Needed a new engine for a customer. Typical 2010 suburu oil starvation. Found these guys after sifting through countless scam sites Google wants to sponsor. They were very easy to work with. The guy on the phone was real with me. No soft language B.S. and had my engine coming to me fast. We had some shipping difficulties, but that wasnt the fault of the supplier (stupid LTL logistics). Finally got the engine when they said I would. He walked me through what all needed swapped. Saved the day. Will buy from again. A+ legit company with that old school small business vibe. I called 3 times to make sure they had the correct transmission, I needed a A340E and I told him I’m coming from an hour away. I asked for a picture of the transmission but I was assured that the transmission is in stock and he said that he checked it and it is indeed correct. I arrive and check the transmission, it’s not the correct transmission, it’s the wrong model that will not work with my vehicle. So I wasted 2 hours and gas because the part was not verified. I understand there’s lots of product in stock but then trying to sell me a transmission that won’t work is not good business.

So at first, I was sketched out on ordering another motor from a different company since the last one screwed me over with a rusted ass block so I started looking up the reviews for all JDM businesses that had an FA20DIT for my WRX I called and the person that I spoke to was Hugo. And let me tell you something this man provided me information and answered my questions before I asked, and what I needed to do for the JDM motor to be compatible with the US chassis. So I moved forward on ordering the motor and he texted me and provided pictures of the exact motor that he’s going to send out to me. I purchased a jdm ej253 end of september, got it home and noticed some issues. I started tear down on it and noticed damage to the cam and crank gear as well as a broken rear timing cover. I emailed the photos of damage and was told to come by and swap it out without any hassle or questions. I drove down about a week later and he had one ready to go for me which was in far better shape and had me look it over to ensure I was satisfied. I picked up the motor for my Rav4 a week ago and had it installed. My mechanic said it was a very clean motor and definitely a low mileage one at that. My Rav4 has a new heart and runs so much quieter and stronger than the 300k motor we pulled out! I would not hesitate in purchasing a JDM motor again. Well worth it!!!

Update : 4 months in and the transmission still runs great, the fluid looks great, and there are no issues whatsoever. No codes, no harsh gear shifts, no signs of anything but a perfectly operating transmission. Update: 32 days since install, transmission continues to operate beautifully. No expectations of issues in the near future. A big thanks to JDM Seattle for a wonderful experience! I helped a friend purchase a u760e transmission for her Toyota. These guys were very approachable and helpful on the phone to place the order, and the purchase and shipping process were smooth. The transmission arrived on time via Estes (who were also AWESOME!) and visual inspection of the transmission strongly indicated it as a quality, low mileage transmission (good fluid color & smell, low material in pan, etc). After I completed the install, the mandatory re-learn, and added correct fluid level, the transmission functions beautifully with wonderfully clean shifts and my friend's Toyota is confidently back on the road. Buying a used transmission - or even a reman transmission! - is always a gamble, but I believe that JDM Seattle are selling a quality product that is absolutely worth that gamble. They also back that up with a 90 day warranty, which is 60 days longer than nearly anyone else. Thanks again y'all!
