My very independent-minded, 95-year old mom recently told me, "This place [Hidden Springs] is very good. You should tell your friends that this would be a good home for their parents." That is extraordinary praise from someone who never wanted to leave her own house. From the kids' perspective, Hidden Springs is amazing and it is the team that makes all the difference! We are certain that our mom is comfortable and well cared for. The management team is great and works with the families to ensure the best care for each person. The nursing staff is highly attentive and communicates well with the family. The doctor comes from a nearby family practice and takes the time to get to know each resident. Hidden Springs is located on a lovely knoll near the Skyline Drive. Both the outdoor and indoor spaces are clean, attractive, and fully accessible. The activities team offers various in-house options and at least one outing each week. The dining team proudly serves food suited to older tastes without being boring. We highly recommend Hidden Springs Senior Living to any family looking for a safe, loving, comfortable home for an older family member. The emphasis is on living!

Making the decision to move our parents into assisted living was a difficult decision, however, the moment I entered Hidden Springs and began meeting the staff, I knew we had found a special place that would love and take care of our parents. Located in a beautiful setting, I continue to enjoy visiting with my parents and seeing the care they are receiving as I also get to know the amazing staff that makes Hidden Springs so special.

My dad has been a resident at Hidden Springs for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. The nursing staff is attentive, ensuring he is well taken care of, maintaining his hygiene, and keeping me informed of any concerns. The front office staff, from billing to marketing, have also been a pleasure to work with, consistently going above and beyond. Having experienced two other assisted living facilities, I can confidently say that Hidden Springs stands out due to its smaller size and truly personalized care. My mother-in-law is a resident at Hidden Springs and it has been the biggest blessing to her and our family. Hidden Springs has compassionate, attentive staff; delivers high standards of care; and sits on top of a beautiful mountain with calming trees and wildlife all around. And so importantly, the owners are fabulous. They are involved and care about each of the residents; always extending kindness and truly taking the time to help each resident grow emotionally and physically stronger.

My friends and family ask, "how is your mom and how are you liking the center where she is?" Honestly, other than wishing Mom still lived on her own at home, we know Hidden Springs is the absolute best place she can be. The facility is home, it feels like home, smells like home, and the tremendous care and compassion she receives there could not be better! Placing our Mom in a facility due to dementia has been and is heartbreaking, but we have never worried about her care and our saving grace is knowing she is in the best place she can be. Our Mom is SAFE, she eats well, is safely taking her meds and participates in almost all of the activities, which is a lot! Thank you to the owners and the entire staff for all you do daily!

My family and I are very happy with the care and attention my Mother-in-law receives at Hidden Springs Senior Living. The Owner, nurses, aids, cooks, and front desk all seem to care about the residents and their quality of life. Communication has been very good as well. With advancing dementia we could not continue to take care of Mom at home; We are thankful that she is now in a pleasant environment where her needs are being met and she is doing well.

It is a blessing to be able to have my husband in assisted living where the location, facility, staff and amenities reflect the love and dedication of its founders, the Davison family, Vicki, Daryl & Aron. The facility is immaculately clean and full of light and space. Three distinct units address special levels of assistance and the staff are very caring. While a move to Hidden Springs was a difficult decision to make, the transition was as seamless as possible through the coordinated efforts of the Director of Marketing (Courtney North) and staff of Hidden Springs, Warren Memorial Hospital, the Veteran’s Administration, and our family. I recently had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life. My Mother was diagnosed with dementia, and was unable to take care of herself on her own any more. Not only that, but she was 1,300 miles away in Texas. I had no idea where to go, or how to access help for her here in Virginia. So I asked my friends and colleagues at my school. As teachers, we are experts in taking care of people, and I knew my teaching friends would have great recommendations. Every one of them with any kind of experience in elder care recommended Hidden Springs. Courtney, and the rest of the staff, had to work extra hard to make my Mom's transfer from a rehab facility to HSSL as smooth as it was. We have often become emotional together thinking of the condition Mom was in before to how meaningful her life is now!
