I am very happy to have met an honest clinic and an high professional like Dr. Victor. They are so honest and care so much about quality and results that they can even refuse you if they cannot guarantee the result. In my case, they offered me to wait a bit, to get used to glasses with more power and only then to do laser correction. Everything went very quickly and practically painless. But it is definitely a strange sensation. But don't worry. Immediately after the operation on the way home I briefly opened my eyes and could happily see the temperature on the climate control of the car, and this without glasses! :) For a couple of days I tried not to open my eyes at all, only when I put drops in them. Then little by little I started to open them more and more. And after a week I could already see well without discomfort. They say my recovery period was a little longer than most. If I was asked now to recommend to myself before surgery, I would say this: Take a week vacation, don't rush to stress your eyes, give them some time. Make sure you are with your favorite people and friends, remember fun moments together, drink delicious tea, listen to audiobooks, enjoy the life ahead of you without glasses. It's a great chance to fall out of the routine and listen to yourself. I had travelled from London to have ICL procedure done, I cannot recommend Swiss Laser clinic enough. I went first in March 2023 for an initial consultation, and then back in June 2023 for the procedure itself. I was initially told by a clinic in London I qualify for laser, however after a call with Dr Victor, he refused to do laser as I would not have perfect results. For me, this honestly and professionalism is the best. They are so professional every step of the way, and putting you at ease, making sure you are comfortable. I had 80% perfect vision within 12 hours, and 99% perfect vision just 24 hours after the procedure with no pain whatsoever. All of the staff at the clinic are excellent at communicating in English, and send every documents in both Polish and English so you have full understanding. Thank you to all the staff at Swiss Laser and to Dr Victor for giving me perfect vision! I can say goodbye to glasses and contact lenses.
