Excellent extensive and varied building, roofing, decorating and renovation work - internal and external. I was kept up to date with the work and tricky things were discussed before work commenced. The team were cheerful to have about. The bill was in line with what I had been led to expect.

Very good building work P&A Doherty did extensive internal and external building works and repairs, renovations, decoration and restoration covering most aspects of the house (chimneys, roofs, window replacements, ceilings, carpentry, drains, timber beams, insulation etc.) The work - which took place over a period of a year - appears of high quality. I was kept up to date of progress and issues and tricky things were discussed with me before work was undertaken. The team were cheerful and easy to have around. The final bill appeared reasonable and consistent with what I had been led to expect.

Roofing Worked as a team. Good work ethics. Good communication from all involved when new issues were uncovered as it is an old house. Contact made even at weekends and evenings when required. High standard of work achieved and was completed with regular updates and notifications. Overall very happy with the work.

Philem Doherty did a fantastic job for us. We initially needed a light refurbishment but soon discovered more intensive structural work was required to our house. He was very good at explaining what his team were going to do. Despite the fact the job had some challenges that were difficult than originally anticipated, Philem gave a competitive price and we were able to stay within our budget. The work was completed to a high standard and it’s clear him and his team have many years experience. They are extremely friendly and helpful and remained professional throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I found this Company very professional and Phil always kept us in the picture with every stage of the work being carried out. They are very reliable and came every day until the job was complete. They also did internal work, and Phil and his team where so considerate to my Mum who was 92 and made sure everything was done with the minimal disruption to her. They cannot be faulted in anyway and I would highly recommend them without any hesitation.

Professional, friendly, prompt Good honest advice and work completed to our satisfaction with little disruption to our day to day living whilst work was underway.

Trustworthy and efficient P & A Doherty worked on my cottage for approx. 2 months. All the workmen were efficient and polite. Mr Doherty kept me well informed and discussed work with me at all stages. When the work was finished, several people commented on the standard of work done and said how nice the cottage looked. I have recommended the firm several times and will not be using any other firm myself.

Which? Local Review They replaced all my guttering, gutter and soffit boards, re-pointed ridge tiles and cleaned the roof of all the moss. They did a great job and were very tidy and always cleaned up their mess well.
