Had a full HVAC replacement with Beluga recently. They worked with me on an extremely fair price on a very reliable unit. There was never any pressure to buy on the spot and they only recommended what made sense for me. After the install I had a few issues that had nothing to do with how they installed the HVAC, but just unlucky bad wiring from previous contractors. Beluga handled it with grace and made sure everything was right. It took several trips back, but they never complained and always sent the most friendly techs to handle the issue. Everything is resolved now and all I can say is they did a fantastic job. This business is no joke. They actually know how to take care of their customers. I will be a Beluga customer for life. The honesty and respect they provide is rare to find these days especially in the HVAC industry. Also huge shout-out to Jonathan on their team. That guy is one hard worker and he is extremely thorough and friendly. He is a one of a kind employee, so you will know you are in good hands when you see him coming through.

Our AC was blowing out warm air. I submitted work order on Saturday night and set up appountment for Monday morning between 0800-1000. The technician, Mr. Deron Hock I properly at 8 o'clock in the morning. It was a quick fix for him. He was very professional and thorough. Thank you!

I couple of years back Beluga air did an incredible job installing a new HVAC system in our home. They did such a great job we had them come out to give us a quote on repairing the system at our rental property. As always, the technicians (David D. & Juan S.) were professional, courteous, and patient. They walked through everything with us very carefully and gave us an amazing price. The next day they were onsite, an hour early and didn't leave until the installation was done. They are considerate of our home and always professional. I would recommend Beluga Air to anyone.

Who do I call when my heat goes off? Beluga air. They built the system five years ago and when we woke up yesterday morning it was cold. Called them at 7 am and a tech Dalvin Jimenez came right out. Found the problem right away (took vids and pics). Ordered the part and at 2pm two techs: Jonathan Osorio and Adriana Rodriguez, arrived with the required parts and replaced the blower. All was covered under their great warranty. We were warm and comfortable last night thanks to their hard work. I can't say enough good things about this companies professionalism and skills. If you are looking for a reliable and hardworking HVAC team. This is it.

My place of residence of over 18 years went from a house to a home in an amazing 2 days. When I went into this house I had my daughter, her four children, my son, my wonderful wife, and myself. The house was from 1959 as I could not afford much more but I managed to paid it off. We lived with one bathroom and four bedrooms, I loved the house but as time went by, we had our share of problems with it. As the house got older more problems arose, but the one that was always worse has been the air conditioner putting out less cool air, summer prices going up way over many months of $500 electric bills. Then repairs every year when it got cold and we used the oven many times to keep warm. Part prices rose, then fewer parts, and when we found them it has been weeks. We even wore out a stove. This year was no different. The A/C unit had flooded the heater and water had been standing in the electrical. After research of reading 100s of reviews, my choice Beluga Air. I called Beluga Air, when their technician came by he looked at everything and told me this unit is pretty much dead, it is 38 years old, and showed me so many things wrong, we agreed. I am a retired automotive technician and do know when there is no more life in mechanical devices, or otherwise was going to costs me dearly. So sat down and he showed me some options. None were cheap, but I knew that what he showed me made sense, and I decided on a unit that would save me money in the long run, but was out of my affordably and thought I may have to buy electric heaters to keep the house warm. But I really didn't want that and he told me that they have ways to help with financing my new central unit. So I decided on one way to try and get my financing. I do have good credit and so I got enough credit to pay for the unit. He told me they would be out the next morning. I told him OK but when I figured it in my head the terms were too long and the pay back on the interest was too much. So I could not sleep as I didn't know what I was going to do, but I couldn't do this, so when the service truck showed up I told them I just couldn't do it. I did feel so bad too as I didn't know what too do. I also told the dispatcher that I could not do this, I could not afford it. Was not to long and the owner of Beluga called me. He was so nice and told me there were some other ways I could get financing and he shared them with me. They were better deals and I applied for one and got it. The terms were so good I told them to come back when they could. Two days later this crew drove up to my house and started unloading stuff. This was the same crew from before and they were so polite, nice, and began working right off. It was amazing they worked hard and when the unloaded, everything was better than I could have thought possible. They brought the outside A/C unit and it was the right size for my house, instead of what was in my house when I bought it. They even moved it to a place I asked for and set it up. As time went on they ripped out everything in my tiny attic and it was all disgusting to see what I had up there. They took out my inside central air and heater units and even coordinated a plumber to fix a leak that always flooded my house when we would take a shower. I had not had a shower in way over a year and jonesing for a shower for so long I cried when I got one. After the plumbers left this crew went into overdrive and I felt for the first time I had done the right thing. They worked late into the evening and this sweet small young lady and her counterpart a skinny young man worked so hard to remove and replace all of my ducting. The closer it got done the more excited I was to see a twenty first central unit. They even felt like close family was working for me. What I can say is what they did was so very hard, I can't believe how nice everything is now. I am sitting here in my living room, with tears running down my face as I write this as it is the first time I really felt like this was my home and not just a place to live. They offered to set me up in a motel at their expense, but I am a hard headed and told them no and just because I didn't want for them to spend the money on me. They deserved to make every dollar they earned it. Every one I talked to, even if I didn't meet them, felt like close family as they were there for me, for the quality work they did for me. They made the rest of my life better. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for and I felt like I even cheated them as what they priced me was better than I could have every dreamed of. They charge what they said and it was not cheap at all, it was what I had hoped for, that I would get quality. If you are looking for trustworthy, hard working, quality everything then these are the people for you. A great clean up before they Left. I've been a happy customer of Beluga Air for 3 years now. On December 1, 2025 I realized colder temperatures had arrived and I needed to have my HVAC system checked out before using the heat. Beluga was able to give me a same day appointment. Oscar Yelmi was dispatched. Beluga texted me notification with a picture of Oscar so I knew who to expect. Oscar is very friendly and knowledgeable. My heater is working fine. I have a maintenance contract which covers several visits that are prepaid. Thanks, Oscar and Beluga.

