My dog waited 14 hours to be assigned a vet to do an exam. A dog though stable was in pain 14 hours. The vet was kind, apologized I guess. I understand he was not critical but how can 14 hour wait just to see a vet be acceptable.

We had to bring our rabbit to Red River Emergency Hospital overnight for severe GI stasis and the care we received was excellent. The staff was calm, compassionate, and clearly experienced with rabbits, which immediately put us at ease. They treated him quickly and monitored him closely while explaining what was happening. Having to leave him overnight was hard but getting updates with pictues throughout the evening and morning helped so much. Dr Underwood was excellent and explained things clearly. She was very honest about the situation which I appreciated. Dr Stegman was also wonderful. He gave great recommendations and truly cared about finding the underlying causes and not just the emergency at hand. I asked to see our rabbit before leaving for the night and the assistant, Alex, handled him so gently and was very kind. We are beyond grateful for the compassion and expertise from the whole team at RREAH!! I dont know what we would've done without you!

I am very grateful for such wonderful care for our precious pet. Both Drs Kristen and Carver were exceptional. They were incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and kind. A rare combination of qualities. I appreciated the time Drs Kristin and Carver spent with me on the phone updating me thoroughly about their findings and making a plan together. They were both so kind and patient. It was evident they truly cared about my pet, what he was going through and what we as his family were going through. I highly recommend them!

The veterinarians and staff have always been very helpful in fully explaining the assessments and options for our pet. I can also see the diligence with which they prioritize the cases that come into the clinic and the professionalism they show in dealing with what are many times difficult circumstances. In this particular instance, we really appreciated the care and compassion of Dr. Stegman in helping us with our dog who passed away at the clinic during her emergency visit.

We brought our kitty, Stanley, in on a Wednesday night as he was straining to use the litterbox. Right as we walked through the door, the staff triaged him and quickly diagnosed the issue as a urinary obstruction. They got to work immediately and were able to save our little guy's life. He required two nights of hospitalization and observation. I will say the price was not that bad for 36 hours of continuous care. The whole team was very communicative and I appreciated the text & photo updates throughout his stay! Fingers crossed, Stanley won't have another medical emergency, but if he did I would not hesitate to bring him back. Thanks again for the great care you took of our little guy!

The access post-surgery to the medical team was stellar and eased a lot of my concerns. I can't show my gratitude enough. Everyone was amazing, the collective whole deserves the credit. I felt this was a true team.

Our puppy fractured his leg in 2 places jumping off the couch and it was after hours for our vet. It was definitely a blessing in disguise that we needed to go to the animal emergency hospital because our puppy is so small that we would have been referred to the referral center anyway for the surgery that he needed. Dr. Erickson and the emergency team initially saw Ozzy and diagnosed his fracture. Since we live in Fargo, we were able to leave Ozzy in their care and go home until he was able to be seen and they called us to let us know his diagnosis. Then we were referred to Dr. Silliman for his surgery. Dr. Silliman answered all of my questions and concerns in Ozzys consult for surgery and because Ozzy was so small, they wanted to get him in immediately the next day due to the nature of his fracture. The entire team from the beginning of the emergency visit, the consult and then the surgery team were so caring and compassionate! 10 out of 10 recommend you guys! We have loved everyone we have interacted with The care and compassion in treating Ozzy and keeping me updated with texts and pictures while he was in your care.
