Can’t thank these boys enough! Such an insanely incredible day. We caught 35 Mahi Mahi and had the most amazing time. They helped us out with everything and really made us feel like friends on board. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We went out on a rough windy day, and Gav still managed to get us the bag limit of snapper along with a nice Kingfish and other species. Have been on all the other charters and he is by far the best

My dad and I had the most incredible day out on the water with Sea Probe. Gav and Karl were absolutely amazing, from the moment we stepped on board, they made everyone feel welcomed, comfortable, and looked after. Their knowledge, kindness, humour, and genuine passion for what they do turned my first ever deep sea fishing trip into something unforgettable. They went above and beyond for every person on the boat: teaching techniques, helping with gear, putting in so much effort to make sure we caught fish, and creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere the whole day. I learned so much and came away with memories I’ll hold onto for a long time. Now I completely understand why Seaprobe has such amazing ratings. The service, the crew, the experience… all absolutely top-notch. Gav and Karl are legends, and I couldn’t recommend them more. SEA PROBE Charters was incredible. The captain and deckhand were super friendly, and their service was top-level. They took us to fish-packed spots — I landed a huge mahi-mahi, plenty of flathead, and bonito nonstop. You can fish however you like: use their bait rigs or bring your own gear to jig — totally your choice, and they support both. Even though it wasn’t best season for geant fish, the fishing was amazing. For the price and the experience, SEAPROBE is easily the best-value and most legendary fishing charter on the Gold Coast. Highly recommended!

Asides from being an awesome Aussie dude who likes UFC, fun and fishing, he was also knowledgeable, passionate and knew what to do with two city blokes who just wanted to get some fish on the Goldy. It’s our first trip to Gold Coast and deeper fishing so we did quite lots of research on fishing company. Sea probe website is very practical, provide all info just you needed, not too exaggerate like some of others. We did a full day deep-sea , luck weather is so nice, the host was so kind enough to do several spots for different kinds of fish. Gavin is a warm-hearted guy to help me as first-time fishing. We had a great experience , don’t hesitate to book with them!

Had the pleasure of my second trip with Seaprobe after a few long years break.I hope it will be the second of many more! It was an exceptional day and the guys consistently put us on some great fishing and everyone scored. What really stood out though was the effort these guys made to make sure we got the returns. Deckie Karl was diligent ensuring everyone was baited up correctly and ready to go at all times, and was most generous sharing his knowledge and tips for anyone who asked for it. Skipper Gavin managed to keep dropping us in the hot zones and their local knowledge showed...true Pro's! And as a bonus, they also happen to be some of the nicest and most hilarious company to go to sea with!

My 12 year old son and his grandfather took a half-day fishing trip with Sea Probe today (birthday and early Father’s Day gifts) and had a blast (apart from Dad feeling quite seasick). My son caught three Mahi Mahi (lost one as he reeled it in) and we can’t wait to eat them! Dad was very impressed with Sea Probe and said the skipper and first mate were great and couldn’t be more obliging. Thanks very much for a memorable morning out on the ocean!

Booked a charter with seaprobe last Sunday... Was...not... Disappointed! Had a blast leaving at first light to catch live bait then off to deep water for the big ones! These guys are legit, there's plenty of charters in the GC but SeaProbe deliver a amazing day with well versed staff whole helped out every step of the day. Highly recommended and make sure you book well in advance to secure the dates you want. Thanks again guys, we will be back for a Blue Marlin trip next time!

Best day on the water. Arms are still sore from pulling in the fish. Great Skipper, great decky. Skipper did not stop hunting, decky did not stop rebaiting and handling the fish on board.

Unforgettable day aboard this charter, the guys are great and do everything to make sure you catch a fish, they know what they are doing. I will return with great pleasure and of course with Sea Probe Fishing Charters Gold Coast.

