Wonderful stay with musical friends at Morland House. Fascinating to stay in a historic home yet enjoying modern comforts. Plenty of space for us to enjoy playing chamber music, when we were not out walking/exploring the gardens/eating & drinking. Fabulous location for a special get-together!

This was an amazing experience to stay in the Morland House! We stayed for a family weekend and it was so cool to see all the history contained within this building and family. It was very well kept with lots to keep up occupied - a super well stocked kitchen and lots of board games as well as lots of painting and other interesting things to look at! A lovely setting and was great to spend the evening by the open fire too!

Thank you for allowing the historic Morland House to be used for visitors to stay in. We had a wonderful family reunion, which brought my husband and I, our sons, their wives, and children together from different parts of the world. Morland House was the perfect and interesting venue for all of us. The house is fully equipped, clean, and spacious. The gardens are beautiful and tranquil. It was truly a fantastic place to have quality family time together.

The 5 grandchildren loved discovering the gardens at Morland and their parents enjoyed drinking peacefully on the terrace knowing their children were safe and happy. Football, croquet, exploring, playing pool, a treasure hunt, and elegant birthday celebrations: we all found something to do at the house as well as a trip to the nearby fantastic playground, and lovely Ullswater and hills another day. It's a wonderful place, with very comfortable beds and space for a big family to gather as well as space to do your own thing.