Today's requested service was part of my yearly membership for cleaning, maintenance and any repairs that were needed. Dalvin was prompt to arrive, courteous, and very professional. Beluga Air crushed it again! I needed a new 2 ton mini split for my garage and their HVAC technicians replaced my old unit within a few hours! In addition they installed a Nest thermostat and UV light for my 5-ton unit. Beluga Air helped me when several other San Antonio HVAC companies wouldn't. I'm a Beluga Air customer for life!

Once again, Beluga Air did an excellent job. My blower fan motor on compressor had stopped working and as a consequence the compressor was not functioning due to over pressure. Eddie with Beluga arrived in record time and quickly found the issue. Within 15 mins we were back up and cooling. He checked over the system to ensure proper operation. Shane helped us out today by double checking the water drain line for the air conditioning. He found the problem and another small problem and fixed both at a reasonable cost. No up selling or over charging. We will always recommend them!

After talking with several air conditioning companies we decided on a Carrier Infinity system from Beluga Air. It was a difficult decision because every company seemed professional and they all had quality products comparable to Carrier. But in the end we chose Beluga Air because they seemed to understand our existing system best and offered what was to us a better solution going forward. The installers, Guillermo and Joe, worked 13.5 hours with only a lunch break to get our new system up and running in a day. Our house has only a tiny attic space which meant they had to work from the A/C closet itself and replace the air box above their heads and reattach the air ducts. Not fun I'm sure! The installation itself is neat and professional, they didn't cut corners even as they wrapped up at 11:00 pm. We couldn't be happier with how quiet and efficient the new system is working! Even though they do charge $75 to come out - since it was not clear they remedied the situation. I believe that ratings for companies should be accurate and fair. I use ratings such as this, to decide to use or not use a company. So for me, this is a rather unusual review. I normally would not leave 5 stars for some of the issues I encountered with the installation of my mini-split system. I'm not going to cover all of the issues I encountered for a few reasons: First of all, all companies at one time or another suffer because of the employees failing to live up to the expectations their company sets for them. Unfortunately, I was the recipient of this "falling short." Now, this is what matters the most to me - how the company responds when they have failed to provide the level of service that meets expectations. This is where the 5-star rating comes in. Once the owner of the company was made aware of the situation, he came personally to my home. He IMMEDIATELY took ownership of their failures, profusely apologized and assured me that he would make it right. This entire process took 3 trips by their company to get the job done correctly. During this process, the owner was contacting me personally to keep me updated on the process of the correction. Even in the most difficult time of the installation, the technicians remained polite and professional. I was never presented with any type of unprofessional behavior or attitude. The owner expressed to me that he had a meeting with his employees and let them know that this level of service was unacceptable. There are many companies out there that will try to blame other things or even blame their customers for their failures. There are many companies out there that you will be exhausted trying to get them make it right. So, I'm convinced that the service I initially experienced on this installation was out of character. Unfortunately, I was the one to experience it. But here's the thing....when there is an issue and the company steps up and takes ownership for it and corrects the situation.....that is so refreshing in this day and age. So yes, I was initially displeased with my service. But how it was handled is worthy of the 5-star review. Beluga Air installed my AC and heating units about 3 years ago and added attic insulation and now I have my mini-split system for my garage. Every employee from the phone staff to the technicians to the owner were professional and I really felt that they were on my side to make it right. It is because of the way they handled this, I will continue to recommend Beluga Air, because of their SUPERIOR service.

I have used Beluga Air for a few years now and have n not been disappointed. I am enrolled in their yearly maintenance plan. They have been very responsive to my AC needs. The last service Kevin performed the AC service. He was courteous and professional, explaining what he did and found without trying to upsell. We have had an issue with our heater since our new system was installed 8 months ago (long story). We finally had Beluga Air come to our home to see why the heater would not turn on. The technician discovered that when the hvac company that installed the unit dropped a piece of plastic into the blower unit and the blower was hung and would not run. He fished the plastic out and the heater worked just fine. HOWEVER, while he was there it was noted that the company that installed the system used the old parts from our 28 year old unit which were in very poor condition. In addition, there were many other issues which would prevent the unit from being up to code. (We called the city code enforcement department ande found out that the company did not have a permit to install the unit, nor did it have the unit inspected after installation. Big mistake.) We were extremely happy with the service we received from Beluga air and will continue to use them in the future. They are very good at what they do. FIVE STARS!

