Fantastisch verblijf in een bijzondere B&B ☺De B&B was bijzonder mooi ingericht. Het diner en het ontbijt waren uitstekend verzorgd. Het bijbehorende terras was fijn om op te vertoeven. De wijnkeuze in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte was zeer uitgebreid. ☹Niets. Alleen is er in de onmiddellijke omgeving van de B&B niets. Maar wat in de B&B beschikbaar is aan faciliteiten en aan eten en drinken maakt dit ruimschoots goed.

Heerlijke rustige plek voor doorreis ☺Rust en gastvrijheid, de eigenaresse wilde zelfs op haar vrije dag eten klaarmaken. Heel lief aangeboden. ☹Hou er rekening mee dat in het dorpje geen horeca is

Inderdaad, er is geen restaurant direct in het dorp, maar wij bieden onze table d’hôte aan, die trouwens erg gewaardeerd wordt door onze gasten. We kijken ernaar uit u opnieuw te mogen ontvangen!

Our three-night stay was perfect, with great food, a spacious comfortable room, a beautiful and peaceful location near S ☺We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay, sleeping in an excellent bed in a spacious room, and savoring the delicious breakfasts, picnics, and dinners. The surroundings are peaceful and charming, right at the edge of the French Ardennes and beneath the beautiful town of Sedan, home to the largest fortified castle in Europe. There is so much to see and explore in the area. Add to that the warm hospitality of Martine and Rudi—who speak French, perfect English, and some Dutch—and you quickly realize there’s no better place to be. ☹Nothing

warm welcoming house in the Arden nature ☺very nice renovated house , Martin & Rudi are lovely hosts warm and welcoming , the location is very good for nature hiking lovers , lots of woods , canal , nice villages . we had dinners in the place ( to be ordered in advance ) and it was great food and wine ( and not expensive ) the house has a bar based on trust , free coffee and good breakfast . ☹it can be hot in summer , no AC and the room on the road side can be noisy if windows are open .

Regarding the heat, it’s true that the current heatwave is quite exceptional, with temperatures reaching 37–38°C, which is very rare in our region. Normally, old stone houses like ours remain pleasantly cool during the summer. We’re committed to preserving the authentic charm of the house, but for your comfort, a mobile air conditioning unit is available upon request. Confort & calme dans un environnement privilégié ☺ Les logements - récemment rénovés - étaient très confortables et parfaitement propres. Le salon (table d’hôtes) bien équipé et confortable est un espace où il fait bon vivre et refaire le monde avec des amis. Le jardin, une grande aire gazonnée, se termine par un majestueux chêne solitaire. La forêt n’est pas loin, et la quiétude est garantie Enfin, les hôtes nous font un accueil remarquable. Nous nous sentons chez nous, comme à la maison. Attentionnés et cultivés, nous ne manquons de rien mais l’élégance absolue, reste leur discrétion. Leur pudeur nous a permis un séjour plein de sérénité et tout confort grâce au haut niveau de service. Un havre de paix. ☹ Rien véritablement. Un détail - le bar des digestifs regroupe une importante collection de bouteilles…toutes vides.
