Very good and informative tour The night tour was a wonderful experience to view nocturnal creatures in their own habitat. Our guide was knowledgeable about the local animal and plant species and took his time to stop at every opportunity to show us everything he could. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to see the natural habitat at night.

Do not miss! We arrived about 20m late and assumed we had missed our spot for the tour. To our surprise, our guide Adamar was waiting patiently for us. Not only did he take us on the tour for more than the full two hours, but as we were the only ones booked, we ended up with a private tour as well. Adamar was incredibly knowledgeable and sharp-eyed, able to spot and explain the biology of many different types of plants, frogs, insects, arachnids, baby bats, sleeping birds and even a scorpion! We enjoyed doing this tour at the beginning of our time in Costa Rica as we were able to spot some of the same plants and animals during other walks on our trip. He was also local to the area and told us a bit about the local history. We went after some rain (possibly the reason we were the only ones on the tour) and felt very safe throughout as he was conscious to warn us about any muddy or slippery patches. Could not recommend more!

Above and beyond Our family of four joined a group night tour on Dec. 22, 2024. Our SUV got stuck on the way to the meeting location because of the heavy rains. The Jungle Adventures team went out of their way to help us get the SUV out of the mud. It took a good 30-45 minutes for the whole thing. They then took us on a private tour as the rest of the folks had already left. Also, the tour guide did not skip anything, in spite of starting 45 minutes behind schedule on a private tour instead of a group tour.We saw a sloth, plenty of frog species, spiders, and learned about the different plant and trees on the property. It was touching to be treated so well and our entire family is very happy and grateful.

Awesome night tour! What an awesome experience! Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable. We were able to see so many cool bugs, scorpion, and even a sleeping monkey! You’ve got to do at least one night hike while you are in Costa Rica and this was a winner!

Night Tour La Fortuna I enjoyed my Night Tour with Night Tour La Fortuna. I was able to see frogs, spiders, and cool fungi. My guide was very knowledgable about the local plants and animals and made sure to point them out when he saw them.

Must do in La fortuna! (Read review for directions) Definitely a must do in La fortuna. We have been to La fortuna multiple times and done every activity you can here. We also go on hikes and try to spot wild life everywhere we go, but the guides here were able to show us things we never would have found ourselves. They have an amazing amount of knowledge about the local flora and fauna, and although we have done many tours before we learned more in this one than we ever have. We were able to see multiple glass frogs, poison dart frogs, fresh water eel, various fish, lizards, bats, sloths, and even a kinkaju! Can’t recommend this tour enough. One thing about finding it at night, google maps will take you all the way to the small dirt road and it says you’ve arrived, keep going up that small dirt road and past a few houses and you will see a sign saying La fortuna night tour 400m ahead

Incredible Night Walk Experience in La Fortuna! We had an amazing time on this night walk in La Fortuna! Our tour started at 6 p.m., and since it was a small group of just three friends, the experience felt very personal and relaxed. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. We saw several species of frogs, a few snakes, and even spotted a sloth, which was the highlight of the evening!The tour was well-organized and moved at a great pace, allowing us to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the rainforest at night. If you’re a nature lover and want to see the nocturnal side of Costa Rica, I highly recommend this tour. It’s an unforgettable experience!

Fun in the rain Even though it was raining, we got to see lots of different critters. The tour guide was very informative and answered all the questions.

Unforgettable Night Adventure We had an amazing night tour in La Fortuna. Lyan, our guide, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We spotted stick insects, red-eyed tree frogs, and bats, all in their natural habitat. Highly recommended for nature lovers!
