boat at 9am and were shown directly to our villa as it was available immediately which was fantastic and meant we could relax straight away. There was work occurring on a villa whilst we were there and we were given a free cocktail each day for the inconvenience however we didn’t hear the construction once. The staff, particularly Yusti and Komang were fantastic and the porters amazed us with how they navigated the steep hills with luggage. We would definitely stay again

All you would want, and a little extra We loved our stay here with our daughter. The property, like many others on this side of Jungutbatu, is built on a steep hill, which means great views from every villa but be mindful of how many steps you are happy to do versus the view you want. The staff are so welcoming and work hard to make your stay effortless. The pool is small but more than enough given the great view and plenty of seating for guests including a large daybed/cabana with good shade. The pool bar is open from 7-7 and the happy hour is popular. When we visited there was some construction happening on the property between 8-5 every day so the resort offered us each a complimentary daily cocktail as a gesture, which is more than some places provide in the same situation. The hotel feels more personal than some of the larger properties on Lembongan that we visited for food and drinks and its proximity to Coconut Beach, Spring Spa and The Deck make it hard to justify venturing too far. There is also the most excellent and cheap reflexology place just in the laneway near the hotel. Back to our villa: bedrooms have great A/C, fans elsewhere, bathrooms open style (like most of Bali), full kitchen, USB wall plugs and smart TV (Netflix etc) but still having the rustic Bali charm. The deck is huge and some villas have a plunge pool but we opted against. Breakfast is simple but well executed and if you’re bored or hungry there’s the B’Fresh or Lago cafes nearby. Housekeeping was also very well done and beds large and comfortable. My only nitpick is it would be great if staff came and lit a mosquito coil in the evening on the deck but honestly not a major deal if you carry repellant. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to beautiful NL.