I have to highly commended Barry, Gavin, Cathy and Carl on what was one of the most amazing and memorable days I’ve ever had. First this was a last minute decision so our days were limited to attend and our original day was unavailable due to not enough spaces so we pre-booked the day before, but if there was not enough people we would not be able to attend. Unfortunately this would be the case, but the gods would be in our favour and due to a cancellation we were able to get our original day. Directions were easy to follow for the meeting and pick up point of the Sea Point, and from the moment we got on the boat Captain Gavin and Deck hand Carl made sure our day would be one we would never forget. After the standard safety instructions and demos we were onto our first fishing spot and boy did it deliver. To see my Dad’s light up the moment he caught his first ever Mahi Mahi aka Dolphin fish or as they call it in Maltese Lampuki was just so amazing, but then my friend and I catching our first ever ones as well made it even more fantastic. I would of been happy to of caught just this one fish, as it was the one fish I really wanted to catch.....but The days haul was nothing less than feeding an army and with our favourite fish was the icing on the cake. The fish were constant throughout the day but so was the laughter and the support on the boat from Gavin and Carl who went out of his way to assist my dad when he was struggling with reeling in due to pain or his balance, or where I thought I had a monster on the line.....to see a baby only....don’t worry it probably was two fish and one just got away. When you are the only female on the boat, sometime you can be treated as your just there to get the sun and not fish but they new I was there to get that big fish of the day and it was all encouragement and probably a little jealousy from the men when I caught a fish or two, showing them up....lol. If you what an amazing day on the water you really can’t go past Sea Probe as the fishing Charter of choice. Barry, Cathy, Gavin and Carl are an amazing team and you will have the best day ever and a freezer full of fish. Thank you for a great day Sea Probe Team.

Utterly outstanding experience ! Honestly, I was nervous, paying a premium price for what I thought was just another charter boat. How these perceptions faded away from the start. The skipper Gavin, and his deck hand Carl immediately started making the experience with some good banter introduction to the boat. The boys weren't afraid to burn some fule hitting several FADS and marlin spots in the single trip, We kept moving until we found fish and bouy did we find them, Chaos decended we where all dancing around each other trying to thame several dolphin fish at once, The tackle was well balanced, and we even hooked up with a few big sharks. I can not recommend using these guys enough if you like your fishing and you want to get out wide and see some big fish! Came home and just booked our next trip for less that 21 days time. The only downside is, im now laying in a bath, gutting and filleting our captures! 100% recomend!

Absolutely awesome day out with Barry, Gav, and Stone helping us bring in the goods! Fish were a plenty and the crew really knew where and how to find the fish, using a number of different fishing techniques. Very friendly crew and very professional. I would highly recommend these guys if you want a true deep sea fishing experience out at the 50 fathoms. The boat was great, very stable and fast, not too crowded and plenty of room to move around when you’re hooked up.. there were plenty of snacks and cold drinks to keep us going, and a light lunch went down a treat as we reset the drift over the reef.. The boys did us a great job and we went home with more fish than we expected. We will definitely be using these guys next time.

Never post reviews. Seaprobe is the only charter on the gold coast i will ever use. Gav will truly do his best to get you on the fish Unlike every other charter seaprobe does not just take you out to the 24s and hope for the best. He is not afraid to burn some fuel in search of a good days fishing.

Got the first black marlin strike 0700 yesterday. 20 minute hook -up and photo on-board (with the fish 20 minutes later). LIVING THE DREAM!!! Then a 12 Kg wahoo - what the hell - then surrounded by at least 20 floating shadows, hoping to emulate SEA PROBE!! Guess WHAT GAVIE???? We made Chanel 7 fishing and weather tonight! Must have been a good Marlin!! Go GET EM!!!

Stone and Gav gave us a trip to remember. Helpful every minute of the trip, relentlessly working hard to put us on the fish. And that they did! The catering was fantastic, with plenty of food, drink and snacks to keep you going. The vessel is amazingly comfortable as well, with a lot of cabin space and amenities. We’ve been on every charter in Victoria but Sea Probe by far surpassed our expectations of what a good charter is meant to be. Definitely keen to come back for another trip. Til then! 5/5.

Recently spent the day with Sea Probe fishing charters and I can't even explain how awesome it was!!!! It's clear the crew put in such an effort to make sure everyone has a wicked day and catch a few fish, and a few fish was an understatement the day we were out - Dolphin fish, Kingi, Tuna, and to top the day off, a Striped Marlin!!! The crew are awesome, and so patient and helpful for those who don't know a lot about fishing (me). I can't rate these guys highly enough. You have to chose Sea Probe! Would never consider anyone else. Thanks again for the best day.

Been out with Seaprobe a few times now and I have been out with a lot of other charter boats off the Gold Coast. Seaprobe put in the effort and we always come back with big Kingys AJ's and Sampson Fish along with nice Snapper and assorted reef fish. The other boats - tailor and flathead. I would highly recommend Seaprobe to anyone looking for a great day out!!

Dont waste your time with a cheep wanna be charter that is around (like i did) ,go out with these guys you won't regret it..
