The Marina Cafe is a jewel. We had their fish and chips and it was delish 😋. The fish was tender and the coleslaw was amazing! We found out from the owner that everything is made from scratch. We are so happy to have found this place. They are open 8-2 though. So go enjoy the food and the ambiance.

I was a renter for 40 years. It was Joe Fellows Marina then. I met LaRue Thomas who had a boat in the marina too. We both were in the car business and became instant friends. Lots of changes since those days. It became corporate and lost the general store, lost that human element with a list of rules which mostly benefits everyone. It is the cleanest and best marina in Wilmington but is slipping because of tenant changes. I guess it's hard to weed out tweekers because they have some. All slips have fingers each side. A huge plus. The management is great, very friendly and they put on parties, bbqs and get together. You will like this marina a lot.

Great little gem .

I was on my way to the yacht club that is within this marina. The yacht club is a wonderful place. Unfortunately this marina is managed by a very extremely unprofessional manager. I was not only assaulted on the road with her coming up alongside of me. After speeding and driving erratically. And then continued to block me in their parking lot and verbally assault me when I’m asking her how am I supposed to leave when you’re blocking my pathway. And the arrow clearly shows this is the direction of the exit. She intern followed me onto the street yelling out the window along side of me saying that she is going to get me kicked out of my marina as well. I told her that I’ve already called the park place on her. I believe that I was verbally assaulted and was unable to leave on my own because her vehicle would not let me leave. Until she was done putting her point across which made no sense whatsoever? And proceeded to move her car. Then suddenly stopped jumped out of her car and said I was trying to hit her car. Anyone who wants to Place their boat or yacht here might want to reconsider seriously? Seems to be a.k.a. pirate Cove?? You might get in but they’re not gonna let you out???
