Came here after rotator cuff surgery - Teresa was my main physical therapist, and she was great! She was very encouraging, and explained new exercises over time to best recover. She discussed with me any concerns I had during recovery, which was reassuring. No issues with scheduling - was able to go in on a regular basis for several months without issue. Would highly recommend!

I have been going to OC Sports & Rehab for close to a year now for PT on my shoulder after getting a Remplissage to repair my Hills-Sachs fracture and labrum tear I got rock climbing. To say that Teresa and the rest of the therapists have been essential to my recovery is an understatement. I have had previous poor experiences with physical therapy but the team at OC Sports & Rehab were continuously professional, knowledgeable, and worked with me throughout my recovery, the highs and lows. I would describe myself as an impatient and somewhat forgetful patient, but they always had a great attitude and helped push me to the point that i am back to the sports and activities that I love. I could not recommend this place enough if you are in need of physical therapy in the Orange County area.

My elderly mother has needed physical therapy over the past year for both knee and ankle issues, and most recently after having the hardware removed from her ankle that was placed there following a severe fracture a few years ago. Throughout each stage of her recovery, Teresa at OC Sports & Rehab has been absolutely exceptional. I had a great experience with OC Sports and Rehab while working to relieve my sciatica that arose during pregnancy. For 4 months I attended 1x/week PT sessions with Teresa, who was phenomenal and a sincere pleasure to work with. She's very knowledgable about pregnancy-safe exercises, great at fielding any questions/concerns, and a genuinely nice person to spend an hour working/chatting with! The worst of my sciatica was relieved after about a month, but I continued visiting to maintain that relief and I believe it went a long way in supporting my long-term recovery. The support staff was also kind and helpful which made for an overall positive experience - so much so that I began even looking forward to my weekly PT sessions! I would recommend OC Sports and Rehab to anyone who is in need of physical therapy.

I cannot recommend OC Sports and Rehab in Lake Forest enough. I spent nearly a year here recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon I suffered during a softball game, and the care I received was exceptional. I worked primarily with Jada and Teresa, and they were truly with me every step of the way. When I started, I had already been in a boot for several months and felt like I had a long road ahead of me. They were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging as they guided me through the transition from the boot to walking in shoes again. Throughout the entire process, I always felt supported and genuinely cared for. They didn’t just focus on the physical exercises; they made sure I understood the recovery process and felt comfortable with my progress. When I was finally discharged, I felt confident that I had the strength and mobility to get back to my normal life. I started PT with so much pain in my feet, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to walk normal again. After just a few weeks of excellent care, exercises and stretching, the pain is nearly gone, I walk normal again and my tennis game has improved. Absalon is a super conscientious, hard working and skilled therapist. Cody is absolutely amazing, went through preliminary neck injury assessment with Cody. I describe my condition which is extremely uncomfortable, he listen intently and suggested manual traction which i was reluctant to try as to the discomfort I have endured. I've gone to this PT location for shoulder rehab, and I couldn't be happier with all of the extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff. I can’t thank the OC Rehab team enough for helping me heal my shoulder injuries. I’m active in martial arts and activities with my kids and the pain in both my shoulders was greatly limiting my range of motion to the point that even getting dressed hurt. I had broken 3 bones and dislocated 4 with a few fractures from an accident 2 months prior. After one week (four sessions) with Dr. Cary Costa and his awesome team I was not only walking without crutches or a boot but able to push on a skateboard and walk around all night on my own. His team executed tons of hands on stretches that really sped up the process. If i didn't get good care my quality of life would be severely lowered and being as active as I am I could't risk it going wrong. I have been to other physical therapy places and they dont hold a candle to his approach. Thanks Cary and team for helping.

Cody did a great job. I thought my issues would get worse, resulting in a risky complex surgery. Not only did Cody get me feeling better after one visit but said how easy it would be to maintain my health and reduce pain 90%. No need for surgery anytime soon, or possibly ever. OC Sports and Rehab is truly the best! I have been struggling with severe and very stubborn De Quervain’s in both of my wrists.
