Our three‑hour morning tour with VipDolphins in late February was a delight from start to finish. The catamaran is impeccably maintained, comfortably arranged for only 17 guests, and offers a sense of space and calm that sets it apart. Drinks (including wine, beer, and simple cocktails) and a selection of small sweet and savory bites were served with friendly attention. We encountered two dolphin groups feeding right beside the boat - a beautiful sight - and appreciated that the onboard photographer allowed us to stay fully in the moment. The images were available online five days later. A short swim stop beneath the dramatic cliffs of Cabo Girão and a scenic cruise past Câmara de Lobos and Reid’s Palace rounded out the experience. Even without whale sightings, and despite cheaper alternatives, the combination of exclusivity, professionalism, and scenery made this tour exactly what we hoped for. A clear recommendation.

This was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had on Madeira ⭐️ We booked the VIP catamaran tour to see dolphins, and everything about it was absolutely perfect. The boat was comfortable, the ocean views were breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere felt special from the very beginning. What made it even more unforgettable was the incredible crew. They were so kind, attentive and genuinely warm. We got engaged just the day before the tour, and when the team found out, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate 🥂 It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that made the moment even more magical. Seeing dolphins in the wild while sailing along the coast of Madeira is something we will remember forever. If you’re visiting the island, we 100% recommend this experience.