I found water dripping in my bathroom, directly below my HVAC unit. Lots of issues, so I decided to invest in a newer technology system to save on utility bills. Got a great unit at a great price. But the best part--as always with Beluga Air was the unparalleled service. Guillermo and Jose showed up around 11am Saturday, and soon discovered there was a lot of water damage on the plywood support for the HVAC unit. They basically replaced all the plywood before they could install the new one. They stayed on the job till well after midnight because they realized it was going to be a warm and very humid evening. They were missing a piece of vent tubing to complete the job, and Guillermo returned Sunday evening to install the tube, essential so I could have heat; critical as it was going to drop from the 80s in the day to the low 40s overnight. So one more time... I'm a huge fan of Beluga Air and their responsive workers. Thank you all.

They have been so so good to me and my family. They came out for routine maintenance of AC in summer and then in the midst of the heat wave, our AC went out. We were out of town and had a house/ dog sitter. They came out the same day - were super responsive and flexible. They're communication and coordination was top notch. There was a bit of an ongoing issue when I got back. I called and they had someone come right out to fix it. Today they came out for the seasonal heating cleaner and they were on time, communicative. Absolutely the best air conditioning service folks I have ever used. Saw them on Yelp and gave them a call. Response was quick and timely. Beluga came out and gave us a very fair estimate for the work to be done. Actually, explained and showed us photos of what had happen to the unit & why. Appointment was set and mechanics Jose Q. and Gabriel came out as scheduled, replaced plenum, re-connected ductwork, etc. and completed the job. Both mechanics were professional and very knowledgeable. Went above and beyond to advise us each step of the way. Best mechanics I have seen in a long time. We had little air coming thru the ductwork. The A/C closet however was very cool. Showed us with photos, that the a/c box that is usually taped up on 4 sides was not even taped on the back side of the unit at all. Another company that replaced the coil failed to seal the backside of the unit about a year ago. This cause moisture to build up in the plenum and make the other 3 sides that were taped to fail. The accumulated moisture caused the plenum to come apart. Pieces of that had fallen into the unit. If we had turned on the heat, our condo would have burned down. Thank you, Beluga Air, for correcting this possible deadly condition. We will only be using Beluga Air, Jose Q & Gabriel in the future. Honesty, knowledgeable and experienced; greatly appreciated. I called regarding my A/C not cooling and was told a technician could come out within the hour!!!! What? Grrrrreat. We were at 105 degrees outside and temperature was rising inside. The technician texted he was on his way, and I also received a call. The a technician was professional and extremely kind. He checked the unit indoor and out and diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes as a broken capacitor. He was able to replace it get our unit up and running within 45 minutes. His service was impeccable. The price for the labor, part, and timing of the service couldn't have been better.

Beluga worked us into their schedule late on a Friday night when our AC went out. They notified us when they were on their way. Michael arrived right on time and had replaced the capacitor replaced in less than an hour. AC was back up and running like new. Fair price. Highly recommend.

Our technician, Raul was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose and repair our unit efficiently and at a reasonable price. Even though we have a home warranty, we decided to call Beluga air since the home warranty company couldn't get out here for at least two days, and in this heat we didn't want to wait. From the new HVAC system to the Quality follow-up, Beluga Air was amazing. Their response time from the first call to showing up was quick. The next day, the new units were installed and we no longer had to sleep in hot house. They complete the CPS rebate and sent all the documents needed to send to CPS. A Quality Manager came out about a week later and got a few out the same day to correct my concerns. All the guys involved from beginning to end were friendly and professional. We will definitely use Beluga Air again.

Shane was the 2nd technician from Beluga Air to come out and replace the part they ordered after diagnosing the problem. He too was very thorough and took the time to check the entire unit and explain everything to me. I am very happy with Beluga air!

Fantastic work from this company at a fair price. They were quick to schedule and assess our system (a home we just purchased that is a few years old). They replaced two thermostats, recharged our Freon, and redid some duct work for better air flow. Our a/c is running so much better and more balanced in the south Texas heat!

