Edinburgh Dental and Ferhan were absolutely amazing! I contacted the surgery regarding a single tooth implant after being quoted an extortionate amount of money from another clinic. I had one appointment before surgery and it could not have gone smoother. After surgery, the aftercare was second-to-none and to top it all off - I have my smile back again! All of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful and my surgeon (Ferhan) was fantastic! Could not recommend Edinburgh Dental enough!

Using Enlighten was easy and still allowed me to drink my morning coffee throughout the whitening process. The results were superb and delivered the B1 colour which was what I was promised. I experienced very little sensitivity and when I did I used my little pen given with the enlighten pack this immediately removed the sensitivity. Edinburgh Dental were very professional and supportive throughout the entire process and would recommend them and the product Enlighten again and again.

I had a very positive experience at Edinburgh Dental Clinic. I came in with complications from three root canal treatments that had been done at another clinic, and I was quite concerned about my situation. The team carried out a very professional and thorough triage, helping to stabilise things temporarily while clearly explaining the next steps. They also provided a well-structured treatment plan, which gave me confidence and reassurance moving forward. A special mention to Dr Kelsey and her support staff for their flexibility, empathy, and professionalism throughout. Their care and dedication really stood out, and I’m grateful for the work they’ve done to help get my dental health back on track. Thank you!

Wow! My implants are just THE best. The service from Ferhan, Kasia and the whole team was fabulous. From my initial meeting, through teeth removal, scans, lab work, implants insertion all explained fully, costs were known from the start with no additional add ons! They are friendly yet the upmost in professionalism, knowledge, detail and care. I couldn’t be happier and I will go there for every part of my future dental work.

I had an emergency appointment for a surgical wisdom tooth extraction and I’m so grateful for the excellent care I received. The receptionist was kind and helpful, Kasia was incredibly supportive and reassuring throughout the procedure, and Dr. Ferhan Ahmed was professional, calm, and highly skilled. I attended Edinburgh dental last week to have a root removed having been referred by my own dentist, who was unable to do so. As root had a hook and needed done surgically. All staff from receptionist , dental nurse and Dr Kelsey Shortiss were amazing. Thank you for your care and professionalism. Would highly recommend this practise

This has been the best and most significant dental experience I have ever had. After consulting with Ferhan and Kasia, I realised I needed all my top teeth out, and the best option seemed to be around 6 implants with a bridge attached. I have always been nervous with dentists, like many other folk, so I approached the first hurdle, getting all my top teeth out in one mornings appointment very warily. The Edinburgh Dental folk are so positive though and friendly and professional and it was so much more simple, easy and relatively pain free than I imagined. After this first step we found ourselves on quite a journey, as an xray showed I had blocked sinuses, which had to be dealt with before any implant surgery. And further inspection showed I had a polyp in my nose. So I had to wait for surgery for that at St Johns. Meantime I was using standard dentures while waiting for the nose surgery and then sitting out the recovery time. Finally the big day came and I was ready for my implant surgery. As before, Ferhan, Kasia and the brilliant Edinburgh Dental team helped me with my anxiety. And of course, because I'm older there were some small complications drilling through my gum and bone etc. Everything went very smoothly though, and after a few months wearing a temporary bridge I had another big day, finally I had the permanent bridge fitted. And finally I was delighted with my new teeth. As Ferhan says it was quite a journey, and it took almost 2 years, the nose and sinus treatment added many months. And I could not imagine having this work done anywhere else. Ferhan and Kasia have helped me every step of the way in what was a huge deal for me, being older and a bit scared of Dentists. I'll always be indebted to both of you. Not only do I love my new teeth, but so does everyone else in my life. So THANK YOU SO MUCH! David
