We were traveling from Idaho to Minnesota and broke down on the highway. The tow truck got us to Matt's late on Friday evening. Monday morning we met with Andrew Millage and discussed the plan for repairs. What a great professional job he did. Talk about good communication. He let us know what was going on every step of the way. The work done was great and the repair was completed in a fraction of the time we expected. Thanks to everyone at Matt's for a great job.

I had slipping /surging transmission. They did a thorough investigation and although my truck would not replicate the issue for them, they did enough research to determine that changing the oil to a special brand would take care of issue. I have been driving it a week now and it shifts smooth and no surging.

We dropped off our 2018 Toyota Camry for a rear bumper. We had a fender bender and needed to get our rear bumper replaced or fixed. Both exterior and interior of the facility looked very clean and the guy who had to deal with our car and the time consuming head ache of insurance coverage for the cost of the repair was Andrew. Very professional and just down to earth. He even gave us a complimentary Teddy Bear. When we picked up the car, the car looked like it was brand new from the dealership. They not only repaired our rear bumper but the guy responsible for detailing the car was exceptional. It was beyond our expectations. These guys do phenomenal work. You can tell that they take pride in their work and love working on cars. The car looked like it had a brand new life. It brought us a new appreciation for our Camry. ❤️

I have worked with Vern at Matts Automotive for years... he has been a constant at this organization and the customer service and knowledge he provides has yet to be matched by any other organization in Fargo/Moorhead that I have visited. Sometimes you just want a person to talk normal and not try to upsell you on things you don't need. I also worked with Austin H. (service advisor) at the south collision center and he was extremely helpful as well. He communicated clearly what condition the overall vehicle is in, what needs to be done soon and what can wait... providing options instead of pushy tactics to rush into more maintenance work than is really necessary at the time. As long as good people like Vern and Austin are at Matt's Automotive... I will continue to trust my vehicle maintenance and fixes with this location.

I had to have my vehicle towed here after it died on my way to a medical appointment. The gentleman at the desk was great at keeping me informed during the repair process and was proactive in providing a detailed report so I can address the issue that led to this visit. The price was great too. If I lived in the area, I would make Matt's my regular shop.

This fall, my family needed new tires on our Expedition. We tried a couple of other tire places. The first few didn't want to install the tires I wanted to the vehicle. Another tried to install them, but quickly said it couldn't be done due to the width of the aftermarket wheels and tried to sell me a brand I never heard of. We swung by Matt's Automotive on 52nd after a short phone call with one of their guys. They brought in the tires we wanted, and after a lot of elbow grease, they were able to make them work out. Their pricing was on point or less than others that quoted us and they didn't want to give up until this worked out.

Matts is the only place I trust! The people are next level with customer service! Every single employee I interact with is nothing but respect, considerate, and knowledgeable. One of their managers, Vern Newman, is the epitome of professionalism and kindness! He has become like family to us as our cars always have something wrong with them! Took my vehicle in for some new brakes. The employees were so nice and helpful. They look great care of my vehicle by doing a full inspection on my tires and brakes before changing them out for me. They helped me save money and were very sweet to my kids by giving them each a teddy bear to take home. Their lobby is very nice, clean, and comfortable unlike other shops I have been to. Had maintenance done, Struts, oil change, air filter, rotation, oil leak taken care of. Had a loaner car from them and that was a huge plus to me since have my own business! They do great work, helpful, professional, will return when need to definitely.

The loaner vehicles are such a convenient part of going to Matt's! I needed to get to a meeting and was so grateful that I didn't have to cancel my day just because my car had unplanned issues. Erik Nagel from the collision center assisted me with the repairs for my E60 M5 that was damaged during transport on my move to Fargo. Through the complications of insurances, to the paint matching the oem silver stone paint, Erik and his team took care of my vehicle like it was one of his own. Communications were consistent throughout the process from parts being in route to completion of the repairs. The repairs came out oem and looked like it did when I first purchased the vehicle. Would definitely recommend Matt’s Automotive to anyone.

