Dr Zhang is the most thorough, efficient and trustworthy optometrist I’ve encountered. Reading some of the lower rated reviews completely does not do justice to the service she provides. Those reviews were to either sabotage her business with ill intent or the patient has unrealistic expectations that no medical practitioner can ever meet. Trust the 5 star reviews.

Dr. Zhang is a very professional optometrist. She is very patient and nice

I initially came to see Dr. Zhang for a different eye issue, but she identified and resolved another problem that had been causing me immense suffering for 9 months. Her treatment gave me relief in less than 24 hours! What makes Dr. Zhang stand out is her exceptional expertise and genuine understanding of her patients' suffering and pain. Before seeing her, I had consulted 5 different doctors including an allergist, dermatologist, my family doctor, and 2 walk-in clinic physicians. I underwent 2 sets of blood tests and 2 sets of allergy tests (both skin prick and skin patch testing), yet no one could provide a diagnosis or effective treatment. Dr. Zhang succeeded where everyone else had failed. I'm very hopeful for a full recovery under her care. Highly recommend!

Had an excellent experience from booking to appointment all within 24 hours. I was initially skeptical about seeing someone new, but my perception changed the moment I walked in. The entire experience was highly professional. Dr. Vivian is incredibly thorough, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Her knowledge and professionalism are unmatched. She quickly identified all the issues and offered effective solutions, even providing a complimentary pair of contact lens trials to ensure the perfect fit for my vision. Excellent, honest eye doctor who gave our family so much valuable information on both near-(myopia) and far-sightedness, and didn't force us to buy glasses blindly like the other eye doctor across the street also on cathedral street, because the eye issue was actually temporary in our situation. She even was able to explain to the kids and used simple toy props! She made the experience a breeze and was so wonderful with handling the kids! Thank you for your professionalism and courage to tell us the right message despite the difficulty. Dr Vivian Zhang was absolutely right, the eye situation resolved by itself and no glasses were needed!!
