Hi all, We installed a Safety Dave’s full time rear view camera on our little A-Van caravan and we are amazed at what we could not see before behind our van on the road. It made our recent trip to Robe so much nicer and safer given we could easily see what was approaching behind as well as my sister in-law following in her little A-Van Sportliner. The 45degree vision camera gave a clear view on the 6” monitor with natural colours in weather conditions ranging from overcast and cloudy, to bright sunshine to rain. The monitor in our 2012 Subaru Forester diesel is fixed to a piece of MDF that fits neatly in the space under the dashboard and can be removed if required. It looks made for that space. I welded a square tube section on the spare tyre holder to mount the camera which is at a nice level just above the tyre. The camera cord runs through this section down through the holder and out under the bumper, then up through the hollow chassis rail on the LHS to the front of the van. Taping it to the Anderson plug wiring made it all neat and easy to connect. I did the install myself and am very happy with the results and certainly am impressed by this unit. Highly recommended. I have dealt with Safety Dave over the years with various purchases. The service has always been excellent. I had problems with water penetration of a reversing camera for my caravan and this was replaced, no question asked and sent by express post due to my travelling schedule. Thank you Safety Dave.

My service with Safety Dave was excellent. The staff quickly identified my requirements and costed it. I called them at approximately 3 pm Thursday and the goods arrived at 10am Friday in Sydney. How good is that.

Received a camera and monitor as part of a caravan purchase. Relatively easy to install, however had an issue with power up. I contacted Safety Dave and they organised one of their installers to contact me (same day), who led me through a diagnostic process. The problem (insulation on fuse holder not adequately stripped) was quickly found and rectified.
