Was passing through had a tire blowout. These guys helped me out and get it changed out quickly and very professional highly recommend.

My wife’s suv had an exhaust leak. Shane and his team did a great job finding the source of the leak and solving the problem. Even though they were extremely busy and they had to take a lot of things apart, they kept me informed and had the job completed in a couple of days. Their price was fair and I liked the fact it is a family run business. I will be taking my truck to get it serviced as well.

I bought a truck in Mississippi and was road tripping it back home to North Carolina. It was late, dark, and raining and we started hearing some rattling in the engine bay. We were near Leeds and stopped to get a room. Once settled, I spent a few minutes on the internet and found Ron's Automotive with really great reviews and for a bonus it was just two miles from the hotel. I drove over and met Shane about the time he was opening shop. I told him my problem and that I was sure the problem was in the accessory drive somewhere. And also that I needed a quick turnaround so we could get back on the road. Shane did say he would try but that he couldn't promise anything. That's about all I could ask for and I appreciated his honesty on the timeline. He walked outside while I was doing the paperwork and came back in with a diagnosis of AC compressor. He knew that without opening the hood, saying he could smell the oil. Shane took me back to the hotel which was a great favor over sitting in a waiting room wondering what was going to happen. The tech that was doing the work called me very quickly and confirmed it was the AC and gave me an estimate of time and cost. Three short hours later, I got a text message that my truck was ready and Shane came and picked me up. We were back on the road before lunchtime. That's a lot of words to say that Shane and his crew are amazing at what they do and are surely the best new friends a broke down traveller could hope to meet. The work was completed amazingly quickly, very fairly priced, and the extra service of pickup and drop off was welcome as well as surprising, even though such kindnesses are well represented in other reviews. I recommend this business wholeheartedly. While I hope to never break down in Leeds again, if I did I know exactly where to go for great service and great kindness.

I had a young family member driving across the country and a mechanical issue came up as a result of poor previous mechanical work. She ended up stranded in Leeds, AL as a result of this. Had the vehicle taken to Ron's Automotive based on their reviews, and I am sure glad we did. They jumped right on it, determined the issue, addressed some other concerns, and got her back on the road within a day. They charged a fair price and provided photos so we could seek reimbursement from the other shop. These folks are fantastic and cannot rave enough!

In May of this year I was traveling back home to Missouri from visiting my grandson for his first birthday in Georgia when my Jeep Trailhawk broke down in Leeds, Al. When I called Ron's shop I was greeted by a caring female answering the phone and telling me she would send the tow truck to get me and my car. Ron and his son and crew worked on my car trying to get me back on the road. When the parts needed did not work he made arrangements with his wife and daughter to take me to a hotel and pick me up the next day. They continued to work on my unfortunately not being able to get the parts for my Jeep I had to make other arrangements. However Ron and his family were very kind and caring about me as well as my car. I appreciate how Ron runs his auto shop and I appreciate the ethics he instills at his workplace. I appreciate the kindness his family and workers shown to me when I was stranded in Leeds,Al. Getting my Jeep fixed back home was not easy either it took over a month to get a new transfer case.

I called Ron's Automotive from a parking lot when I started my car and got a warning light that said the tracking control wasn't working. I know absolutely nothing about cars. The man I spoke to told me to look for a little button on the left side of my dash. He described it and had me push the button. As soon as I did, the warning light went away. This man could have made me drive there, could have kept my car for days, and could have charged me who knows what. I will definitely be recommending him to others and will definitely be going there when anything is wrong with my car.

Me and my 1.5 yr old son we're passing through from North Carolina to New Mexico when we had car trouble. We pulled off in Leeds Alabama and our vehicle was taken care of at Ron's. Shane, his daughter and Lin took great care of us. Giving us a ride back to my hotel room and picking us up when my car was fixed. They even went to pickup the part so the repair would be completed quicker. We made it safely to New Mexico without any other car trouble.
