Spoke with John today and even though my case was not to be taken on he explained in great detail why it didn’t make sense and was extremely personable in doing so. I had contact with other firms that came to the same answer but were nowhere near as helpful. For what little interaction I had I would highly suggest.

The Office Manager at McKiggan Hebert is fantastic. I can’t get over how professional and wonderful she is. She is always so friendly and clear when responding. I can not say enough good things about Liz, their intake specialist and John the attorney who fights for you. Despite knowing that they couldn’t take my case because of the statutes that don't allow anyone to take the case of someone who lives in a province that the attorneys are not licensed to practise law in, which keeps it fair to all attorneys and protects the ability to practice there jobs in a fair environment and protects their ability to earn their living, so I agree with it, but despite knowing they couldn’t take my case, they still called me and listened to my story of my abuse as a child, empathized with me, congratulated me for having the strength to still get though life, and just listened. It was one of the most caring experiences I have ever had. They listened to me and while telling me they were unable to help, recommend a powerhouse team of lawyers that they said were some of the top guys in law for abuse cases, as they work with with lawyers from all over Canada with a collection of the top abuse lawyers in Canada in an effort to give them all an opportunity to learn from the other lawyers, so they can help build some of the best abuse lawyers in the country. The reeeeeaaally care about fighting for children that were hurt by sexual abuse as a child, and it shows in spades. These guys are the real deal and they will fight for in a way that no one ever has. Even though they were unable to help me because of the statutes, they cared more about what happened to me than most of the people in my life and they listened which is massive for anyone that has suffered sexual abuse as a child and I wouldnt change my experience with them for anything. They listened, they cared and when they couldn’t take my case, they recommend people that were that are some of the best abuse lawyers is a the county, despite not making any income off of the referral, they just cared about me getting the justice that I deserved. I would not hesitate in using them. These people are the real deal and I am so incredibly excited about my experience with them. They made me feel incredibly valued and worth fighting for