I am shocked at how great these guys were! I know they’ve won awards like “Best of Fargo”, but I assumed that would make them much more expensive than their competitors. I got 3 quotes to replace the exterior driver’s side mirror that was accidentally snapped off by my first grader helping bring in the garbage bin. The smaller Mom and Pop type place I live by quoted $325. The other well known place said $425! I was very discouraged but then I got the quote from Matt’s and it was $145!! I almost fainted! I thought it must be a mistake, but I scheduled it for the next week. When I brought a part in for them to check if it would fit on the new mirror, the guy who was going to do it mentioned that it is a quick fix so I could just stop by whenever and he could just get it done quickly. So I went in a few hours later and he put it on in 15 minutes!!! I didn’t have to wait until the next week and I was extremely happy (it’s very hard to drive without that mirror). I will tell everyone about the exemplary service I received there. It was amazing!

This was my first at a Matt's Automotive location. They were welcoming and accommodating from the start. I started with just an oil change, but the mechanic found several issues that needed addressing, specifically my back brakes were metal on metal with the rotors. They were able to fit me in and have my car completed before close...and my oil change was at 10am!! Cool review of what they saw through pictures and the mechanic even came out and corrected the labor costs for CHEAPER!! Can't say enough good things...they have a new customer!

Passenger side door replacement

Matt's went above and beyond fixing the motor on my convertible top, window, door lock, mirror, center console repair...and made sure I was happy with a little extra door panel repair that came up. I couldn't be happier!

Through e-mails I was informed what things they recommended to fix and I could just click agree or decline for what I could afford. Great customer service! Charlie is wonderful!

**update** My wife was in a hit and run, I knew exactly where I wanted to take her car, even with the supply shortages, Matt's was always up front and communicative. They've done their best to make sure her vehicle is fixed as soon as they could get it done. Charlie is great! I have a classic car that needed tons of body work and a paint job. I had gotten estimates at other places but the customer service and attitudes didn’t jive with what I expected. I had driven past Matt’s a few times the previous year and saw a classic car being redone. That car was Matt’s, if he trusted his employees I could too. Knowing they did that line of work I stopped by with my car. The service manager (Justin) was awesome to visit with. He brought out his lead body and paint guy (Michael) who also is super nice. We walked around my car and we’re instantly all on the same page. I received an actual estimate and proceeded with using Matt’s. They constantly sent pictures and asked questions to make sure we all understood before proceeding with each detail. When it came time to pick a color the painter did several spray outs and samples even customizing to meet my needs. During my vehicle being in the shop Justin had moved but Charlie took his place as manager. Charlie didn’t miss a beat and his customer service attitude fits with Matt’s mission, truly seamless transition to a new manager. I am very satisfied with the results. I’ve also dropped off wheels and tires to get mounted and balanced. They went out of their way to find the chrome valve stems I wanted. If you want great customer service this is the place.

Love it! My car is at Matts Service for more than a week Estimate. Was $3 400. And they said they can't give me a "loaner." I am . Stranded at home, just thinking about all I haven't done for Xmas. I am 57 yrs. Old with kids and grandchildren. This affects them too. Yet $3400 and no loaner. I Know that staff uses the loaners outside of work. Jeremy told me that. This is just disappointing. No loaner for 10 days before Christmas.

I couldn't ask for a better automotive repair shop and my experience was absolutely wonderful. Right away, they were more than willing to let me drop my vehicle off early and even started diagnosing problems before my scheduled appointment. When the causes were determined, they provided explanation and photos to review and explained all the details over the phone. In the end the vehicle needed more repairs than what it was worth, and they were more than willing to give me time to decide what I wanted to do next and even suggested all my options as I had no idea what to do with a car that needs to be salvaged. I guarantee that I will go to Matt's for future service. I also want to highlight Charlie who was always updating me on the status of my vehicle and willing to answer any questions. I love bringing my car to Matt’s. The staff knows me by my name and keeps me fully in the loop with whatever they are working on with my car. I appreciate that they send their suggested items to do on the car in a list I can review on my own and accept or decline—much less stressful than having to decide in the moment. Justin is always great at communicating needed repairs and checking in at all points along the way. I appreciated him also calling prior to my appointment to double check the needed work on my vehicle. Today's repair (power steering fluid flush and transmission fluid exchange) was done by Daren - my car hasn't sounded so happy in a long time. This is my second time using them for repairs, definitely would recommend to friends.

I don't know why you would bring your vehicle anywhere else. The friendliness and professionalism is something I would expect at a 5 star resort, not an automotive repair shop.
