Korea Tour Company arranged a customized, private tour for my husband and me in November 2025. The communication during the planning and final logistics before the tour were excellent. We settled on a 10 day package tailored to cultural and historic sites and experiences. We had two primary tour guides who were excellent - knowledgeable, responsive to our personal interests and pace and very helpful. The providers for our hotel transfers to/from the airport and train stations were good quality and as promised. All the logistics worked out well. We have already recommended this tour company to people interested in exploring South Korea. In hindsight, we should have planned to stay longer; however, we saw some amazing sites and learned a lot about modern and historic Korea.

We had an excellent experience with Korea Tour Company on our recent family trip to South Korea. Albert and Grey were seamless, responsive, and made planning across multiple cities effortless. In Busan, Austin was a fantastic guide and made our day tour memorable. Our three-day Jeju tour with Sally was perfectly organised—she even adjusted plans around the weather so we could visit each place at the best time. Exceptional Tour Experience with Kori on 11/14/2025! We had an outstanding experience with our tour guide, Kori. He was incredibly patient with our group of seven and shared so much insightful knowledge, not only about Korea’s history, but even photography tips, which our Instagram-loving group really appreciated. He always drove safely, and the van was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Kori is caring, kind, and truly attentive. He left us with such a positive impression of how warm and welcoming Koreans are. We felt taken care of from start to finish. We also want to thank our driver on the last day (11/15/2025)who brought us to Incheon Airport. Even though he didn’t speak much English, his kindness and warm smile made us feel calm and at ease. Grey was fantastic! Communication was effortless, and they made coordinating my trip simple and enjoyable. I’m very satisfied with the experience. Overall, the service was exceptional and made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Was so grateful to Grey for booking me a private tour. I was disappointed with my travel agent who gave up on planning my trip after my flights and hotel was booked. Even though it was Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) I was able to book a wonderful custom tour with a great guide who was kind and very informative.

KTC provided very good response time on initial contact, follow ups, questions and a last minute change request. Our guide stayed beyond his work hours when we had to wait for glasses that we ordered. He was also very flexible and let us change our last scheduled stop so we could get glasses. My one issue was since the Blue House was no longer open to the public, I wasn’t notified so I could suggest a change.

Probably somewhere between 4 & 5 stars. I think they do provide standard tours, but I did a customized tour with them, whereby I gave them a list of places I wanted to visit, and they put the pieces together into a cohesive logistical schedule. We ended up with a schedule that had guides-drivers for some days, just drivers, and some free & easy days. Very responsive and flexible, easy to work with. Not sure if they have their own KTC guides/drivers, but the drivers/guides I worked with in Jeju/Busan/Gyeongjyu/Andong/Seoul all seemed to be sub-contractors. Not a problem there as all of them were helpful, kind, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their respective cities. In particular, shout out to Mr Kim @ Busan, and Mr Austin Choi @Gyeongjyu/Andong. Ms Mia Moon @Busan went the 2nd mile to ensure we could access our accommodations, as the instructions given to check in were confusing (booked through Booking, not KTC). The weather played havoc with our schedule, rainy and very windy on some days. Not a problem for our drivers-guides. They pivoted on the dime to recommend alternatives and were very flexible in accommodating changes when we were tired or wanted to add/drop different sites. Very importantly, almost all of them knew where the good local places to eat were and we enjoyed our lunches very much! Gray Jang, the scheduling manager for KTC is very responsive and is on top of things. We had a few minor hiccups/changes and these were dealt with efficiently and effectively. The one minor note I would flag is for the traveler to check through the various sites for themselves. There are a couple of places that were closed/inaccessible to visitors, but showed up in the schedule because I did not know originally and so asked for them. I caught those on a later review of the schedule and KTC had no problems making changes. (Be nice if they flagged it in the first place). Also it would have been nice if some form of evaluation/feedback be provided by KTC on the schedule in terms of logistical viability, (eg timing, long days, distances, etc) given they are on the ground and are familiar with the local conditions. That said, this might be difficult to do as different travelers have different expectations and worse still, have different attitudes towards feedback! Overall, I would recommend working with KTC especially if the traveler have quirky requests, or are unsure of final plans. They are flexible and easy to work with so that makes planning and execution a lot less stressful!