I never had the feeling like I was being sold something I didn't want or need nor did I have to question what the repair to my AC unit really needed. Big thank you to my technician Shane and Beluga Air. Was having issues with my A/C unit for about 24 hours, gave them a call in the morning and they were able to resolve my problem same day. TLDR if you don't want to read my novel below: - Goodman may not be the best system, you may consider upgrading to a better brand if it's in your budget -- hoping ours does alright - Beluga installed our new system in 1 day! Very impressive. - Joe, the owner is very attentive to his customers. We had a few hiccups with our system, but he goes out of his way to address these promptly (and this deserves 5 stars). ---------------------- Been a year now since we had our AC + Furnace installed by these guys, so I think it's time for a review. First of all, I think they are very competitive pricing compared to other companies in San Antonio. To our new install experience now: It was a 100+ degree day in July 2022, and we were trying to stay cool with our high risk dependent, the diabetic cat. One morning, we noticed the AC wasn't getting our house cooled down. Oh no! Our kitty cat started panicking as he realized he may end up having to jump in water to keep cool. Not acceptable. He meowed at us, and we knew it was time to get this fixed. Beluga was able to come out within a week. They sent 2 techs to install our new system, a dual stage Goodman (AC compressor and air handler+furnace combo). On install day, the 2 install techs arrived promptly in the morning. I was also ready, with a mist bottle on ice and a cooler of beer (for me, these guys are very professional and stuck with water) so I could brave the 110+ degree attic with them. I spent the entire day with them, as I like to learn how stuff works, especially when I am paying a pretty penny to have work done for me. They answered all of my questions and did not mind me being there at all. One note about the Goodman: it is Bluetooth enabled for HVAC maintenance only (not designed for non-HVAC techs). This may be something to consider if you are cyber security focused, or are looking for something simpler. In addition to this, it's also a "communicating" system. So there's complicated circuit boards outside as well as in your air handler. If anything goes wrong with these, let's just say I'm glad I have a warranty and hope there aren't any issues supplying these boards in the future. There's essentially a full computer network inside your heat/AC these days! There were a few hiccups with the install, but the owner of Beluga, Joe, came to my house personally to resolve these things after work one day. And this is where Beluga really shines. Although I probably won't necessarily go with a Goodman unit again in the future, Beluga has had my back the whole year. We had the compressor lock up on us a couple months ago, but they are holding true to the warranty and installed a new hard start capacitor kit (as per Goodman's recommendation). The AC has been running all summer now (no more lock-ups), and I am confident if there are any follow on issues Beluga will be out to house in a jiffy to honor our 10 year warranty.

We just had all three AC units replaced by Beluga Air and our experience was wonderful. As you can imagine, replacing 3 old units is a huge investment so we shopped around and got several bids. The owner, Joe came out and impressed us right away with his character and knowledge. He gave a bid lower than some of the others we had (by a lot!) plus my wife and I felt very comfortable with him. You can tell he is very involved with his crews and the work they do. When it came time to do the work they showed up on time, no hiccups, no problems. They just knocked it out! This company is wonderful. His assistant was also very engaging and knowledgeable and he was there when Joe wasn't. Overall I'm super happy with our decision to go with Beluga Air. If you are in the market for a new AC system give these guys a call. You won't regret it.

The process was smooth from inquiry to setting up an appointment (just a couple days later). Another all -star visit. We have dealt with several HVAC companies in the area but have never been satisfied with the quality of service until we called Beluga when they installed a new heating/cooling unit. (see a previous review by me about that). This visit Brandon Patrick came out to do the second service check for the new unit. Everything was running a-ok. He is a very personable and conscientious man who is a fine representative for the company. He was here nearly two hours going over the system: checking electricals, acid cleaning parts, checking drain lines and cleaning them. He did a plethora of other servicing steps to insure our AC unit handles the upcoming 100 degree Texas summer. He ran through the check list he used with me at the end of the visit, explaining not only what he did but why it was important. Who does this kind of great customer service in today's world? In short I'm glad we chose Beluga for our heating and cooling needs. Brandon is an excellent rep for your company and did an exceptionally fine job of answering my many- and often silly- questions. Give him a raise!!!

From the time I spoke to Carla at Beluga Air to the technician, Raul-they have been pleasant, friendly, professional & prompt (as promised). A/C Tech Raul was communicating every step completed or about to do-explaining on the phone app. Again, professional and knowledgeable. TY Beluga Air! Mason came out and gave our entire system a very thorough inspection. He cleaned and checked all the parts that needed attention and was able to explain what he did in ways that was easy to understand. I would definitely recommend him and the company! He did not pressure me to replace anything, just let me know what condition everything was in and gave a good timeframe on the life of our system.

We called Beluga Air to give us a quote for replacing our ductwork. Of all the AC companies we met with, Beluga Air provided us with hands down the most courteous, down-to-earth, and fair consultation. They were able to address all of our concerns and questions with honesty, give us a quality solution to a troublesome layout, and did not push for the hard "upsell". Last time I called these guys, it was too late. AC was already out and we were happy to see them arrive and fix it. I already left that review and it was good. THIS time they were the ONLY people I called when my AC started acting up. Got the schedule set and Michael R. arrived a little early and was done with the full inspection and repair quickly. Nothing major wrong, but it was only running at about 70% so I had the recommended (and soon to be necessary) capacitor repair made now. I hope that means I can continue being super cool and not worry about my AC going out either

I can honestly say that this is a great company to hire if in need of any AC service. We have had other AC companies come out to our home, and look at our AC system that has been causing us some trouble for a long minute. Not only is beluga AC a reliable company, it is also affordable, and Jose the owner, makes sure the job is done right. We had a situation where some pipe was leaking that was penetrating through our kitchen ceiling. Jose took responsibility for it, and made sure that that was fixed as well. I highly recommend hiring Beluga air if you are in need of any AC repair as I can vouch, that they not only repaired what was previously done wrong but corrected all of it the right way!

