Although our addition might be considered a small job, extending a too-small bedroom and adding a covered deck, it was huge for us! Thanks to Dave and his whole crew for giving us the space that we should have had when we first built our home in 2018. To show our confidence and appreciation, we referred two different friends for remodeling jobs that are under way.

Our home is approximately 20 years old, and we have been doing lots of home renovations in order to continually bring our home up to today's standards. Although we had the original gas fireplace serviced annually, last year our serviceman told us we would probably need an expensive replacement part within the next few years. We opted to install a new more efficient fireplace with a new tile surround, and DH BUILDERS took on the task. What a huge upgrade! We were more than pleasantly surprised with the finished product. Dave and his crew were incredible to work with. We have bought, built and sold 11 homes in the past 30 years and worked with many constuction firms and contractors. DH BUILDERS are among the best. Dave cares about his work, employees and pleasing his customers. Every worker or sub who came through the door was polite, knowledgable and helpful. We have bids from DH BUILDERS for a couple of other projects. We just need to decide which one to do first!!

David and his crew have been immensely helpful in our ability to turn a house built in the early 1900's into our current modernized family home. He initially put a boxed steam shower in which I requested in an effort to save money, but when it gave out 7 years later, he and his crew were able to build a replacement within my current budget. I would absolutely use him again.

We had the pleasure of working with David, Sean, Keemun, and the rest of the team at DH Builders on a major remodel project and they were great. We started our remodel right before the Covid pandemic impacted the global supply of workers and materials. As a result, DH Builders had to work through many unforeseen challenges and delays that were beyond their control. Throughout this difficult time, the team at DH Builders did everything they could to keep our project on track and on time. While we did have our challenges, just like anyone else trying to complete a remodel during the pandemic, we knew we had a team of experts that went above and beyond to keep the project going. They understood the difficulty of what we were all experiencing and I don't think we would have had our project turn out as well as it did without them. David and the team stand behind their work and will always do the "right thing". We would recommend them.

We have used DH Builders on two major projects. A major overhaul when we first purchased the house and a subsequent remodel adding additional space for an enlarged bedroom, new bath and closet. Our experience was exceptional. We would use them again.

We have engaged with DH Builders for several home remodeling and improvement projects for our Bauhaus-inspired modern house overlooking Shevlin Park. It is a special, bespoke house with unique architecture and use of many non-standard materials and systems. We knew we needed a very experienced, detail-oriented and professional firm, and we found that in DH Builders. The firm puts client's needs first, and takes the time to understand exactly what it is we are wishing to achieve with our home renovations and remodeling projects. We are impressed with the strong project management and communication skills DH Builders brings to each project, and the quality of the work is tip-top. We are never disappointed in any aspect of each phase of the work... scoping, budgeting, permitting, job start-up, the work itself, and clean-up are all well thought-out and executed. We purchased the house a few years ago with the notion of making several key design+build improvements along the way to really make it a showpiece, to improve functionality, and to "make it ours". Working with Dave, Sean, Tom, Keemum and all the others has always been productive and collaborative. They bring to the table a no-nonsense, clear-eyed approach to each project, and their deep roots in the community assure access to labor, subcontractors, and materials to get the job done right and without drama. We have completed projects that involved "all sides of the business" ranging from detailed architectural design by Tom and his team, to permitting, framing, fabrication at the shop, electrical, finish details, etc., directed by Dave and Sean principally. There is still some interesting work to be done at this house, and I know when we engage with DH Builders we will have a solid outcome. Highly recommended.

Dave and his crew did absolutely fantastic work. Their finish was impeccable and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who could beat it!

David and Sean with DH Builders were a pleasure to work with. I hired DH to help with my exterior remodel, replacing my windows, siding and trim work. They were professional, informative, and went above and beyond in helping us with our needs. End result was of the upmost quality and I appreciate the attention to detail and ease to work with. Being a contractor myself, I cannot speak highly enough of DH. I also have hired their painting division to help me out on a couple remodeling projects of my own. Great attitude, wonderful lead carpenter with a ton of experience in remodeling and new construction, uses professional subcontractors who are neat when working in your home. I am a retired custom home builder, who also worked in remodeling and home additions, so I was very happy to find David Hall of DH Builders once we moved to Bend OR. Imagine this, a remodeling contractor who returned an initial phone call, and a number of subsequent ones while he organized and worked on a couple of small projects on our home in NorthWest Crossing. 5-stars and an equal number of thumbs up for David. -Rick Mueller
