I had such a great experience and truly felt taken care of from the moment I walked in. I originally booked an hour electrolysis session, but since it was my first time, we started with a consultation. Nicole was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable right away. During the consultation, she was very honest and knowledgeable. She explained that I have a lot of thick, coarse hair on my face and recommended that I start with laser treatments first before moving on to electrolysis. She took the time to explain that this approach would actually save me money and time in the long run, which I really appreciated.What I really appreciated was how much she genuinely cared. Nicole (and her team) are the best! I have struggled with hirsutism due to PCOS for years. I have tried laser hair removal in the past but it didn't make an impact. Nicole gives very realistic expectations as far as time frame goes. Electrolysis is a process that will take time but it is extremely effective, especially with Nicole's experience and technique. Jahnia is the best!! I’m officially 1 year into the process and the progress has been so life changing. I used to pluck daily which made my skin irritated, painful, and inflamed. I was really nervous to start because I was worried that even though I have heard great results from other people for some reason it “just won’t work for me”. I started noticing small changes after just a handful of sessions. After a full year I would say at least 75% of the density has been reduced! Still some progress to make, but I am so grateful for Jahnia’s time, kindness, and patience through the process.

I am updating my review from a few years ago as Nicole/ Electroyogi has changed my life more than I had ever thought! I began seeing Nicole for treatment back in 2017. And from my previous review below getting rid of the unwanted hair on my face due to my PCOS really helped me grow my self confidence. Especially being that I had then just recently moved to the LA area as a young person and was trying to figure out what to do for a career. Over the duration of going to ElectroYogi for treatment, seeing how Electrolysis can change so many peoples life, and how Nicole provides such a comfortable, and safe environment for everyone, I became interested in starting a career in Electrolysis. In 2018, I began school for my licensure in electrolysis. Learning how common unwanted hair growth is, and that there are so many different causes to why it may occur, this propelled my growing passion for this underserved community of people as the number of Electrologists even still, does not match the need of this service. In 2019 after receiving my license, I began working at ElectroYogi as a Jr. Electrologist. I am so fortunate to have started with Nicole. Her and her team were so helpful and kind to work with when I was first starting out. I loved getting to know my clients and learning about everyones "hair journeys". Though at the beginning of the pandemic I had to make a difficult decision and had to move back home. Fortunately, I have continued my Electrolysis career back home, and this summer I was so glad to travel as a guest Electrolysis at the ElectroYogi Studio. My hair is dark, coarse, grows back very quickly, and is quite noticable on my skin. Throughout the years have tried tweezing, waxing, laser hair removal, depilatories, epilatories, bleaching, shaving etc. Some methods were painful and/or left me with very irritated skin as my skin is also quite sensitive. Above all these are all temporary solutions. Though over the years, I have come to embrace some of my body hair, but my facial hair is something I am still extremely self conscious about. It has been a hinderance in my life, as it plays a major decision factor in my social life. I was tired of feeling held back by this unwanted hair, so at a bit of a wit's end I did a bit of research. I came across ElectroYogi Electrolysis, and scheduled an appointment with Nicole, the founder and Owner of ElectroYogi. I was a bit nervous upon my first consultation as I really didn't know much about Electrolysis or what to expect with the treatments. I was a little hesitant in investing in Electrolysis as I thought my hairs would just be too stubborn, but even after my first treatment I noticed a difference. Nicole answered all and any questions I had about Electrolysis upon our initial appointment. She is very knowledgeable, and so accommodating and caring. The treatments are efficient, getting the most hairs with the most accuracy within your scheduled time. I know everyone has a different pain tolerance, though as someone with extra sensitive skin, the treatment is so tolerable and really only feels like a little pinch for a few seconds. The ElectroYogi home studio is very clean, comfortable, and the machines for treatments are up to date, and very well kept. The staff is communicative, along with being super wonderful and sweet. They truly care about what they do and really try and get to know their clients as well. After a few treatments with Electro Yogi my hair is growing back slower, finer, or not at all! I am so grateful for Nicole and ElectroYogi!