So far I am very happy with this company. Just had our air handler replaced by them. They were very punctual, professional and kept us informed every step of the way. We had been using another company for our annual maintenance but will probably use Beluga in the future. Our previous company came out for maintenance and told us our coil was leaking quoting us prices to replace the coil alone or the entire unit. Got a second opinion from Beluga after reading good reviews. After a thorough inspection, the technician could not find any leak. He did inform us that it was not functioning optimally due to age and made suggestions for future repairs but did not push sales or repairs at this time. Regardless we asked for an estimate and we're surprised the price was about the same as the other company but included a lot more work. We opted to get the work done now rather wait for an surprised breakdown in the middle of a blazing hot summer. We were also surprised to find that the previous company was not performing a thorough and complete maintenance compared to the service that Beluga performed

Recently had a new whole unit installed with this company as they were the most reasonably priced for what I needed. After install I identified a few issues with cooling quickly in Texas , however, the owner Joel came out with his installer to assess the issue and made repairs with in a couple of days and retrained his crew on why the issues occurred. He installed a new thermostat and larger intake at no additional cost!

Technician Oscar did a great job suggesting and pointing exactly what was wrong with our system. Took pics and all and broke it down. Nice and kinder which I appreciated. I will def do business again with them.

Selected Beluga Air based on reviews. Scheduled an annual inspection and check up before summer. The tech was prompt, professional and explained everything he was going to do. He took pictures of the items he inspected and gave me a sheet showing anything that was good, or might need maintenance or replacement. we ended up signing up for an annual maintenance program because for the $, it seemed a good deal based on the amount work that takes place 2x a year. I was pleased with the experience and would recommend them.

I needed someone that could come and check my heating and cooling systems in a time crunch. They were immediately available to schedule the same or next day. Hard to find these days. They were 100% up front with prices and kept their word. On time and reliable and straight forward

Beluga Air has replaced all 3 of our A/C units in the past 5 years or so. The other day one of the units stopped working and water was pooling in the pan. My wife called Beluga Air and they sent out a technician the next day to troubleshoot and repair/fix the system. They were professional and did a great job. We have never had a bad experience with them and have recommended them to family and friends.

We just had a brand new AC installed (because our 20+ year old one was not gonna make it another summer and we knew it) We got a quote from a big name company and suffered from sticker shock. After a little research I came across Beluga Air. They offered us a more efficient system, 10yr parts AND LABOR warranty, and NEW attic insulation (because I'm sure that stuff up there is original to our '78 home) and they are helping us complete our CPS rebates for a few hundred back for the energy improvements. And all of this was less than the other company for JUST the lower efficiency ac system! I can see why every single one of their 70+ reviews is 5 stars. All staff were friendly, they were responsive, and provided updates on scheduled arrival times. So if you are in need of service consider checking them out!

Beluga Air is a five star business. We used to be customers of John Wayne. *I have never seen such unabashedly shameless up selling and crazy pricing, as I did when we used John Wayne. Our relationship ended when they tried to charge over $600 for the replacement of a thermostat and their client, my aunt, was 89 years old and had signed up for every service plan they offered!! Isn't there a law against that type of scheming? Needless to say, after I found a thermostat on Amazon for $27, the Jon Wayne employee stuttered his way out of the house and I closed down their account with Jon Wayne. Beluga Air responded to my call and replaced the thermostat for 50 bucks. Beluga Air is fast, fair, efficient, responsive, affable, customer service oriented and pleasant to do business with. If something goes wrong with your air conditioning system, please call him. Joe and his crew have never steered me wrong. Above all else, in times like this, businesses need to conduct honest business.

Beluga Air came out in March 2022 for a tune-up. In late April, we noticed that the AC drip pan was full and water was flowing out of an exterior drain line. This happened late at night, and I contacted Beluga Air immediately. The very next day, they fit me into their schedule and had a tech out here. He was patient, explained the issue, and resolved it free of charge, since they were just out here not too long ago. They stand by the quality of their service, and I wouldn't hesitate to contact them in the future. Go with Beluga Air. You won't be disappointed.

We recently moved into a home that came with an aged HVAC system and a ductless mini split system. Unfortunately, both systems failed about a month after we moved in. We found Beluga Air and from day one we were treated like a priority. Mike came out, inspected both systems and explained our options. At no time did I feel like he was trying to pressure us or upsell. Instead, I was given several options to choose from, and it was clear to me that Beluga would do their best to make us happy regardless of our choice. Mike was a pleasure to talk to - he's very knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to help develop a strategy to resolve your HVAC issues. Due to the age and condition of our main HVAC system (25 years), and in view of the questionable quality and intermittent reliability of the ductless system (unknown brand, no warranty), we decided to replace both systems. Beluga had us set up for an install within two (2) days and dispatched Guillermo and Brandon to install our new systems. I can't tell you how thankful I am for Guillermo and Brandon's hard work. They removed our old systems and replaced them both with expert precision and professionalism. It wouldn't be fair to say that they went the extra mile for us - it was more like an extra 10 miles - just to make sure we would be squared away and set up for success. For example, after removing our old HVAC unit, Guillermo cleaned out the HVAC closet - he removed dust, debris and any old particulates that could effect the new system. He even trimmed the drywall closet cover so that it would fit our new system. This is just one example, but, there are many more to cite. If you're looking for an HVAC company, Beluga Air is the way to go. These folks are true professionals that take pride in their work. They care about you, the quality of their work, and your long-term happiness. You won't be disappointed!

