Awesome Bucket List Trip! Our trip to the Galapagos Islands was absolutlely amazing! I had not used Columbus Travel previously but I saw an ad on TV and did my research and they had good reviews. They arranged everything for us. We arranged the flights to Ecuador but they handled everything else. Someone met us at the airport, transported us to hotel, arranged our flights to the island, the necessary paperwork to get into the islands, all other transfers. Always on time. The hotel they arranged was awesome. The yacht they suggested was awesome. Absolutely a perfect trip! Highly recommend.

The Very Best! I cannot say enough about Columbus travel, specifically, Ana Lucia Montenegro! Our trip was so amazing and we were taken care of every step of the way! We contacted her last summer when we had decided to go to the Galapagos and from the moment we made contact, she was so responsive and helpful. She understood immediately what type of trip we were looking for and delivered hands down. Any time I had a question or needed clarity on a pickup time or anything for that matter, she responded within just a few minutes. I would highly recommend this company and Ana Lucia to anyone and everyone that is looking to book a trip to the spectacular islands of the Galapagos. The truly made it an unforgettable experience.

Best experience in 50+ years of travel. I just returned from the Galápagos Islands (North), solo female, and it was the best trip of my life (in 54 years of travel). The key to it being the best trip was the people involved in organizing my trip. Manuela Alves, Destination Expert, from Columbus Travel, manuela@columbusecuador.com, 1-877-657-4447, was a patient angel, who: helped me determine the best Galapagos trip for me, answered everyone of my questions with rapid turnaround and helped me with all my travel logistics. When I stepped off the plane in Quito, Ecuador, I am non-Spanish speaking but was never alone to struggle because Manuela and Lesly Sandoval, of Columbus Travel, were providing me with step by step directions via WhatsApp and I could speak to them, if needed. They did an awesome job of having everything preplanned for me: my ride from the airports to hotel to the ship and back, my airline tickets to the Galapagos and the paperwork required for permission to visit the islands. The another shout out to the staff on the Nemo II ship! Leon, our guide, who lived on Santa Cruz Island, was very knowledgeable about the Galapagos and did an excellent job of keeping us safe during all the snorkeling (usually twice a day), hiking (usually twice a day) and dingy tours. Plus, he had a great sense of humor. The 5 remaining crew were wonderful. The captain was very approachable, the cook prepared gourmet meals for us three times a day, Johnny, our bartender, BTW the drinks were very reasonably priced, always had fresh squeezed fruit juice for us upon return to the boat and served our meals with expertise, and the two remaining crew members joyfully filled in wherever they were needed. Amazing service Ana at Columbus Travel did an amazing job organizing our trip to Quito and the Galapagos. All details were thought of and addressed including organizing 2 tours in Quito with a great guide, Isabella. Communication was excellent both prior and during the trip. Definitely would not hesitate to use Ana and Columbus Travel again!

A great trip What more do you need than a problem-free trip? We used Columbus travel for a trip to the Amazon and a guided trip in Quito in addition to the Galapagos sail . Pablo made a great boat recommendation.

Two North Carolina ladies traveling the world. What an amazing and beautiful place. Ecuador and Galápagos Island. Ecuador and the Galápagos was an amazing experience. The people, food and the culture were incredible. The atmosphere was incredible also.

I asked for. Simple thing for my older father. My father sat out the rest of the trip We had this trip originally booked in Nov 2025. I asked Maria if we could post pone til Feb 2026 due to a death. She told us no. So we paid for this trip again which was not cheap. So I have wrote inserval emails and preference sheets my father is older and can NOT walk far. The 2nd day she had a rough terrain walk that was up and down hills that took over 45min. Our tour guide said he was unaware that my father could t walk distances and blamed it on Maria. My dad barely made it back after we had to turn around. It ruined the rest of the trip for him. I contacted Maria. Maria blamed the tour guide. We did get refunded for the one day. Mind you we were only there for 4 days total. She also said if we booked again she would give us 25% off our next booking. We paid for this trip 2x and they couldn’t even get simple instructions correct about my father who is older. I would NEVER recommend this company. Maria did a horrible job. Especially since we gave very important requests. We traveled a day and half to hv my father’s bucket list trip ruined where he sat around cuz he could barely move after the “walk” she put us on. Our guide was mortified by this. There was obviously no communication. Between our guide and Maria.

Fantastic Travel Agent I have traveled to over 50 countries and 50 unique locations like Easter Island. This trip was for my 86th birthday celebrated on the Galápagos Islands. Setup by Manuela Alves at the Columbus Travel Agency. After 60 years of travel I think this one was the best scheduled, best tour guides, drivers and all over staff. A 10 out of 10.

Outstanding travel, excellent support, and incredibly well organized. The experience went without any hitches. From the first moment our plane touched down in Quito until our final departure at the Quito airport, we had a once in a lifetime outstanding experience. Our first escort met us after we picked up our luggage and guided us to our hotel at an awful late hour. On the way, Fabrizio explained many things. He answered all our questions with good advice. He even recommended where to find good quality Panama hats (sombreros), walking distance from our hotel. His knowledge of Quito proved immensely helpful. The awful early morning trip to the airport for our Galapagos adventure was equally easy. The airport had a slight glitch but Lesly readily fixed the problem. At the airport in the Galapagos, we were met by Galo, our fantastic guide, naturalist, comedian, video creator, knower of all things about wildlife and plants. He graciously got our luggage and us to our boat, the Anahi. For 10 days, he created a family like atmosphere as he herded 16 passengers to a once in a lifetime cruise and exploration of many of the islands. The boat’s crew were friendly, efficient, hard-working, skilled and kind. The food: OUTSTANDING. Upon our return to Quito, we had a 1 day outing to Mindo. Our guide, Isabella, was very knowledgeable about all we were seeing and going to see. We had tours of a hummingbird and a butterfly sanctuary, lunch at an incredible resort, a chocolate tour and a return to our hotel. Isabella recommended we see the national cultural museum in Quito which we dis the next day. Definitely worth the time. A great way to learn about the lo g pre-Colombian history of Ecuador. Our return to the states started with being picked up at 3:30 in the morning. At least at that time, traffic was minimal. Manuela at Columbia travel arranged all of this including the hotel and plane flights between Quito and Galapagos. And she and her colleague Lesly checked on us regularly to make sure all was going smoothly. If we needed anything, which we didn’t, they were right there to assist. If we were to come back to Ecuador (and we are considering it), we would definitely use Manuela and Columbia travel again.

Galapagos beyond expectations w Columbus Travel Pablo and Gabriela of Columbus Travel arranged every single detail possible for our 7-nights Fernandino Tour on the Beluga yacht! From the minute we arrived in Guayaquil til our flight home, we had people greet us, shuttle transfers, Galapagos flights, and hotels on both ends. Pablo and Gabriela were always timely with answering questions before and during the trip via email and WhatsApp. Their advice with choosing the Beluga Fernandino Tour and also what to bring was really appreciated. We were the only ones with binoculars and waterproof backpacks - so glad we had both! The Beluga went to several islands and the tour included snorkeling, walks, hikes, kayaking, and zodiac tours. Staff and especially the naturalist were top notch. The amount of wildlife we saw was simply amazing!

Professional and very helpful. We were a little apprehensive about booking directly with an Ecuadorian company instead of an Australian Travel agent. However, everything went smoothly and we were impressed with service. There was someone to meet us at airport and help with documents to travel to Galapagos as it can be complicated as not many people speak English there. We were given WhatsApp person number to contact if there were problems and the response was good when there was a miscommunication about where to meet the boat and all was sorted very quickly. They tailored travels to your needs. Highly recommended!
