Excellent fun for the whole family! Sweet staff who made the experience even better! They even offer things for you to do to gain extra time! Awesome!

We’ve done over 100 rooms each and this was definitely one worth doing. We waited too long to book and called and they stayed open for us. The owners were beyond nice and accommodating. On top of that the room was nicely themed and the puzzles were logical and flowed well. But, even with all that, the thing stood out was the genuine people and the excellent service. Next time I’m in Hilton Head I will definitely come do another room.

The True Grit escape room was our first. My 10-year-olds had so much fun that they are still talking about it hours later and we are planning our next adventure at Escape Island. The attendant was so friendly and helpful (we needed more than a couple hints for this difficult room). We escaped with 18 seconds to spare buzzing with excitement. A very well run, family friendly experience that was greatly enhanced by the excellent attendant. We will be back soon!

I’ve been to several escape rooms over the past several years in Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, and, now in Hilton Head, Brandy has the best setup and has been best host. She wants to make it as fun and flexible as possible for you. She’s super friendly and encourages your input. We went into a harder room and she introduced a light that would either change green, yellow, or red. Based on the color of the light, it would indicate to you how on track you were (green light) or if you were slowing up too much (yellow light) or needed to speed up quickly (red light) (This light is also optional for those who don’t want to know how close or far they are from escaping the room). I liked it because sometimes you aren’t sure if you have uncovered enough clues in 30 minutes or whatever. The rooms themselves were creatively decorated and fun. And there are different leveled rooms. I highly recommend this escape room and would definitely go back!

We did two of their escape rooms. Both were great. They were very well laid out and fun to work. The staff was equally great. I'd definitely recommend Escape Island to my family and friends. We're looking forward to returning and doing other rooms.