Best AC company in the SA metro area, hands down! I have used a handful of different servicing companies over the last 7 years and Beluga took the bar and raised it to the sky. My 25 year old AC system was in desperate need of a tune-up as the hot days are approaching. I called on a Monday, let them know what I was needing and was put on their schedule for two days later (crazy quick turnaround). I got an A/C tune-up and annual maintenance/1 year service agreement for a price that was unbelievably fair. The gentlemen that came out to complete the service (Raul, Brandon, and Guillermo) were so friendly and professional. They were efficient and thorough. They shared really valuable info and politely recommended helpful options without pressuring/pushing me to purchase anything outside of what I requested. I felt a bit silly finding out the reason my heater wasn't coming on was that the gas was turned off but they were very nice and honest. They checked the system and answered all of our questions. Definitely going to call them if I have any other issues or eventually need my system replaced.

The other company showed up but decided that he didn't want to have to climb a ladder to get to our HVAC, so he said he would have to reschedule. After two days of waiting to hear back, I decided to move forward with Beluga. The owner Jose, showed up on a Saturday morning as planned. He let me look over his shoulder and ask questions as he was doing his work. He took the time to break things down since I'm a new home owner. After seeing the condition that one of my units is in, Jose could have easily taken advantage of the situation but he took the time to explain the options that I had when it comes to replacing vs repairing. I really cannot recommend beluga air more. I have never been so satisfied with an ac/heating company. I have a service plan with them and recently my ac stopped working due to clogged drain line. Anthony came out today for an AC tune-up and he was awesome! He was very polite and professional. He wore his mask the whole time, and even put the little shoe booties on when he came in. I had lots of questions and he answered them all thoroughly and was pretty straight up about everything. He didn't get irritated with all the questions and didn't try to punk me with services or things I didn't need. He did say the capacitor was reading at almost the borderline level. We did have him change it out since he was already here vs it probably going out in the summer and us having to suffer the heat until someone was available to come. And No he did not try to scare us like that would happen, we just wanted to make sure we are summer ready since it's spring and it's already crazy hot. I will be using Beluga again in the future.

After being with Airtron for 2 years because of having a new build home I'm so glad my 2 year warranty is up! Gave Beluga Air a call to schedule routine check before the heat of the summer melts everyone. They had plenty of appointments available and it was $30 cheaper than a lot of other places at $59.99. The set up was easy and getting texts about when they are on their way was super helpful. Raul G. was so nice and knowledgeable! Recommended cleaning and sanitizing ducts which I did because of the five doggos that reside here. I can already tell a huge difference in air quality. He even clean the A/C closet for me which the builders had left a mess. This company is a true diamond in the ruff when it comes to anything A/C!

I'm in Round Rock, but have a rental property in SA. My new tenant called on a Friday night as the AC was not coming on. I contacted Beluga Air around 8PM and by 10:30 had an appointment for the next day. I told Beluga I thought the issue was a thermostat I had recently installed and they gave me a very fair estimate. Having repair people try to scam me in the past I decided to drive to SA to be there to avoid a "the unit needs to be replaced but we have a sale going on now and can do it for $3000", call. Before I got to my house the repair person called me, and informed me it was simply a blown fuse and he already replaced it. Joe came out and did a PM on my residential AC unit. Real nice guy and did a good job. He showed me a couple things about my system I didn't know, and shared a couple tips with me. I would recommend these guys. I normally hate AC companies because they come in with some big sales pitch, and want you to spend a ton of money but Beluga is fair, and does good work. The company who put the AC unit in my new build house has terrible reviews on Yelp, so I will never call them and have Beluga do the service instead.

I had a rep to come out to do a water test and Gabriel was very professional at his job and did very well with the presentation. I've been a customer with Beluga Air for almost two years. Their service has been nothing short of phenomenal. Joe has always been so accommodating with taking care of our HVAC needs. Also he seems to do a good job with hiring the most professional and courteous technicians. I was just talking to my wife today about how glad we are to have found such a great HVAC company!

Our project: Install two new wifi thermostats, at both locations I needed a C-wire hooked up at the master controller (my terminology). We got quotes from about three companies and Beluga Air was the most reasonable and they were the most professional from step 1. However it turned out that we had a small issue with the install of our two provided new wifi thermostats. Long story short, we have a high efficiency dual-stage system that wouldn't work with one of our provided thermostats. Should it have been caught before installing the first time, yes, but after discovering the issue Beluga Air returned and rectified the situation to our liking with minimal extra cost to us. (The extra cost was only the difference in what the American Standard thermostat cost was - sourced at their cost). Sure we had a small issue, but the you can tell the most about a company with how they deal with it when service recovery needs to happen. We will use Beluga Air again without a doubt.

