I had Service Technician, Mr. Pooya Yousefi, visit my home. He was punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable about the A/C system and its needs. He listened to my concerns and went right to work. He quickly assessed the problem and had the necessary parts on his truck. Once I approved the estimate, he was finished with the repairs (inside and outside), he tested the A/C using the thermostat, and the system was good as new! He even asked me what temperature was most comfortable for the current outside temperature, so we reset the Heat back to 72 degrees. My A/C unit is 13 years old, but Mr. Pooya Yousefi managed to make it perform as if it was newly installed! I would definitely request him again...thank you, Sir!

I had 3 pieces of equipment installed by 5 Star and it took me 3 scheduling events to get someone on site to do a safer inspection on my furnace. During the inspection the technician removed the globe and stated it had some debris in the globe. At that time he asked me if I wanted him to clean out with water I asked him since he had it out what was the charge he stated $158.00. I thought this was ridiculous especially since I had waited at home all day last Friday waiting on a technician who never showed up. I feel this is very poor customer service. I am really disappointed.

I had a leak and some corrosion on a water heater connection. Five Star installed in and covered the cost to repair it since it had only been 18 months. Eddie was prompt, thorough, and walked me through everything he found so I knew how our system was doing. On top of that, he was simply a genuinely nice man that was good to have a friendly chat with. Five Star has always treated us right and they have been excellent at immediately addressing issues to make sure we are 110% satisfied. It’s a breath of fresh air with all the nightmare companies I’ve had to deal with.

Tech was really good, called ahead, 1st tech in five years to ask for a water hose👍, well done, the boy takes ownership of his calls treats it like it his busy, good job kid

Dakota and his install partner did an incredible job installing a 60K BTU gas furnace and 2.5 ton outdoor a/c unit. They installed this as if he were putting it in his own home. They removed a very heavy concrete pad that the old a/c sat on outside and added a new one that fit the unit (square). They took the concrete pad and loaded it into their truck, which completely impressed me. Both worked non-stop (7.5 Hours) and never took a break. Both were friendly and made sure every accommodation was made during the install. The installers requested additional parts for the hood, which were delivered but not exactly as requested. He assured me they would correct this, but everything was running after they left. They will rebuild the hood to accomodate a 4"X16"X20" filter. Right now, it has a 1"X16"X20" filter. Now, I will monitor the operation of the system in the coming weeks and months and give continuous additional feedback as necessary. I purchased additional Honeywell T10 Thermastat sensors to regulate heat in bedroom furthest from Furnace. I'm not quite sure how these sensors will work but I will give feedback later. Update: March 20, 2026 Dakota returned and rebuilt the hood on our new furnace. The parts that were delivered to him on the day of furnace/AC install were not complete and he shared that with us. He made it functional but he wanted to make sure everything was done right as if it was his own home furnace. The hood was rebuilt and now accommodates a 20"X16"X4" filter. It was sealed were hood meets ceiling. Everything is now complete. An HVAC company is only one componet of a successful install. The person installing is what makes return customers. To 5-Star owners, do NOT lose Dakota. He is a major asset to your success.

Five Star Home Services did it again. Eddie and crew arrived on time and efficiently replaced our broken water heater (5 Star replaced our furnace in January). I have a 2 year old furnace. I have had repeated issues with it shutting off; the last incident was a record breaking cold snap. This company is all talk. The entire country knew this cold snap was coming and "5 Star" told me I had to wait a week for service! A WEEK! I asked them how I could heat my house for a week in frigid temperatures. 5Star holds itself out like it's a big company. A big company would have been prepared! Today I called 5 Star bc, once again, my 2 year old furnace stopped running. The customer service rep told me there was a service call charge! I told her I paid $25/month for service every month and I have NEVER had to pay anything extra! The robot on the phone just kept repeating herself. This is totally unacceptable business practice. I am sorry I ever called New Albany Heating and Cooling! It used to be reputable. Not anymore

Brandon(sp?) was excellent! He was friendly, explained what he found and showed me. Very professional and conscientious. He even told me about 5 Star plumbing services if I needed a plumber for my water tank. No hard selling, he told me when I asked. Send him every time!