Korea Tour Company has helped me 3 times to provide private guided tours, all tailor made to my requests, some to lesser-known destinations. One was a five day road trip from Wando, a south-west fishing village after we left Jeju, across country to finally return to Seoul from Gyeongju. Our driver/guide, Mr Choi was with us all the way. He went out of his way to be helpful, considerate, charming and fun. Considering none of us had met before, we were very lucky to all get on so well….myself and two sons. Since then I travelled alone, with Sean who took me to ceramic villages outside of Seoul with evening at Yeouido, and with Austin who provided a terrific overview of Busan attractions. All guides spoke English well, were very informative about Korean history, culture and society. As an older single female I felt extremely safe and well cared for. Korea Tour Company are always willing to cater to all my requests and have helped when other companies couldn’t. I’ll continue to use its services. I think its rates are also very competitive and you can really receive an individual and unique itinerary.

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Kim Hyeong-su as our own personal guide and driver for the day to taking us to Korean Folk Village and Dae Jang Geurm Park. Do not hesitate to use KTC. We had a private tour for 2 days one in Seoul and the other in the DMZ. Albert and Grey were great at organizing and our tour guide Mr Kim Yung Soo was extremely knowledgeable and enhanced our original itinerary by adding additional sites to see. We just finished our tours we booked through the Korea Tour Company of Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju. My dealings with the company throughout the process was very good always getting responses in a timely manner. We had two guides Jasmine for Seoul and Robin for Busan and Gyeongj. Jasmine did an admirable job in introducing to us the various sight of Seoul. Jasmine was punctual and knowledgeable on the various sights we visited. With Robin we spent 1 day during our cruise and 3 days visiting Gyeongju and Busan. When he met us at the dock he was punctual and immediately recommended a change to visit the temple in Busan which we were supposed to visit on a later date, but since our friends where only touring that one day they greatly appreciated since it was an important sight to see. Robin was very knowledgeable and made sure we were happy at all times. At one point I was missing one of my medication and Robin took me to a doctor to get a prescription and then picked up the medication. Overall we were very satisfied with the service that was provided.

We booked a tour with Korea Tour Company for 1 day in Seoul. The guide was excellent and made the most of our 1 day. We are happy that we booked with them and would book again.

I did the full day Seoul private guided tour with Mr. Kimsoo! This was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended to start your trip in korea. Mr.Kimsoo is an excellent, warm and highly knowledgeable guide who takes personal interest in tourists and makes them feel very comfortable. He does this out of passion for meeting new people and is the best guide one could get to start their trip of Seoul and Korea. He took me to the best and oldest food market in Seoul and gave me very good recommendations of places to see and eat in Seoul. We had the pleasure to enjoy a full day tour of Busan with Lucy. We had an incredible day of sightseeing with detailed historical and local information provided to us by Lucy. She was so kind and accommodating to the needs of our group. Our daughter was under the weather and she helped get us find a local Pham resort to get some medicine. She also added an additional stop that wasn’t part of our plan because she knew our group would enjoy the beautiful views and photos. Highly recommend and suggest asking for Lucy as your guide if possible.

We had a great experience in Jeju thanks to the meticulous planning and coordination of Grey as well as our guide and driver, Mickey. We greatly appreciate Mickey's thoughtfulness and flexibility in tailoring the route slightly during the trip itself to ensure the optimal experience for us. He understood as well that we were travelling with an elderly and thus tried to minimize long traveling distances where possible and avoided peak hour traffic to give us plenty of space and time to enjoy the sights. Highly recommended for their great service at very reasonable rates.

Sori is one of the best tour guides that we have met. She is thorough and knowledgeable as most tour guides are. But what sets Sori apart is that she listens to what we were interested in seeing and adjusted her itinerary accordingly. She is very patient and kind and gave us an excellent tour of the highlights in Seoul, S Korea.

I was glad that I had chosen the right company to bring me around when I was in Seoul. Antonio who was our tour guide had bought us to nice and amazing local food which is only usually patronize by the locals. The food is amazing and the price was good too. Though Antonio is already in his 70's, he was very fit and most of the time, we have to catch up with him instead of us waiting for him. He even help us to carry the things that we had bought! He was aware that some of us had motion sickness, he even go to the extend to purchase the locals motion sickness drink and patch for us. Love his personal touch! He is really awesome and jovial.