This company is on the money. The tech called and wanted to come earlier! When Also arrived he went straight to it and checked everything. He let me know the issues and finished quickly. I thought the price was good to start but when i signed up for a yearly plan that was cheaper than 2 visits, they knocked even more off the service call. Everything was very professional. Great company and very knowledgeable about HVAC systems. The techs are great and explains everything that will need to be done and what they are doing. I originally called this company out about a month ago. We recently bought our first home but noticed our master bedroom was super hot throughout the day/night. The owner came out and he was very helpful and explained he could add a new duct to our master bedroom or he could amp up the unit to blow out more air. I chose to run more airflow to see if it'll suffice and at just the flip of a switch we've been satisfied ever since! Because of that great prompt service I called them out again. Our AC had been jumping from 73 to 82 degrees throughout 3 days. Anthony and Aldo came out to help and were very respectful and knowledgeable of the issue and it was the capacitor that needed to be replaced and Anthony took the time to explain its function within the unit. He answered every question I had. He was very patient with me even though it was a Friday evening at 6pm. Very prompt. The repair man took a look and showed me what exactly the problem was. What I though was going to be a $2k job, if not more, was only $175. I totally recommend.

AC stopped working after a few months with a new unit. It could've been the compressor, but for such a new unit that probably wasn't the main culprit. These guys went to bat for me so the manufacturer would better honor the warranty and provide a whole new unit instead of just the part, and they got it installed all in the same day. All the guys seem to really know their stuff, work hard, and are extremely courteous and professional all through (and seem good with dogs). Definitely the best professional experience I've had here.

Wow, they were fast to respond and very knowledgeable.. he fixed it in no time in the same day I called and the price was very fair.. I had called " Will" Fix it, since they were the ones that installed it.. and told them it was an emergency case cause it was so hot outside and the ac was not working. They gave me an appointment for 2 weeks later.. and they were going to charge me $70. Just to come see it in 2 weeks .. when I called to cancel them they said they would waver the cost and still come and give a second opinion.. I said I didn't need one .. it was already fixed ... this is my new go to people for my ac from now on....

Hands down best AC company.. I am always skeptical when calling people out to work on my house especially AC companies. Our AC blower stopped working, fairly new system 5 years old. Jose is great, he showed me what was wrong and explained everything to me. Price was more then I expected so I called several other places and was shocked some other AC companies quoted almost double the price that Jose quoted me.. happy to have found Beluga Air, after doing my research on the parts installed I am happy to say you can trust Beluga air. Joe at Beluga Air is the real deal. I have worked with several other A/C companies in San Antonio and was never satisfied with their work. I always felt like I was getting taken advantage of. I have never felt that way dealing with Beluga Air. From the start Joe has always been like a friendly neighbor ready to help. He has done repairs and a new install for me and every time he has been really professional. Beluga Air doesn't scam you with trip fees and inflated prices. They are the real deal. I will not call anyone else to service my units. I have found my A/C company for life.

As a homeowner, when your AC goes out, you panic and realize you need a good, honest company to help you with repairs. First of all, the quickness of their replies and flexibility to schedule ASAP is impressive. Joe and his crew have come over twice to my home and we're honest,friendly, and did their work efficiently. They were even friendly to my dogs, who were quite attending to their every move lol I recommend and if I ever need to, will call again in a heartbeat.

He didn't persuade me into taking any specific course of action but instead gave me all the facts in what was happening to my AC unit and provided possible options for me to decide on taking. They didn't just repair my unit; they also improved it by adding a safety shut-off feature to prevent the same malfunction from happening again. The guys at Beluga Air are awesome. They responded to my message within 10mins and were at my home diagnosing the problem in less than 2 hours. They were professional, courteous and honest. They gave me multiple options for the issue and they fixed my A/C right away. I plan on calling them if ever I have a problem again with my unit.

Worked with them three times at two different houses. Always polite and get the job done promptly. Not cheap, but when it comes to big projects they don't hit you hard. I found them because someone else wanted about $1,000 (I think it was for the motor) and I had them recommended to me as a second opinion. Beluga (back before the name change) charged me $500, so about half the price. Even more important, it still works!

The quick response from this company really impressed me. I wasn't sure if they would be able to fit me in the same day, but surprisingly they were able to. They are very professional and personable. They listen to our issue and efficiently checked our system to make sure everything was running well. They thoroughly completed an 18 point tune up and finished up with the BioFresh treatment. The BioFresh treatment is AMAZING!!! My house smells fresh and clean. We can all breath better now. The BEST thing about the company is that it's family owned and operated. I love giving family businesses a chance because they are more personable and honest. Oh and did I mention their prices are affordable and a lot cheaper than the competitors? Beluga Air is the absolute best AC Company in San Antonio! We initially called Beluga Air to come and service our current central AC system. While they were here, they gave us an excellent estimate on a ductless AC system for our addition. Their work is high quality and their prices are excellent! They showed up at my house on time, worked promptly and professionally in installing a ductless AC system in our house and left everything tidy and clean. We are extremely happy and impressed by Beluga Air's professionalism and work ethic.