Water line leaked, Joe came the next morning after my evening call to the company. He was very knowledgeable, polite, friendly, mindful of the floors (wore footies), thorough in his explanations about what was wrong and how was he about to repair it, etc. I highly recommend this company, (and Joe in particular for any plumbing repairs). I also signed up for their Whole House Protection Program, and, while I evidently have not used it fully yet, it offered some nice incentives (20% of today’s repairs) and a peace of mind that I believe I will enjoy.

technician came without the proper valve that needed replaced. The tech who quoted the job took pictures of the valve, so why did the new tech not look at the job and be prepared? Going to Lowes to buy the correct valve added at least and hour+ to the total time! Once that was done, all went well.

Chad Dzierwa with 5 Star Home Services was incredible. The entire experience was such a stress relief for me and my family. Walking into the basement to find water coming up through cracks and a full sump was a real anxiety bomb. But one call to 5 star and they came out after only an hour wait, replaced my sump, and cleaned up, all within an hour. Will recommend their service to all my friends and family who have home utility emergencies.

Scott with 5 Star did a great job at helping me finalize my choices regarding a humidifier installation with tight space constraints on the supply side of my furnace. Everything was nicely cleaned up and he went over the unit operation with me before he left.

I called Five Star Home Services when my furnace quit working. Matt responded immediately even though it was after normal business hours. Matt promptly and professionally diagnosed the issue. My furnace was 20+ years old and unfortunately would cost a lot to repair. We decided to replace the whole furnace and A/C unit. Matt was great with providing options and was up front about pricing. Due to being the weekend, the unit was not able to be replaced until Monday morning. David and Anthony arrived and promptly replaced both the furnace and A/C unit while being professional throughout. After the installation, David showed us the new system and explained its functionality. Matt, David, and Anthony were great throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

5 Star responded to a concern I had regarding my Nest thermostat within 5 hours of contacting them. Matt quickly identified the issue with my gas furnace, tested the system and resolved it.

Dakota and his partner did an incredible job installing a 60K BTU gas furnace and 2.5 ton outdoor a/c unit. They installed this as if he were putting it in his own home. They removed a very heavy concrete pad that the old a/c sat on outside and added a new one that fit the unit (square). They took the concrete pad and loaded it into their truck, which completely impressed me. Both worked non-stop (7.5 Hours) and never took a break. Both were friendly and made sure every accommodation was made during the install. The installers requested additional parts for the hood, which were delivered but not exactly as requested. He assured me they would correct this, but everything was running after they left. Now, I will monitor the operation of the system in the coming weeks and months and give continuous additional feedback as necessary.

During this colder than usual winter of 2026, our 25 year old furnace died. I found five star online and filled a form to have someone come out to take a look. Eddie Johnson a technician arrives early the next morning and thoroughly checked out the furnace. He suggested a replacement (no surprise) reviewed all pricing and gave me a great quote on replacement. He said they couldn’t get to it until the next day, so he would bring me space heaters as the furnace could not be repaired. But an hour later he called and said a crew could install today. Quite honestly i was shocked! But they came a couple hours later and completed the work at the quoted price. I would highly recommend this company to everyone. And Eddie is the best.

Pleasent. Explained all issues of inspection. Joe also pointed out two faucets on Stationery Tub and Washing Machine connections that were leaking. Last showed me 2 copper joints that showed carosian that could become problematic. I appreciated Joe's thoroughness.

Adam inspected my furnace very thoroughly. Installed drain boot assembly. Suggested new induced draft motor, new gaskets or seal with high temperature sealant and to ensure proper combustion in the furnace. He explained everything he was doing in which it was very nice and professional. Awesome service!!