Typically I lean on referrals from friends for my self care services. In this case however, I discovered Nicole here at EE all on my own. I am thrilled that I did. After watching her tutorials I felt completely at ease and confident that I was putting myself in the care of a warm knowledgeable professional. My instincts were correct. Nicole is the best!!!

As a black woman, I was very concerned about electrolysis hair removal on my face causing dark spots or scarring. The Electroyogi aka Nicole put my mind at ease at our first session, letting me know she has had plenty of melanated clients and electrolysis actually helps correct hyperpigmentation and she follows the follicle to determine to best removal techniques.  I have had 5 sessions so far and I'm loving the results! Fun fact:  I saw a tiktok last week of a 70 year old grandmother getting waxed by her grandkids, of course they laughed while she was in pain (don't let this be your future :0)

I started seeing Nicole a couple of years ago because of a hormone disorder that lead to unwanted hair in places women don’t typically have hair. Nicole has CHANGED MY LIFE! And I can’t emphasize that enough. I went from having to shave the areas every time before I left my house to not thinking about the hair for weeks/months at a time. I started getting electrolysis done about 9 years ago while living in New York. When I moved to Los Angeles last year, I knew I wanted to get back in a rhythm in order to finish what I started. Finding ElectroYogi was such a huge relief. I won't ever go anywhere else. It's such a warm, positive and welcoming environment. Seeing Nicole this week, I experienced the least amount of discomfort I've ever had while tackling the most amount of hair in one sitting. Even amidst this pandemic, I felt safe, supported and cared for. I walked out of there with little to no redness or irritation, and now 24 hours later, you wouldn't even know I had follicles all over my body zapped. Can't express enough how grateful I am to ElectroYogi and their entire team. I've had treatments from Vanessa, Ronna and Erin and always feel cared for and understood when I visit. Hair removal is a delicate matter that can bring up lots of emotions (or am I just crazy sensitive??) and these women not only have the delicate touch, they have the skills to get those stupid hairs out for good! The facility is clean, modern and cozy. There's always a lovely relaxing vibe in the air. Each staff member has a unique personality and they're all super fun to chat with. AND THE HAIRS ARE GONE. Also you may spot a kitty sunbathing in the drive way, which is always delightful.

So I started coming here last summer after researching for months on electrolysis places in LA and I am so thankful I did! This "homey" business is exceptional. (It is located in a residential area.) The owner, Nicole, is at once welcoming and perfectionistic in her work. She helped me with a delicate issue with grace and aplomb. She has several technicians working with her, and they have all been excellent. Her prices are reasonable too. I am a convert to electrolysis for hair removal of any sort.

I have been coming to see Robin for a long time now and I highly recommend her! I started coming for facial hair but I eventually got my eyebrows done as well, and I get compliments on them all the time without having to wear make-up or do anything else to them. Great place, never had any scarring or anything.

I've been going here regularly for about 8 months now after trying everything to deal with annoying facial hair over the past few years. I chose Electroyogi after reading lots of great reviews, and was lucky that I randomly chose Vanessa who immediately made me feel comfortable in a situation that I was expecting to be embarrassing and painful. The ambience is more like a salon than a doctor's office, and they always play great music :) I feel lucky to have found this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone who might be struggling like I was!

I have been coming to Electroyogi for electrolysis for about a year and a half. I am very impressed with my results so far and love coming for appointments even though certain areas can be quite painful. All of the electrolygists are highly skilled and I’ve always had a great experience. Parking is always a breeze; The space is attached to the owner Nicole’s home, is completely separate, and is very clean and charming with two treatment rooms, a waiting area, and bathroom. There is complimentary water, tea, coffee and sweets. The app is VERY easy to use to book and cancel appointments. Most of my appointments are with the fabulous Vanessa, and I’ve also seen the owner Nicole and Robin a number of times — all are amazing!