Man, what to say about them? How about, They're COOL! Get it!? Sorry about the dad joke, but in all seriousness, these guys were pretty cool and professional. My wife and I were in the process of selling our first home and we wanted to make sure the AC unit / heater were working well. These guys made sure everything was up and running with no issues. They cleaned everything to make sure the people who bought our house had the best ac and heating possible. I contacted them through yelp to get prices on a tune up and they were the cheapest of all the companies we messaged on yelp (and honestly, the best service we've ever had). They were on time and they take credit cards/debit so they're in touch with us young folk who use cards and phones and what not for our everyday life. Now that summer is right around the corner, I know I'll be calling them to do a tune up on our new house.

This is the only AC company you need to call!!! Joe from Priority 1st Air was super prompt in his response for service in Yelp, and we had an appointment set within a couple days. The day of the appointment they showed up on time, were direct and honest with cost options and what needed to be repaired. Within a few days of the initial appointment, we had our entire system replaced. After our experience this is the only company we will use from now on.

Joe, the owner is outstanding in this field of HVAC. He is professional, courteous and very reasonable. You see the passion in his business and I am so pleased in finding him for our new air conditioner. We had to get a new system both inside and outside units. Joe kept us updated throughout the process and even showed us how old and moldy our old system was. He's upfront and honest, not trying to sell you things you don't need. After 9 days with NO Air Condition and getting tired of being ripped off by American Home Shield who also sent us a company that bailed on our service call...I went on-line and chose to call a company who had great reviews to see if they could bail us out of our situation. I called Priority 1st and spoke to Joe the company owner. I explained my situation and he stated he could be at my residence in 30 minutes. 20 minutes later the Priority 1st van was parked in front of my residence. We did the walk thru and sat down to discuss what options we had. A day later and we have an entire new system...inside and out. Something the other company couldn't do in over a week. Now what impressed me the most was the attention to detail...the little things that most companies would try to up-sell you. With our old system we had our evaporator core filling up our drain pan(s) with water from condensation about every 3 days. So much so that it was overflowing and staining my downstairs ceiling and flooding my downstairs coat closet. We had to have a small shop vac handy to suck up the excess water daily. So Priority 1st installed a float valve on the top drain pan so if water accumulated the float would rise and shut off the power to the system. An extra little gadget to give us piece of mind that we will never have water overflowing to the downstairs area again. Since the plywood under the core/handler was always getting wet...it looked bad (see pic). So again that little extra touch. They gave the plywood a coat of this gray waterproof sealant so it would not get wet anymore or rot if by chance it did overflow. Originally our home had a 14 seer but Priority 1st was able to give us a deal on a 16 seer system for just a few hundred bucks more. Could not pass that up. My outside condenser is almost twice the size of the old unit. Plus this system is a variable speed system so it starts blowing air slowly and builds up gradually so that you don't have that instant rush of air blowing out your vents. There are a lot of companies out there with a fleet of trucks who don't really consider customers a priority anymore. They will quote you some outrageous price and give you a take it or leave it ultimatum. I'm all for supporting the little guy who is starting out and who is honest and hard working and pride themselves on customer service. I know this is a long review but I wanted to make sure I give these guys justice. Joe and his son Anthony did one hell of a job for us and I am happy to refer Priority 1st and proud to give them 5 STARS.

I requested quotes from five different companies, three responded that day, one the next, and one did not. Joe, who owns Priority 1st Air, was the first, calling back within ten minutes of me submitting the requests. I mentioned that I would not be home that day but was hoping that he could come by within the next couple of days to take a look at my AC that was not blowing cold air. He said he could be there the next day between 8 to 10am. Next day, he arrived at 8:30, quickly diagnosed the problem as a dead capacitor in my condenser unit, and had a replacement capacitor in his truck that he was able to replace on the spot. The work was done and my AC was running cool again within a half-hour. Joe was super friendly, offered explanations, and answered all of my questions. He offered some preventative services in the future if I wanted, but was never pushy at all, and no unit upgrades tried to be sold. This company can be summed up with three words: Speed, Service, and Integrity. I would recommend them to my family, friends, and neighbors, and will definitely use them again.

We are extremely pleased with the prompt service we received from Priority 1st Air. They responded quickly when our clogged AC unit started leaking into our living room and offered a free estimate (not a trip charge just to tell me what's wrong, like some of the other companies). My husband and I were pleased with their professionalism, speed and friendliness. Priority 1st was able to get our AC back up and running within an hour. They also were priced considerably lower than the 5 other companies we received quotes from. Highly Recommend!

My AC Air Handler (Inside Unit) had a leak in the coil. Called around and got various quotes from different AC Company's right here on Yelp - Most recommended I replace the unit altogether. The pricing I got back from all these other AC COs that are somehow rated high on here gave me pricing like if I was putting another down payment on my house as opposed to buying a new Inside Unit... I got to talking with Joe and felt like I wasn't getting hustled or sold on something that I didn't need. He gave me quite a few options and the pricing was very reasonable - He was actually more affordable than "my" original AC guy and my moms AC Guy. Since I work during the week I gave a key to my house, so he could do the work. He gave me periodic updates and sent me photos of the job - Everything is fine and nothing is missing lol...so that shows that he's also trust worthy. I don't why other AC COs charge so much after going through this process. I'd recommend Joe to anyone looking for good advice, a reasonable priced unit and also a very good warranty!
